      I rented a car end of July it had dents dings scratches etc I took 13 pictures of the car and they have you circle what part of car is damaged I circled practically the whole car I noticed I never got my $200 deposit so called my credit card and disputed it I received a phone call Sept ******* saying the car has damage we need your car Ins info open up a claim so we can get this fixed I been going back and forth with ***** ****** car damage claims Ace rental she never answers her phone we are emailing all her emails are open up a claim and give me your claim number My car Insurance told me to hire an attorney and sue them for my $200 deposit Dont Ever Rent from them!!!! Big Scam

      The agent lied to me on applying the insurance, even though i told them i will opt for my own insurance they still charged me for buying the insurance from them.

      After looking further into your reservation, it looks like you contacted the location on October 25th about the charges and disputing them. You picked up the rental on October 12th and returned it on October 15th, we do provide all of our customers their ********************** agreements when they pick up the vehicle, and if you see any charges that you did not believe you opted in for then you may request to remove them at the front desk. Unfortunately, since you contacted support 10 days after being charged the final total, there is not much we can do on our end. We highly encourage our customers to read over the ********************** agreement before leaving the front desk since it is legally binding.       I was in an Ace rental car when someone struck my vehicle.The person at fault's insurance agency was willing to cover all damages, but *** submitted an invoice that was clearly overpriced for the small area of impact (front bumper, where the left headlight had to be replaced). As a result, they are now trying to get me to cover $3,000 + for physical damage that an insurance agency verified via quote, that was too high, citing my signed rental agreement.I will never rent a car from *** again.

      They hoodwinked me. *Don't reserve "Supplier's Choice" with them or they will do it to you too!I reserved a Supplier's Choice rental car for Sep. 20 - 30 for a grand total of $279.59, via Priceline. I've done this many times and gotten anything from an Economy car to a Minivan. When I arrived at ACE RENT A CAR, there were 3 human employees sitting behind their desks, not helping anyone, and they told me to "Go to Zamir," which was an iPad and a video customer service agent. ***** told me the only available vehicles were their 15-passenger vans covered in ACE RENT A CAR window covers.I said, "You're joking, right?"HE said that was all they had available, or "You can upgrade for just $17.""It that $17 total or $17 per day?" I asked."Total," he ******* I agreed and waited 30 minutes for my car. Then one of the 3 employees handed me my paperwork and they added $17.99 per day. I went back to ***** and told him he lied to me. He said it was all on video, so I asked to see the video. He said I needed to ask his Manager for the ******** I went to one of the 3 employees, who told me there wasn't a Manager there, and gave me a number to call. I immediately called that number, and it was a general **************** number, who said all they could do was note my concern, and someone would get back to me. And that I could leave a voicemail for the Manager. I did ***** this point, the whole check-in process had taken an hour and I was late for my meeting, so I had no option but to use the $17.99 additional they charged me per day for 10 days. This was a Friday, so I tried the Manager again on Monday. Same deal. Not an actual Manager of the location. Just a general **************** who said, "We already noted your Escalated case, and someone will get back to you."It's now been 12 days since my initial voicemail and 8 since my 2nd voicemail. No one has gotten back to me.This seems like a scheme they pull on people who reserve "Supplier's Choice."Avoid them.

      Based on these reviews, I guess we dished a bullet. Went to pick up the minivan I had reserved with my husband listed as the driver. We were told that they needed a utility bill in his name for our home address which is also on his drivers license. Then they proceeded to tell us that it was 150 mile limit per day and that the car couldnt leave the state. I made my reservation with Priceline and there was no mention that the vehicle couldnt leave the state and the reservation said unlimited mileage. Ive never heard such absurdity! I will absolutely never use this company again.

      I would never use Ace rental again. The gentleman at the counter indicated they had a car ready and said would you like this car? I said yes ended up charging me over $130 for the upgrade. He stated they were running behind and never said it would be an upgrade Use a different rental agency they are not
