PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!!!THEY HAVE THE MOST UNETHICAL PROCEDURES AND THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE. I EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT WE HAD ALREADY FACTORED IN HIS FIRST LOAD WITH ************* PRIOR TO THEM FILING A *** AND THEY FILED THE *** AFTER WE SPOKE ON THE ***** WITHOUT A SIGNED CONTRACT THIS IS UNETHICAL AND IN THE ******************* THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO PROVIDE A CONTRACT AND APPLICATION IN THE LANGUAGE THAT THEY SPEAK IN AND THE **** SPOKE WAS FROM ******** OR SOMEWHERE OVERSEAS AND SPOKE IN SPANISH TO THE DRIVER OF THE COMPANY AND WE STILL DONT HAVE ANYTHING THEY SENT IN HIS LANGUAGE TO EXPLAIN WHAT SERVICES THEY PROVIDE. WHEN HE TOLD THEM TO TALK TO ME THEY CALLED AND I TOLD THEM EXACTLY WE WERE NOT INTERESTED, THEY UNLAWFULLY FILED A *** AND NEVER PROVIDED ANY DOCUMENTATION IN SPANISH SO THE DRIVER COULD UNDERSTAND. Any person engaged in a trade or business who negotiates primarily in Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Korean, orally or in writing, in the course of entering into any of the following, shall deliver to the other party to the contract or agreement, and any other person who will be signing the contract or agreement, and before the execution thereof, a translation of the contract or agreement in the language in which the contract or agreement was negotiated, that includes a translation of every term and condition in that contract or agreement: ********** Code, Civil Code - CIV ****. Hello *******, we sent a release letter to this carrier on 2/24/23, weeks before this review. We cannot send release letters to you, as you are not an authorized owner or member of the company in question. The carrier has full permission to remove the *** with that release letter. If you would like a copy of the letter, please contact the carrier. Thank you.Review fromVeneccia G

Dont ever factor with TAFS! We fulfilled our contract by giving a 90 day notice to terminate our contract . They in return charged $10,000 for a buyout fee . They stated this was calculated with charging $10 per invoice . We had roughly 90 invoices. Where in the world did you get a charge of $10,000! We sent numerous emails with vague responses . This is the biggest scam just to charge a substantial amount so they can keep you hostage so you cant factor with another company. We have had numerous issues ranging from being charged back and they had the money but didnt apply it to the account. They recently started a way to get more money out of you when you submit a batch but Tafs would leave off several debtors just to allow you to resubmit the batch to charge additional fees. Dont ever factor with them! Biggest factoring scam company ever! They dont even deserve the one star rating but we had to at least rate that!TAFS

Hello Veneccia, the buyout agreement is an option. The handling fee on a buyout agreement is charged to the other factor – not the carrier/client. A carrier/client has the option to wait for all the open accounts receivable to be collected, and then get the release letter once the balance is $0. There is no charge for that option. As for the charge backs and misapplied payments, we apologize if that happened and we are happy to send in a payment fix ASAP to get those corrected. We only split batches if we are unable to verify an invoice with the debtor, or if there are paperwork issues. We do not split to earn more fees. Thank you.Review fromChad M.

WARNING NEW OWNER OPERATORS..If zero stars was on option that's what I'd rate this company. Starting up a business is confusing to say the least that being said I answered a call from tafs (made the mistake of giving the representative my time) and processed to ask about discounts,a fuel card and other services they provide. I had explained to him that I have no ein# and I'm just starting out and not ready to start hauling loads and he proceeded to tell me that I could just get started by providing a ss# to do a background check? And sign some forms to get the ball rolling. I made the mistake of thinking because they didn't need ALL of my information that would have made the application incomplete. They won't voluntarily give u ANY information without starting an "application" which I thought was a application for a fuel card more like there fancy word for "binding contract" I ended up being signed up for factoring service and I had called back 20 minutes after realizing what had happened and was basically told that I signed a contract.I explained to him that I would like to stop everything right there he said he would have a manager reach out to me and everytime I call I get the same person telling me the same thing with no results. Having no prior experience with factoring company's I feel l was taken advantage of and railroaded into something I didn't want or have a clear understanding for and was told oh well we're not releasing you from our ucc!! Not a good look for an already poorly rated company. They are definitely a company only in this for themselves with zero empathy for the small guy!TAFS

Hi ****, we had a supervisor reach out to discuss, and we listened to the call with our representative to make sure our team properly communicated the services to you. Based on the review that our supervisor did, you were aware that it was a factoring services agreement, but just got worried you made a mistake afterwards by looking at negative reviews. We know we can provide the factoring services you signed up for, as we have thousands of happy clients. Thank you.Review fromAl C

Absolute WORST factoring company *** encountered the past 8 years. Only thing good was my account rep who was thoughtful and did her best to make wrongs right. But overall STAY AWAY from this factoring company. The management is rude and confrontational. They hate to fix anything that happens in error and will demonize your innocence. So may other places to chose from so buyer beware!TAFS

Hello *****, we had a supervisor reach out, and your PAE was able to reverse the delayed advance. We believe the issue is fixed, as you stated to the supervisor that you would be either removing the review or marking as resolved. Thank you for the feedback.Review fromJose R.

Hello ****, you can solve problems in multiple ways with TAFS. You can call our Client Services team, and once they open a case you can reply via email to that case. Also, you can solve many invoice issues in the Client Portal or Mobile app. The only reason we would split invoices from a batch is if we were unable to verify a load or the paperwork submitted had some sort of a problem. We are happy to look into the issue for you to make sure it was done properly. If our team made a mistake we will gladly refund the transaction fee. As for the fees, all of them are included in your contract, they are not hidden. It sounds as if you have a fuel commitment on your contract, which means you are getting a great rate if you hit that commitment, but if you miss it, your rate basically goes back up the following month. It is a win-win because you can save hundreds on fuel with the fuel card, and get a lower factoring rate if you hit your commitment again. Thank you.Review fromApril C

Absolutely the WORST factoring company. If you want to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars over the span of your business, never get ANY of the discounts they promote, have to wait on hold for 2+ hours only to get zero help, the people literally give NO HELP. They are thieves who steal your money, and try to find loopholes to not repay you. Oh and GOOD LUCK if you ever want to leave this shady company. Their whole contract is made up to where its pretty much near impossible to get out of. All in all I give 0 stars. This company is a scam and there are so so so many factoring companies that will offer you great help at half the cost. Theres a reason theres nothing but bad reviews on this company. SAVE YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND YOUR BUSINESS. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY!!! I had to add one star but this company deserves 0!TAFS

Hello *****, according to your company's fuel consumption report, you have received many discounts on fuel. You also can get discounts on maintenance and tires anytime you want as long as you follow the directions provided. We will have a supervisor reach out to discuss any issues. TAFS does not steal money, we advance money to you, our client, and then that money has to be repaid to TAFS by your debtor. If you want to terminate your contract, simply abide by the termination clause in the contract. Thank you.Review fromDelphina E

After being on hold over an hour representatives answer then never say anything if u opt for them to call u might get a call back 8hrs later. Invoices are hit and miss u can't even contact them once they've denied a invoice for a ridiculous unnecessary reason I submitted 2invoices 1 didn't get submitted ****** says supplement pages of BOL when I submitted BOL with 3signatures which is correct there's no more paperwork I was provided TAFS just makes factoring process a headache there's no reason any more paperwork should have been asked of and then the process to get out of this contract with them is slim to nothing bc they make it so hard to get off from under them, worst factoring company ever! After driving a truck hours u submit paperwork no one wants stress with a company that makes everything very stressful to getting in contact, invoices, or getting from under them. I'm so disgusted with this companyTAFS

Hello *****, the call back time on this issue was 40 minutes, not 8 hours. Invoice ******** was missing supplemental pages that needed to be verified - TAFS ************** Rep sent an email to the debtor on case 2228273 2/14 at 8:46 am. ****** replied at 9:07 am, and the ** rep ******** the client via email at 9:24 am that the verification email had been attached to the invoice in processing. The load got approved for ACH at 9:26 am. Our team will reach out to you to discuss and close out any issues. Thank you.Review fromMe S

Hello Me, TAFS wants every client to read their contract before they sign, and ask as many questions as possible before doing so. We also have a full service Client Services team, and you can reach them at ************. They can walk you though the entire process of factoring invoices. Based on the name and email provided on this review, we do not see anyone with your information in our system, or we would reach out to assist. Thank you.
