  My husband has an active warranty with GWC Warranty, and we recently filed a claim for vehicle repairs totaling $800. However, *** has only approved $181.64 for the repairs.When we contacted *** for clarification, we were told the reimbursement amount was based on the use of MSRP parts and "Market Labor Rates" for our area. However, upon reviewing our warranty contract, there is no mention of such restrictions. The contract clearly states that covered components are fully covered, with no stipulation about reimbursement limits tied to MSRP or labor market rates. This practice is misleading and unfair to consumers. We purchased this warranty in good faith, expecting it to cover repair costs as outlined. GWCs arbitrary reimbursement criteria result in significant out-of-pocket expenses for the policyholder and render the warranty virtually useless. I believe GWC Warranty is engaging in deceptive business practices by imposing limitations not disclosed in the contract. These actions undermine consumer trust and violate the terms of the agreement. This experience leads me to strongly discourage anyone from purchasing a warranty from ***. I urge the BBB to investigate GWC Warrantys practices to ensure transparency and fairness for all consumers. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I believe a class-action lawsuit may be warranted to address the widespread harm caused by **** practices.

  I have been waiting for a refund since May. This is ridiculous they dont answer calls or return voicemails.

  I would stay far away from this so called warranty company. Spend over 3 grand on the policy and my claims where submitted and everything got denied. Tell your friends and family to not buy thier policy!!

  I would not recommend this warranty company. We have been trying for over 8 months to get someone to mail us our overpayment for the portion of unused warranty. Every time we call, we just get a run around. I have requested that a manager reach out to me to try and resolve, and still no one has contacted me. They do not honor the contract we signed, so our next step is reaching out to our attorney.**** *****

  Beware of this company! They give a large list of items they cover in the warranty agreement, but when it comes time to pay, hardly any of the items qualify. My car had a cam carrier leak, and that didn't qualify. There was a cooling system leak, but that didn't qualify. The front axle boots were torn with grease leaking out, but that didn't qualify. What qualifies, in reality, is hardly anything! I paid over a thousand dollars for nothing. Beware of this company!

  This product is a rip off! It deserves less than a zero. DO NOT PURCHASE. We purchased this product a year ago with a third family vehicle mostly driven by our child in college. 1. They refused our to pay out the first time we tried to use it.2. We went online and found out we could cancel the policy and get a pro rata amount credited to our auto loan. We had 36 months and 15k miles left on our warranty and GWC would only credit our account for $540 (on a policy we paid $2,800 for a year ago)!Do not waste your money on this product. The $2,800 WE PAID GWC IS MORE THAN THE WORK PERFORMED ON THE **** If we had kept our $2,800 we would have been better off.NEVER AGAIN!!

  Will never buy again. They keep asking for more and more records to approve my claim. I went a week without my truck, had to pay diagnostic costs out of my own cost to get my truck back. Im never buying an extended warranty ever again, and would certainly never use this company ever again. Ill be fixing my truck myself.

  I purchased the ultra plan which is suppose to be good. Not so. Truck needs a new transmission and warranty wants to put a no name brand in my ***** truck. I have ****** miles and the warranty on there transmission will be until I hit ****** miles which will take me 2 weeks to do. And also the mechanic shop called to tell me that they will not pay there hourly rate so I will owe $430. Warranty told me I'd I want the gm transmission I would have to pay the difference of $2700. Yeah ok!!!! The gm transmission coles with a 3 year ******* mile warranty. It can be just me that thinks this is not right and pretty much I consider this to be a scam. This isn't American at all.
