      The worst experience among all rental car companies. They kept me waiting for their shuttle for more than 40 minutes at the airport.

      My experience with Ace Car Rental was incredibly frustrating. When I arrived at Ace to pick up my rental, they had no vehicle available for me. Since it was the night before Thanksgiving, no other rental agencies had cars either. Left without options, I had to take a taxi for a 102-mile trip to my brothers house, finally arriving at 1 ****** make matters worse, when I called for a refund, I was informed that the insurance I purchased for the rental carwhich I never even usedwould not be refunded. While I understand that unexpected issues can arise, refusing to refund insurance for a car I never drove is beyond unreasonable. This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had.

      Terrible! Scam! Rented a vehicle even received a text message confirming when we land that the vehicle is available. We get to the rental car center and are told they are overbooked and dont have a car for us. But just happen to have a shuttle, waiting to a sister company downstairs for a vehicle that is double the price of what they quoted. For the same car. Stay away from this place. Of course with no cars available at any company we had to take The rental in the middle of the night. They drove us to a terrible part of town with no way back unless we took the other vehicle. Stay away from this company!

      I would like to share the great experience I had with this company. They are very professional, understanding, and caring. They always provide newer and very clean cars compared to other companies. I am a returning customer and have been using their services for years.I have to give special thanks to ****** ******** and Naj. They take such great care of their customers. I am so happy to rent a car from this amazing company and receive such special attention. I will always return here!

      I rented with ACE via Expedia. I bought insurance from *******, just in case. I was rushed through the check in process. Didn't really get a chance to look at the car since it was 11:30 at night. Plus I bought damage insurance through ******* ****** so I thought I was covered. I return the car afew days later and there is a small scratch on the lower back bumper. They filed a claim with *** for repairs. Weeks later, I get a bill for $250 as an administrative fee, plus $10 service fee. Their henchmen, KMS Claims, said the insurance wouldn't pay the administrative fee and I must pay it, per the contract "fine print". At first, I thought I was getting a decent deal on the rental. Now, I am paying more than had I gone through any other agency. *** and their sister company, *** are shysters. DO NOT RENT FROM ACE RENTAL CARS.

      In our terms and conditions, it does state that customers must have full coverage insurance to rent our vehicle (Collision and Liability). The insurance you bought through a third party only covers the Collision portion of the insurance requirement.       I would give them less if I could. Never use this company they denied me a car after taking my money because I didn't have my return ticket which I 2as getting the next day. They **** and are evil

      Unprofessional. I verbally declined all additional insurance. They had me sign contracts on a device that had a small viewing window. I unknowingly signed three waivers which resulted in an additional $170. That's shady in and of itself, but my main complaint is that they could easily just refund the waivers (I had caught my mistake right after signing and before I got the car), but they make it extremely difficult to cancel. They would charge a one-day fee plus then you had to purchase a new car rental reservation which would be more expensive last-minute. I will never use them again and have told everyone the same.

Customers may use their own personal coverage, but they will need supporting documents, if not then they do have to purchase it at the front desk to continue with the rental.       Horrible rental car company, they add on additional fees and state you must take them even though you show them you have full coverage. As I was in there office, 2 other customers were arguing with them over the same **************** learned, rent from a reputable car company. I went to Enterprise and had no issues.will not recommend Ace rent a car.

      Can I go less than 1 star??? Absolutely disgusting company and horrible business practices! My wife flew to *** to visit her dying father. The representative saw a vulnerable woman coming and took full advantage. We paid for 100% of this rental with points and have our own insurance. But they tacked on almost $200 in fees (for a 4 day compact car rental!) and would not let her go until she signed it. All she wanted was to get a car and go see her dying dad! So she signed it and went and then called my very upset. I called and they REFUSED to do anything about it, saying she needs to visit them in person. She is over an hour away from LAX and not returning until she fly's out. That is very inconvenient AND she does not want to deal with that sexist creep who is trying to take advantage of her. Absolutely wretched company! I will NEVER, EVER do business with *** again. Looking at other reviews we are not the first victim's nor will we be the last. I'm sure that creep of an agent gets a commission to sell their garbage insurance that we do NOT want or need. What a terrible company, STAY FAR AWAY

When it comes to insurance, we do allow our customers to use their own personal coverage, but they do need to provide supporting documents at the time of pick up. It does state in our terms and conditions that if customers do not provide supporting documents, then they are required to purchase insurance at the front desk to continue with their rental.
