    Most purchases I have made from Trainz were good.However they are the only hobby shop that make you pay taxes that is out of state.I live in ******** and they are in Georgia and they make me pay ******** taxes.Yes they are the only hobby shop out of my state that makes me pay taxes.I shop all over ***************** and trainz is the only hobby shop that makes me pay Illinos taxes.That is why I do not shop at Trainzthat much now.

    Website is well done and also holds a lot of trains for sale along with parts as well. AWESOME DEALS and allowed me to finally get the train I was looking for at a very reasonable price. Will be doing more shopping and business with them.Also the train arrived in a timely manner and was like what the pictures and writing said as well.

    Very good quality items in the *********** War and MPC brackets. Everything I have bought from Trainz has met or exceeded my expectations. I t is a sign of the times, but the shipping costs are too high.

    The website is well-organized and easy to search. Prices are generally at or just below market retail. Honestly, the only thing preventing a 5-star rating is sometimes the shipping costs are a bit excessive for the items purchased. Overall, though, Trainz is a great website to buy from.

    I have made numerous purchases from Trainz over the years and met many of the players at some big train meets. Although we had a few differences in years passed, all were minor and were resolved to my satisfaction. I visit their web site regularly and continue to make purchases from them. Conditions on some pieces could be a little overstated, but photos have always been clear and well lit, permitting my own assessment of condition. Many of these resulted in a purchase. My questions have always been answered directly and not vague.

    I got a HO scale NJCB Reading 2-8-8-0 steam loco w/o a box. Of course, it was well wrapped and thanks God arrived w/o any damage but I was expecting for a $1300.00 model there should be another box w/foam rubber for good protection. Once I got it, I immediately took a nice box and cut foam rubber to satisfy the new owner who ordered it thru me.On their website I could not place the order because I am overseas. They should mention having a possibility on **** for intl. orders. So, I had to find a freight forwarder in ******* who shipped it to ***********. That was the only way I could place the order with an US address.Anyway, the model is here and my customer is pleased with it.
