      I used Deluxe because my bank referred me to them and promised a significant discount. I wish I had looked at reviews before ordering. Apparently, the agent I spoke with quoted me the discounted prices and then implied the discount would be applied after that. So I was expecting the cost to be far less than the bill (which was only sent after the product was shipped - almost two weeks after the order). Deluxe checks are literally $500 more for the same number of checks than my order at a different vendor.

      I have been buying checks from them for my company for the past 40+ years. I went to reorder and while they are 10x what other companies charge, I used a coupon and got it down to what I thought was reasonable. When I went to check out, they charged over $36 to mail 4 check books and a pad of deposit slips. Then when I went to the next screen it went up to over $46. I know it doesn't cost that much to mail a box that size. A flat rate box would be about $17. So not only are they ripping you off on the checks, they are ripping you off on the shipping.

      Terrible customer service, 51 years with this company. Our bank quit using them, but we kept using Deluxe. But they got their last order from me. Totally lied an twisted my complaint.

      Very poor service: my order was so messed up ended up trying to chg me $600 they issued me a credit and kept billing me. Ive called the billing office and they were totally unhelpful anyway after multiple calls its still not resolved talk about the blind leading the blind, Js

      Our business provides small business support services: bookkeeping, taxes, payroll, and a broad range of other services and products including business checks. We operate lean and at a fast pace. Recently, we notice that Deluxe "pre-selects" the so-called "EZ Shield" fraud protection service in your shopping cart, making it extremely easy (and likely), by design, to be missed and included in your checkout and payment. What we later realized is that when a customer declines and de-selects the service, the shopping cart is automatically loaded with a lower-cost EZ Shield service! This who process is obviously designed to deceive and trick customers. Extremely deceptive, if not fraudulent! I would not be surprised if a class-action lawsuit eventually comes out of this practice. One of our clients was also recently charged (by ACH from their bank account) for an order that was never placed. We were directed to send a report to Customer Accounting by email. A month and follow-up email since then -- still no response. We've begun moving our clients' check orders to Costco/Harland Clarke. Not as many choices there; but the prices and customer service are far better.

      Terrible!! I place business orders regularly. Items do not ship on time (even though Deluxe sends an email saying an order has been shipped, it has not!). Items are not received within the timeframe promised. We are actively looking for another vendor for our checks. The one star given is only because they have a chat feature that is nice to use.

      This has been an ongoing problem. Production time is taken into consideration. Checks were shown as shipped, but when tracked via UPS, the label had been created only......shipping had not occurred despite Deluxe's email to me saying it had shipped. It is just so frustrating to not receive items as promised time after time.

      I placed an order on 3/17/23 for personal checks. The order was shipped but never received. Upon calling on 4/7/2023 a second set of check was to be sent out. The second set was also NEVER received. According to DELUX customer service no tracking is provided for these packages. So I now have 2 boxes of missing checks that are who knows where and the bank is suggesting I close the account I've held for almost 20 years and open a new account. I am beyond frustrated and highly concerned with their lack safe guarding my account. Totally disgusted by this company.

      Absolutely shady business practices. I placed an order for 500 business checks, two different deposit book sets and two stamps for doing the deposits. All seems well, but on checkout I notice a charge on the bill for $30+ for fraud insurance and I can't seemingly remove it.. oh no.. I don't think so.. so back to the main website, look at the cart, find the item, remove it, as I didn't request this at all. Fabulous.. back to the cart, ready to check out for the 2nd time.. look at the items.. magically.. a new item has appeared.. for.. you guessed it.. fraud insurance.. but this time, it's only $20. Oh, I don't think so.. back to the main site.. cart.. remove the fraud insurance that I didn't ask for.. (at this point, I'm ready to kill the order and move to another company.. but.. I don't).. ready to place the order.. see my discount code for 60% off is in place.. total order around $300.. still overpriced, but alas, I don't have time to redo it elsewhere.. so I click.. place order.. and.. you guessed it.. Deluxe REMOVED the discount code and charged me $765.78. I'm guessing because I didn't want their fraudulent charge for insurance on my bill.. I've bought my checks from Deluxe for 30+ years.. haven't needed a new order in a long while.. so went back to them because of the good results I've always had in the past.. well, I will be cancelling the order with my credit card company in the morning.. Absolutely shady deceptive process in the shopping card with Deluxe.. BUYER BEWARE.

      You do not "offer" EZShield, you embed it on every cart without asking. I had to go through many steps to remove it, yet after I did so, it reappeared at a different rate. That's CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR. I am a NEW customer in that I haven't ordered ********************** in a very long time. Your site held the 60% off offer until I clicked the "PAY" button, then it removed it and completed the order. I would have never ordered ONE 500 box of checks, two stamps and two deposit books for $765. THAT IS UNETHICAL! I will NOT be contacting your customer service. I've already contacted my credit card company and rejected the charge. Just so you know, I went ahead and placed my order with ****** Checks (*************************** I believe) and ordered twice as many checks (****) and you guessed it.. right at $200 for the whole order. Why not run your business in an ethical manner?

      This company sucks! Will not answer a phone. AI system is useless. Ordered checks still have not received. They told me they shipped my order on 8 days ago. Post office does not show any delivery. Post office shows a ticket that a package will be handed off to them. But deluxe has not so the ticket has been inactive for 7 days. WHAT UP?? I'm tracking the package. No activity. Called the bank who ordered the checks. Deluxe told the bank something different than they told me. This company does not want to deal with the customers that it serves. They are not customer service friendly at all. They offer a product to the customers but they do not give the customers any service. I will order my checks though Amazon next time. They took the money out of my account but I have no product. The one time i was able to speak with a person, she was rude and get could have led to argument. Of course Deluxe is right and we the studip customers are wrong, wrong, wrong. They shut you down. Sounds like washington dc!!!! Also ordered address labels same day as checks. Deluxe shows shipping is pending. I believe in communication to the customers so that bad reviews like this one will not keep repeating themselves over and over. Deluxe you need to learn FROM THE PEOPLE. The bank will not give me inside Deluxe phone number. Some ancient chinese secret I guess. Dont charge my bank account if you know i have not received the product. Shame on Deluxe. I would not give Deluxe any stars at all expect that one star is automatic! They give themselves one time at least! LOL sounds confident to me. Deluxe is a one way street. Just saying.
