I recently purchased a used *** and, so far, my experience with GWC Warranty has been positive. Shortly after taking delivery, I encountered two significant parts failures, but *** stepped up, authorizing the repairs and covering the costs exactly as outlined in my agreement. A special shoutout to ******, who heads up the claims team. He reviews claims promptly and approaches every case with an open mind. His thoughtfulness, fairness, and commitment to interpreting the contract properly make all the difference. He makes sure claims are handled correctly and customers get the coverage theyre entitled to. Based on my experience so far, I appreciate GWCs professionalism and reliability. If you're considering an extended warranty, theyve demonstrated a strong commitment to standing behind their agreements.Review fromMelody N

Canceled my claim because I brought another car in January and here it is April and getting the run around more than four months later and still trying to get a refund for a gap cancellation. Ive been told it was mailed days passed called back than another *** to is that they were processing it weeks added than called back now their telling the dealer it has been added as a credit and the next policy would take care of that refund but the company doesnt use them for gap insurance because of bad reviews and how they are going about refunding customers but I all they still hold people money so this is basically stealing. Ive got emails of the run around since January proof.Review fromMatthew L

WARNING DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GWC WARRANTY!!! It is a scam. **************** can provide no answers, they translate repair shop's words to mean whatever they want and don't cover your repairs. It isn't worth it. RUN from GWC WARRANTY... RUN!!!Review fromRob T

Cancelled my contract before the 30 days after seeing the reviews on here and glad I did!!! Like everything GWC makes it hard so they can get "slippage" and keep your money.1. You have to cancel through dealer you bought it from they refuse to do it directly with you for no reason even thought it says you can in the fine print.2. Dealer filed cancelled paperwork/*** says it's cancelled but it has been over ************************************************ check to my dealer. There is no reason in this day and age it should take over 30 days. *** is just holding your money hostage.3. Now I will need to file with my state AG about this cause GWC can not be trusted to do honest business,Review fromJovanna M

If GWC warranty doesnt have any haters, that means Im dead! I will never work with this company again for any vehicles I purchase in the future. I will go out of my way to tell people to not buy into this warranty. I purchased the top tier of the used car warranty when I purchased my car SIX MONTHS AGO. I needed a total engine replacement due to a broken piston. *** refused to replace the engine by attempting to put the blame on me for not maintaining the vehicle. Even with all of the receipts showing I did my due diligence with the vehicle in the short amount of time I owned it, they refused. My mechanic even had another vehicle with the same warranty and problem, but *** immediately approved their engine replacement and not mine. Myself and the mechanic spent 2 weeks going back and forth with the warranty to get them to find a way to replace the engine. It wasnt until I had to go ***** on them and ask to speak to the highest supervisor to dispute the repair that they immediately called the mechanic and agreed to the repair. Now about a month later I have a new engine in the vehicle almost ready to come home to me. The mechanic is doing a final test on the vehicle and finds out GWC SENT THE WRONG ENGINE!!! Now myself and the mechanic are going back and forth with warranty to get a new engine asap. I have lost shifts due to not having my car for a month. THEY DO NOT GIVE A S*** ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ********************** TO ANYONE!!!GWC Warranty

I bought a car a year ago from a dealership and it already had a downpipe and aftermarket exhaust on it, I purchased a warranty to cover full powertrain etc, I have all receipts of maintenance and any repairs and have been going back and forth for almost a month with the service center and warranty company (blew a hole in the block), they denied my claim since the car was modified but THATS HOW I BOUGHT THE F**king car, they have been doing everything possible to get out of the claim in the first place and have been terrible with responses and understanding the contract that they are responsible for and now they deny, Im at my wits end and will not stand for a company that cant stand by there service/product im left with little to no options and still owe on the vehicle, considering I paid $5000 I expect either a FULL refund or my car to be fixed because this is just wrong, they already have terrible reviews and seem to be very picky about who they help.Review fromMARY ANN O

Right now Im still waiting for a claim the ********** dealership first called about 2 weeks ago. First GWC wasnt open on a nonbank holiday so that pushed it back two days. Then they took two days to review the claim. Then they said since the official ********** dealership said my claim was $5k they needed an inspector to come out. That was last Monday. The inspector didnt go see the car till Thursday now its the following Monday and the inspector hasn't even submitted the claim paperwork. There has to be a better process than this. Ive been without my car for two weeks and they dont even cover rental cars until they authorize the claim. So this whole two weeks they are taking to verify what the service department of the dealership said isnt even covered in rental car reimbursement. I have a Range Rover so everything is thousands when it needs to be repaired. But unfortunately the cost of the repair triggered an inspector and that means that Im delayed another whole week for this inspector process. My dealership says this is very slow compared to other extended warranty companies!!!GWC Warranty

I can give no stars. I purchased a used vehicle and with it GWC Warranty GWC Warranty's "Powertrain Plus" plan. When attempting to have work done, the very reputable vehicle repair facility attempted earnestly to inform *** that all requested repairs fell under the specific coverage within the Powertrain Plus plan. The repair facility indicated to me that GWC was less than helpful and oddly denied claims for seemingly covered repairs, customer service was not at all helpful with the disputes over parts and labor costs; and in fact, aside from the deductible, GWC only offered to pay for $114 of a nearly $1500 repair, all of which the automotive repair facility deemed should fall under covered repairs fell. This warranty company is a sham as it preys on those who have depended on warranties to protect themselves from unexpected costs. It really is a disservice to other reputable warranty companies that are honest and ******* about their duty to protect the consumer. I do not recommend this company as an insurance policy for anyone purchasing a new or used vehicle. Their ethics and moral compass has obviously been compromised by greed.Review fromDeb B

I will give zero stars. The 'escalation' department is completely useless. After spending thousands on the warranty, they deny covered services without explanation. They do not have an escalation path to speak to anyone in a leadership position. They should not be allowed to do business. I encourage you to do your homework and do not spend your money with this organization. BBB, please rethink your rating. This company, at best, is shady. I'd lean more toward fraudulent, but in either case this is an absolute buyer beware situation. Do not give them your business.GWC Warranty
