If 0 was an option I'd choose that. My grandmother who is 90 and on a fixed income had gotten a system set up in our new house. We do not have Internet and we were told by the installer that it would not work unless we have Internet and he'll come back out in a week. A week goes by he comes back and we need it cancelled so he tells us he'll let them know we need it cancelled. We called and were met with a very unprofessional supervisor, she says we had three days to cancel which we were never notified of and says we have to pay for the services ($1,000+) that we were told weren't set up because of said Internet issue. The supervisor had paused and acted like she didn't hear most of what my grandmother had said which led my grandmother to an anxiety attack which again is 90. I have expected more from a security system business and I am greatly disappointed in the personnel and their unwillingness to try to fix the problem.Review fromJohn J. B

I called Safe Haven to report a issue with front door bell camera. They did some trouble shooting and said they need to send out a tech to replace door bell Back plate. good news its covered under warranty. but it will cost me 60 dollar service charge. i went on line and part cost 4.99. When I asked to speak to supervisor or manager I was told they don't want to talk to me. Don't go with these people they are the worse company everReview fromRobin D

I had a security system put in by Safe Haven Security on June 26 2024. Today is July 3 2024 and had trouble ever since it was put in. Called everyday they sent a Safe Haven Security came to set up and took my old security system down from Brinks. The tech took the old system down and then he gives me a paper showing me this ridiculous price. Bait and switch as the tech should have told me all before he removed old system as I thought I paid all the day before. However that is how they are taught thru your corporate office I was told. I had three business days to cancel so tried to cancel but was told sorry Safe Haven works on Saturday so Saturday is considered a business day. Wow since when is Saturday considered a business day, even though I was told I could cancel on Monday, I was told if I want to cancel I need to pay over $1,300.00. The reason I know there is a problem as I happen to have left my crappy $30.00 Wyze camera up in the front of my house and within one hour it showed that it went off 15 times via text and showed 15 videos thru my text messages. Safe Haven Camera only went off only 4 times. It never even showed the person that drove in my driveway and I went out to talk to the person and we were standing in front of my house right next to the camera. Can you imagine I was never alerted from the Safe Haven monitoring so no video was taken. And yet you want me to pay $70.61 a month for monitoring. Monitoring what?? Whenever the camera decides to work. How safe is that?? Guess it's the same for the camera in my backyard also. I can only assume so. I actually would like you to have all removed, refund what I have paid and cancel my contract. I say that as I feel cameras will never be fixed as no tech can seem to fix this problem. Buyer beware! They are not ADT and you will not get ADT service. I am beyond frustrated with Safehaven. We recently moved into a new home and needed to transfer security. We have been ADT customer for 10+ years and no issues…until now. My real estate agent gave me a referral to help with the setup. All was fine. Then comes the install day. Most of what was “promised” could not be done. We called them back and this is where the deceit comes in play. “Because you are not using the above items, we will give you shock sensors in place of them.” 6 sensors “promised”. I was also told the install fee would not be the $349, $170 would be credited. Install day comes and things are installed. Still assuming we are getting what I was “promised” (of course NONE of this is in writing. After the tech left the approx $2K did not sit well with me so I went back to my notes. Now to the lies and fake promises. I call and call, finally speaking to a manager that just wants to tell me “how things work”. I know how they work, I know that it’s not one for one apples to swap, BUT, this is what you, on 2 different occasions, told me I would get! THEIR miscommunication. How far do I have to escalate this for SOMEONE to listen to ME, the customer. They pass the buck to the install guy, he tells me to escalate to another manager that he cannot help. I call back to get a very long, understanding lady named Steph. The only one who took any consideration for the customer. She cant make any adjustments. I really just want all this crap gone. Even if I tried to cancel within 3 days, they will say no you didn’t. They will tell you one thing and then run in circles. All I want is credit for what I was not supposed to be charged for. Look at the reviews of this place. They are terrible. They need training on how to communicate to their customers. ADT, this is a poor reflection on you as well. Awful company, has been trying to extort me for 75% of the contract even though I am trying to get out within the allowed 3 days. I have sent them proof of this and they have stopped replying. Our glass brake system is going off all the time, the system is the worst!Review fromDavid M

Apparently, my home with DR Horton included a three-year contract for my smart home features. I actually was not aware of the time period tied to this and received no notifications that the contract period was ending. Not a single email. Not a single phone call. No in-app notification. I went on vacation for 17 days and suddenly none of my alarm.com features worked. They shut them completely down without notice and the keypad code to open the front door doesn’t work at all! If I had known this I would have left a key with the people who were taking care of my animals! Instead everyone got completely locked out of the house while I was a thousand miles away. SHAME ON YOU! An email notification would have been nice. Now I certainly will not be renewing this service and will be replacing the devices with a company that provides better customer service and won’t leave me unexpectedly locked out of the house.Review fromAdrianna m

Biggest regret EVER. Paid the initial fee of about 250$ and now 70$ a month. They installed my smoke detector right by an air vent which has caused it to go off for no reason FOUR TIMES now which in turn calls the local fire department to my house which is a HUGE waste of their time and completely EMBARRASSING for me. I have begged them every time its happened to please send someone out to check it out or even just move it to another spot in my house but they refuse to help me unless I pay the 60$ service fee. THEY MADE THE MISTAKE of placing it in the wrong spot. I should not have to pay when it was not my mistake in the first place and I already pay so much every month. They REFUSE to help their customers and I cannot wait for the day my contract is over. If I could give negative stars I would. HORRIBLE GREEDY COMPANY DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!Review fromjohn a

A salesman from them promised a system to replace the one I have for practically no money an upgrade from my existing system. Gave him the go ahead but since I had a freeze on my credit it did not go through. Gave wife's information and said because I had been with ADT years ago I was not eligible for the deal. He was to process under the wife's name but never heard back even though I called sent email and text never heard back, sent a email directly to company an awaiting answer.
