      They responded right away and helped organize my move when thr other company canceled on the morning of the move. Arranged for another company to pick up and deliver quickly and stuck to the estimated cost.

      This has been the worst experience I have ever had. We set a pick up and deliver date for our household goods. Pick up was fine but delivery was terrible once we got it. They kept delaying the delivery at least four times. Excuses and lies were told to me each time I called to find out where our furniture was. It was, truck broke down, driver was sick or stuck in traffic. It took 2.5 wks to receive our furniture after, supposedly, flying out a driver to delivery our goods. Even then, we have missing boxes. They stated that if they take apart any furniture that they guarantee to put it back together at the new location. When they arrived, parts were missing and I wound up having to put together the desks and bedframe.I would never recommend this company to anyone planning to move. They deserve an F rating as oppose to the A- listed in BBB.

      We have moved many times and this has been by far the worst moving experience ever.. One truck showed up that they partially loaded, then another truck showed up and everything stopped until they got answer as to which truck they were suppose to load and they had to unload first truck to second truck. The packers broke into my locked jewelry armoire. Destroyed two locks, stole jewelry, and armoire now needs to be replaced. Instead of stacking tubs they turned tubs and boxes upside down breaking items inside. Stacked heavy items on top of boxes marked fragile breaking items inside. Most of our furniture is damaged.. They moved items they were told not to and did not move items they were told to. The truck driver destroyed our front lawn and hit a tree in the yard. We had to pay extra to have everything unloaded from semi to shuttle truck bring to house. Furniture was to be taken apart and packed then at destination put back together. Unfortunately they were not able to find the parts to put beds, dressers, mirrors, dining room table, desk, book cases and curio cabinets together. The truck was not even close close to being full. We had to make another trip to original home to take items that were not suppose to be delivered back and will have to get items that were suppose to be delivered. Hopefully this will save someone else from making the mistake we did in choosing **************************************************

      Everyine was very helpful and nice. They helped answer questions through the whole process. They kept me informed of things and would check to make sure things were going smoothly. The guys that packed us were excellent. Very friendly and they wrapped things very well. We were very pleased with the whole process.

      This was the worst moving experience I have ever encountered. The amount of "miscommunication" and unprofessionalism was unreal. I moved from ** to VT and had called to set up my move almost 2 months prior. I was told that my belongings would not need to be on a tractor trailer and that a "long truck" would be going directly from ** to VT with no other stops. There was plenty of communication leading up to the day of pick up, however, on the scheduled day, they cancelled without a single email notification. I had missed a call from them the evening prior and the voicemail left lacked any detail. My orig. pickup window was from 8am-12pm, I had to call customer service around ******* as I heard nothing. Shortly after that, I was contacted by the drivers, who informed me that my things would be on a tractor trailer, going to multiple locations and that they would be trying to charge me $500 for a shuttle fee. When I tried to state the facts that were given to me upon scheduling, he hung up on me. I then spoke to about 5 different people throughout the day. They showed up 2hrs past the next given pickup window, the next day, because there was no truck available and they had to wait. I put an Air Tag in one of my boxes and every time my moving consultant called me, the location given was not where the truck was, or even close. My drop off window was between 3/11-3/16, they didn't show up until 3/19 around 7pm. When they unloaded my belongings into my storage unit, they put all of my boxes in the very back and most of the big furniture in the front, making it impossible to get to smaller items that I will need. I was charged for added moving materials, and they deducted $200 off my bill before paying, which was basically that added charge and told me it's reimbursement for late fees They are only willing to deduct another $200 for "late fees" and not willing to make any of this right in the eyes of good customer service. My storage unit is a mess that I have to clean up.

      Added chargers, showed up unprepared. Gave an ETA of 12 noon, then showed up at 9pm, and did not leave until 2am, of a ***** with only a woman and a small child. Had to make a second trip. One mover returned in the rain wear slides (backless sandals) and of course ****, while carrying weights and busted his face. Left blood everywhere. I was hung up in twice.

      Colonial Van Lines subcontracted my interstate move to Ortiz LLC at both the address I was moving from and to my new address". My condo would not allow my furniture to be unloaded because Ortiz had no workers’ comp insurance, which I did not know. Ortiz worked out some deal with the condo association and were able to unload my furniture at its destination the next day. Quite a few pieces of furniture were disassembled for the move and were to be reassembled upon delivery. Ortiz flatly refused to reassemble my furniture and I had to hire other people, at extra cost, to come and do that. Some pieces of furniture arrived broken, glass in some pictures was shattered, and some drawers from a secretary are missing (which cannot be replaced). I have not yet finished unpacking all the boxes so I don’t know what else can be missing/broken! It’s hard to believe companies like Colonial would hire movers with no workers’ comp insurance and that their workers would refuse to do something they were contractually obligated to do! After I made several requests for copies of the contract I signed, Colonial to this day refuses to send me copies of those contracts. I should have checked them out with BBB first! Valuable lesson learned! DO NOT hire this company!!

      I used ************************************************* to move from ******** to ******* , my initial estimates was for ****** dollars, when I got to ******* they charged me another **** dollars if I didn't pay they wouldn't give my stuff back, they kept saying they found billable stuff like packing but I was charged **** for packing in **. Pleaase do not use this company ,they are brokers not movers

      Was a nightmare things broken corners smashed wood tables severally scratched pictures broken glass broken things missing boxes filled with hundreds of crickets my wife ******* broken never again will use this company or recommend them no respect for my items we had things that was not ours driver would not take back just left it
