STAY AWAY. Read your contract very carefully. I ran into an issue where I paid about $*****.00 for a warranty and their service is terrible. They will not use OEM parts and will not cover the entire cost of the labor. For a repair I still had to pay $3,900 out of pocket. **************** is terrible unless you reach out to upper management. ( ***************** at gwcwarranty.com, jvirgoe at gwcwarranty.com, jv at gwcwarranty.com, *************** at gwcwarranty.com, seisenfelder at apcoholdings.com, jlee at apcoholdings.com, jvirgoe at apcoholdings.com ) Those emails will work. And after such a terrible experience I decided to sell my car from such a bad taste in my mouth. When I got my refund I was able to get 20% of my ***** purchase. Mind you the warranty was for 36 months and I kept the car about 8 months. Scamy company that does not stand by their word and does every little trick to try to bleed money from their customers.

This company will not honor my sons warranty on HIS truck that is in his own name (no cosigners) because, now get this, he lives at home with us and we have a small trucking company, 1 peterbilt semi. They are claiming his truck is a commercial vehicle because of our small business. We have had 2 vehicles warrantied previously, so they have our name and address in their system. Even though I have tried, begged and pleaded with them to listen to me, even offered to send them proof that my son has nothing to do with our business, or his truck. I can prove he works 6 days a week, 12 hours a day an hour from home. They will not listen. They just keep telling me he has to call the dealership and 'upgrade' to a commercial policy..WHY?? His truck is NOT commercial!! I tried and tried to speak to a manager, supervisor, anyone who can please listen to what I am saying, and my answer from customer service was "None of the managers or supervisors want to speak to you"...I swear I was not even in the least unpleasant or vulgar....terrible terrible company! And to think, up until today I was 100% all about getting the warranty, told all my friends and family to make sure they got it...never ever again!!

If I could provide a negative rating I would! One of the perks in purchasing my vehicle was the symbol LED lighting in the grill. Three years later I found out that the LED lighting was an aftermarket that was drawing from my battery, causing it to malfunction. Over 3.5 years of driving this car my battery drained. *** ***************** disconnected the electrical wiring which caused the malfunction and GWC will not reimburse me my $363.24 because they stated it was not an OEM part! AND that the only disconnected the wires, which is electrical service! HOW would a consumer NO what is or is not an OEM part during their initial purchase of a vehicle? I then took the car to ******** dealership who charges $190 for diagnostic test and found the the wiring which is electrical (Suppose to be covered by GWC) drained my battery cells. Which cost me an additional $384 for a replacing the battery.I call fraudulent coverage regarding electrical coverage from GWC.

Worst company I have ever had to deal with. My car is at a shop going on 10 weeks now. They keep asking for more take downs of the motor when in the surface I did nothing wrong to have the motor fail. On top of that its taking the shop weeks to do what they ask because they are backed up. I am $3000 down in the shop just tearing the motor apart for the pictures the *** needs to see and if they deny my claim I lose my car too. This is the worst experience Ive ever been through.

Worst company ever. They never answer calls and when they do they have no answers. My mechanic has to call to make claims and they refuse everything the mechanic says is wrong. Even if they agree to fix my car(5 weeks running now) I will incur so many out of pocket costs it makes it not worth the hassle to fix. I will be paying half of what the car is worth just on our of pocket expenses that are only there because this warranty company takes too long to make decisions and denies everything that is claimed. I drove my car for 2 months, well before the first oil change and they tell my mechanic that it's a user error. As in I must have put the wrong oil in. Meanwhile the 5 days of rental that is covered is well past so it just adds to my out of pocket expenses. 0 stars if I could. And be warned. Stay away

If I could give negative stars, I would! Beware of this company! Im dealing with them right now with my *** X5, purchased used a year ago with about 68K miles. ******** told me not to buy it, but I needed a SUV type car. I bought the extended warranty for the powertrain, everything under the engine and what makes it run. I felt safe with my decision and went on my way. A year later, about 10K miles added, the solenoid has issues and the mechanic contacts GWC and they said its not covered (even though in my contract it says the solenoid it is), and that if it was the timing belt, it would be. I took the hit and paid 2Gs to get it fixed, but 2 weeks later while driving, engine malfunction again. This time mechanic says its the timing belt, calls the warranty and finally, after several days, they refuse to cover it again. (About 8-9Gs to fix) They told the mechanic that they would need to do a complete tear down, before sending an inspector to give their biased opinion, and give their final verdict, or they even suggested that I should keep driving it until it runs deadWTF!?! So after putting my life on the line for 16 years in the military, you want me to put my life, as well as random peoples on the road, on the line and to keep driving it until it just dies? What kind of company says s*** like that? I will be definitely lawyering up as well as reporting them to FTC for fraud! And all the work that is required to fix my car is all listed in my contract, verbatim on whats covered and why it wouldnt be covered (most times from personal neglect which I havent done) Word of advice, keep all documents when purchasing warranties because they want you to lose it!
