      The company is a scam and unethical. Had a credit card by them and always paid the balance off or made payments higher than minimum payment. Due to being a victim of hurricane ******, I simply forgot to make a payment. I had no power for 2 weeks, lost al my food, children lost all of their toys. Once I realize I missed a payment I called customer service to report the issue. The representative was rude but he said they had a program for victims of the hurricane where we did not have to pay for that month and all late fees would be reversed. Due to his negligence m, he never notated my account or enrolled me in the program. A month later they closed my account for none payment. When I explained the entire situation they seen I was telling the truth about the day I called but nothing they could due because of the representative negligence. Stay away from this company they are to eager to close an account and hurt your **********************. Representatives do not do their job and blame you in the process.

      They prey for people in hard times I was affected by the hurricane and now I am struggling to make payments on time they do not care as I have still been charged late fees and high interest fees I closed the account and will be paying them off worst credit card ever.

      I had a line of credit converted to a credit card without my consent. ******* took a $4000 9% with a $1800 chart line of credit and moved it to a $2000 credit card with a 27% interest rate. Now my credit took a hit for no reason. I would never have opened my line of credit if I would have none this. Never again will I ever open a line of credit or do any business with this company

      DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT Do any Business with this Company. If you fall on hard times or have a sudden medical issue they WILL NOT WORK with you. I have made very effort there is to make my payment, it may not have been the minimum payment however I paid something. Then when I was able, shortly after that, I paid all the late fees and payment to get the account current. ******************** went behind my back and closed the acct. I have kept ****************** informed of my situation, and yet THEY CLOSED THE ***** I feel that is is so wrong. Other companies will at least work with you, NOT AT ASPIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO THEY DONT, if you dont make your minimum payment, but a smaller one instead, THEY WILL CLOSE THE **** AND NOT NOTIFY YOU THEY DID THAT. I found out when I checked the balance that the acct was closed. So I contacted them again, and asked why. They said because the minimum payment wasnt made, I explained to them that this is what i could only afford then. Again, REFUSED TO WORK WITH ME. SO PLEASE, DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY

      they charged me for purchases i never made and wouldnt allow a claim to be filed by me about these unauthorized transactions. I am very responsible about budgeting and after 16 years of credit cards without any overdrafts or late payments this company reported an overdrawn account on my report when it was due to fraud. despicable.

      ***************** I find myself navigating a particularly challenging and somewhat frustrating situation that has recently come to light. A few months ago, I received a communication from a creditor regarding a payment demand for an account I had officially closed some time ago ( October 2023). Although I had followed the proper procedures to close this account and believed everything was settled, the creditor is now insisting that I owe them money, and they have even imposed late fees, which feels unjust. This entire ordeal has turned into a puzzling conundrum, leaving me perplexed about the claims being made against me. To take a proactive approach, I've decided to escalate the matter by filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I sincerely hope that this action will lead to a resolution in the near future. I firmly believe that open communication is essential in resolving disputes like this one, and I remain optimistic that involving the BBB will shed light on the legitimacy of their claims regarding my closed account.Then they said, "You can pay this amount, and then we can close the account." The communication that I received from them was a bill, and I called about it. They said, "Well, it's not close, so you have to pay this bill."

      Horrible credit card company and customer service. I recently started military benefits due to my service back in June 2024 and they had terminated them in September 2024. Now I have a bigger payment due in October, which I am late for due to the fact that they did not honor my military benefits. They were supposed to last as long as I am still active duty, which I am. I have already explained that to them and they still expect me to make the payments, as well as deal with the late fees even though they were the ones that screwed up. Absolutely horrible business practices. I will be paying this balance off and closing this account

      Fortiva Retail Credit are crooks. They are charging me $316 interest on defective furniture I purchased from Furniture Row in *********** instead of the lesser value furniture I ended up with after TWO sets of the defective item. I dont mind paying legitimate interest but should not have to pay it on something I dont even own.

      I would be very wary (an understatement) of this company. I financed a home product through ******* a few years ago and recent they opened up a $10,000.00 line of credit and sent a card to me without ANY approval. After reaching out to the company they said they sent an email (probably went to junk) and since I didn't respond it implied consent. I don't know what this company thinks is consent but in the real world a lack of response does in no way give you right to draw credit lines (or any consent for that matter). As an average consumer, I was absolutely floored that a company would do something like this and if it isn't outright illegal it should be. After talking with customer service at ******* they said there was nothing they could do and I had to keep the credit card and line of credit (willing to post emails from them to verify). Bottom line they single handedly opened lines of credit under my name and SSN without any consent and they can't fix it?Went through a third party to close the credit account since ******* stated they cannot close the account they opened without any consent. Unfortunately it affected my credit score but this situation would have never happened had ******* not opened unauthorized accounts.AVOID this business at all costs. In my experience they are the poster child of why the population doesn't trust the banking and credit industry.
