      Fortiva scams people and pray on seniors. They have refused to send me a hard copy of an agreement that I said I would pay ***** vs the ****** they billed me at. No one will help.

      I opened a Fortiva Retail account through Badcock Furniture. I asked what my payment would cal out to while I was at the store and was told my payment would be less that what it came in as on the statement. I made my purchase and when I got my first statement I was shocked at the almost $75 difference between what I was told and what it was. I then called Fortiva and asked if I were to make a large payment on it if my monthly payment would decrease and was told yes. I told them how much I was going to pay and was told my payment would be around $75.00. I just received my next statement with no new purchases and the payment amount never changed. Upon calling them again they said no your payment wouldnt change. Even after me telling them that I had a text from their company stating otherwise. I would NEVER and will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Theyre crooks and they change there stories to suit their needs NOT the needs of their customers. Crooked business practice.

      Fortiva is FRAUD!! They get access to your account and close it immediately making you believe you were just approved for $400 and you can use fund but then card declined when you try. I used their chat support and its so robotic I was talking with ****** and he kept saying I apologize for the inconvenience then they addressed me as Mr. *** also said they closed for using over the limit I was in shock?! Said what do you mean if I never used the card? Then he said sorry for the typo it was for inactivity ??. HORRIBLE CREDIT CARD DO NOT GET!!!! They wont connect you with a supervisor

      This company closed my account for no reason. Always in good standing and made double payments some months to have it paid early for the next month. Said I missed one payment and then closed my account. **************** is a f****** joke and ran by a call center whose reps barely speak English

      This experience has been a NIGHTMARE!!! I purchased a home security with Vivint.Vivint chose Fortiva Retail Credit. I've had this account about 3 years, haven't missed a payment because I enrolled in auto draft payments. Unfortunately in December of 2020, my bank informed me that my account was compromised. Understandably it was frozen for investigation and to be resolved. I notified Vivint and Fortiva and gave them the updated bank information to report to the credit bureaus. They assured me that, the accounts were taken care of and reinstated to auto draft payment. I also brought my payments up to date over the phone, that was return for insufficient funds.I had to notify them about 4 more times because, they did not follw through and do what they stated they had done. This company reported to the credit bureau several times, even as recent as May 24, 2022, that I was delinquent in my obligations to pay. Again, they reassured me they contacted the credit bureaus and again stated that I was reinstated to auto draft payments.Their products have not delivered the standard of service promised, i.e. operating from your phone. It tells me that the door is locked, and upon returning home I find the door unlocked. It sends false notifications that someone is opening the back door.I am a disabled senior citizen raising my deceased son's children. I applied to purchase a home and found out from the lender my credit score has severly diminshed due to this situation and I don't qualify.I have PTSD and other conditions and this nightmare has exacerbated my health and escalated my stress level, anxiety, blood pressure and pain.Please help me, I need this situation resolved ASAP before my next surgery.
