    I ordered a bag of 100 **** track joining pins. The photo on the web site was of a brand new, never used pin. The description for the item says CONDITION - NEW REPRODUCTION https://www.trainz.com/products/lionel-o27-gauge-steel-track-pin-6 The bag of 100 that I received had approx. 10 new pins and the rest were used, with at least 50% of those too corroded to be usable at all.I received the following response after contacting them...I am sorry what you received is a bit different than what was listed. We pull by the part number, not the photo. No photos appear on the packing slip/order. As you can imagine, with these being old, original items that we have been fortunate enough to get our hands on, they come in all types of condition. No two are alike. It would not be cost effective to photograph every single one.The description doesn't say they are old/used. It says (and the photo shows) that they are NEW REPRODUCTIONS. It is a universal standard of retail commerce that if a photo is provided of what is being sold, it is expected to be representative of what will be received unless it states otherwise in the description. Especially when the description of condition matches the photo.The fact that the bag did contain a few brand new pins strongly implies that a conscious effort was made to include a few of what was shown in the product description though the explanation that will likely be given will be that the bin they generate bags from has new and used mixed together. That would make little sense.I can not in good conscious do business with a company that from the outside (to this customer anyway) appears to be using deceptive practices. ****** Learned....... first and last time ordering from Trainz

    In the last year I have had four transactions with Trainz and all went well with no billing or shipping issues. Products purchased were as advertised. Good selection of LGB. Their website is pretty busy but once you get used to its features it really helps you find what you are looking for.
