STAY AWAY FROM THIS SO CALLED WARRANTY COMPANY AND ANYONE THAT SELLS THEIR SO CALLED PRODUCTS. Unfortunately, my grandson went out on his own an purchased a car and this so called warranty.Of course the car engine broke down less than 90 days later....this place has now taught a young man a valuable ****** in mistrust. They have jerked him around and provided no customer service to speak of except word salad. Now, he is stuck with a dormant piece of metal and plastic that adorns their driveway. The car broke down, engine locked up, not even ***** miles on it from purchase....*** says no worries, just drive....what a slogan...please change it to All Worries, No driving.Try calling them....I dare you...HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESSReview fromRoberto J

This company has been one of the worst companies that ever existed in the history of the world. It is difficult for me to understand how they are still in business today. I called them for an extension to the current plan that I had when I first purchased my car so that I could continue using it. Approximately two months after I extended my plan, I hit something on the road, and my wheel hub was damaged. It cost me around **** dollars to repair my car at the dealership to repair two-wheel hubs, which was costly. Back to my complaint, on May 13th, I took my car to the dealership for repair, and the dealership called me to inform me that the repair had been completed and that I would have to pay 600 dollars to receive my car back. Since I was confused, I wondered why I should only have to pay my deductible when I have a warranty on my vehicle. I was told by the representative at the dealership that GWC only paid a percentage of the repair, which came out to be 129 dollars, which was different from what I had expected. As a result of this, I later called GWC to find out what was going on, and they told me that since I took my car to a dealership for the repair, that was the reason why they were only paying 129 dollars. Then I was informed that if I took my car to one of their recommended repair shops or a backyard mechanic, all I would have had to pay was my deductible of 250 dollars. I asked why didn't they inform me of this when I set ** the policy or stated in the contract that it took them two and a half months to get to me. Then the rep told me that since the repair was down on a Saturday, it would take time to process the claim and that they would have to send an audit adjuster out to inspect the car before releasing payment. I asked how long it would take, and they told me that since it was submitted on Saturday and today is Monday, I would only be able to get my car on Thursday at the earliest. I have told everyone I know to never use APCO, GWC, or EasycareReview fromCHRISTINA L

0 stars if I could. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Dealing with *** has never been easy or ideal, only frustrating. I was stuck on side of highway with a blown tire and no spare on hold with *** for 2 1/2 hours back in August 2022. At first they couldn't find my location (even though I was able to give them mile markers, side road names, and the name of a store I could see down the road a little bit). After finally finding my location on their end was on hold for ANOTHER HOUR try to get a tow company to me. A good samaritan noticed I was stuck for a long time and came with 2 spares to see if one fit and it did. A RANDOM ******* WAS MORE HELPFUL THAN ***.Fast forward, tried using *** again today (April 2023) since I am paying for it and can't cancel unless my car was stolen, totaled or repossessed. There is only one "preferred" shop in my area according to *** website. Called them and they refuse to work with *** anymore due to payment issues. Now I'm stuck with a warranty that isn't worth anything. They are a scam and they rip off their customers. "No worries, just drive"? HA more like no worries I'll just take your money and you'll have to fend for yourself!Review fromKarelia D

Don't reccomend! The warranty took 2 weeks to approve the repair and 2 more weeks of waiting for their repair part to arrive. Overall took 30 days to have my vehicle back and the rental is for only five day. The dealership shop that repaired my vehicle, mentioned they usually don't have to wait this long to repair a vehicle and that the warranty made it more complicated than others. GWC requested further breakdown of the component after the shops first diagnosis which added more time of labor. I ended up having to pay those unnecessary extra hours of labor. And this was a reliable shop, dont see why that was necessary. This was a repair that could have been completed in less than a week but thanks to the insurance's delay it took a whole month. The actual instalation of the part took the shop a few hours after receiving the part. Now I hope my vehicle has no other issues to avoid this terrible experience.Review fromTyler H

This Company is been nothing but a pain in my butt!!! Bought a 2017 dodge Grand caravan in May of 2022 with 119,*** miles on it Van drove great when we bought it. Here recently we have had transmission problems. So we took it to a shop that works on vehicles that is Covered by GWC they took it apart and sent the pictures in like they asked. But now GWC is trying to find a Loop hole they told us that something in the transmission was supposed to be changed at 120,*** mile. I bought a used vehicle how am I supposed to know that I didn't get a owners manual with a car that already has ******* miles on it.. GWC IS A JOKE AND A SCAM!!!!!!!Review fromJames M

If there's anyone out there, offered or propositioned for warranty for your car, with GWC warranty.Don't! This company is fraudently operating to defraud hard working Americans out of their money, to build wealth, with false advertising and false business operation. If you're like me retired and on fixed income depend on a warranty or insurance companies to stay afloat. This Gwc warranty company is a fraud and the only way we can stop these companies from taking an advantage of us is to hold them accountable. This company is actually taking people's money and getting rich off it. I had a paid-up warranty for a year. I took my car in for repairs, and they found every excuse they could deny my claim. lie after lie. the final lie you damage your car while driving it. If there anyone out there who would like to participate in a class action lawsuit, please fill free to contact me at Face book and leave a message, before the try and file bankrupt. you know they do. we are hardworking Americans, but not stupid. class action. I wll be posting the information on *********Review fromTina S

Dont waste your time with an extended warranty from GWC. I have had 2 claims filed and both were denied. Parts that needed to be replaced were not covered. But if I had the whole component replaced that the parts were a part of it would have been no problem. I just dont understand how they can do this to consumers. I put good faith in this warranty and keep getting let down.Review fromTim O.

Spent $1000 on their warranty NO mechanic would take their warranty (including FORD).Was told I could get my car repaired and then file a claim (since no mechanic wanted to deal with this company). After doing this they denied my claim for not getting prior approval. I asked to appeal and they said I could not appeal.Review fromDonald W

***'s "PROTECTION THE MINUTE YOU DRIVE OFF THE **** is a Joke!I purchased a 2014 ****** Versa Note with ******* miles on it on November 17, 2022. Prior to buying the car I reviewed the Carfax report and drove the car in various conditions (interstate, stop and start, hilly, ect.) and found that it ran with no problem. I also connected a *** sensor to the *** port and ran a scan that showed no codes.I purchased the GWC warranty because it had no waiting period. The *** brochure stated PROTECTION THE MINUTE YOU DRIVE OFF THE ****.On Sunday, November 20, a check engine light came on. I did a *** scan and it gave a P0744 Powertrain Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Intermittent code. On Monday, November 21, I took the car to **************. I told them that I had the GWC warranty and asked them to please contact *** first before performing any work. They told me that they would need to do a transmission diagnostic test and pull the transmission pan to see if there were metal fragments in the pan. They found a PO744 fault in the diagnostic test and recommended a new transmission. *** denied the claim stating that it was a preexisting condition. When I purchased the car, I received a ********** Smog report. I read where check engine lights would cause the test to "fail". My cars report shows that there were no *** codes at the time of the test. So I submitted a claims appeal. The *** supervisor told me that the transmission problem was "wear-and-tear" (or "preexisting") not a "failure." So much for ***'s No Worries, Just Drive. Wouldn't any failure with a used car be "wear and tear"?The transmission check engine light continues to stay on. Today my wife was driving the car and pulled out in front of a bus when the transmission "died". Fortunately the bus stopped and she was able to "limp" across the street and park it. No Worries, ******************!Review fromParis B

This company will not help you at all. I have a 2013 **** Fusion that I have not had for a year and my engine went out. Everything is supposed to be covered under my engine. I had to get the car towed to the shop. The claims persons came out to the shop and did his inspection of the car and now they saying they not going to cover it. Whats the point of paying for a warranty and the company dont help you out.GWC Warranty
