I have needed to disable DNSSEC for over a week now, and this is how it's going:I've had 3 separate people tell me that Bluehost was NOT my registrar. I had to go find out the Network Solutions was a sister company, and that is why it is listed on my Whois. I had to argue with people to convince them they were my registrar so we could move forward.I was told Bluehost has nothing to do with name servers.I was told Bluehost doesn't have the capability of disabling DNSSEC. That I would have to contact my hosting company.I've been told twice that a supervisor was not available to me, and the second time was told that I would be put on a call list in order to speak to a supervisor. That supervisor never called. When I finally did speak with a supervisor, she also did not have the knowledge needed to help me.It seems to me that Bluehost does everything in its power to shield its client base from actual, knowledgeable tech support.

I've been with Bluehost for over 6 years and in February of this year renewed with them for the third time. All that time, they've been reliable, and any time I've had an issue, I could get a helpful person on the phone. But in September 2023, they informed me via email that instead of grandfathering me in with the plan I've had for years, they are going to impose storage limits on a tiered basis, and my basic plan won't cover the amount of storage I've built up on my photo-heavy travel blog over 6 years. The rate has climbed for each 3-year renewal, in Feb it was around $360, and now, not even a third of the way into my contract, they want *$677* MORE in order to keep hosting my blog for the remainder of my term. Renewal after that is almost $1000! They informed me in late September for a change that will take place Nov. 1. Not on my next renewal date, but part way through my current contract. I don't understand how this is even legal, and it certainly feels unethical. They've basically taken my blog hostage until I pay up. It goes without saying that they've lost my trust. Who's to say that in another 6 months, they won't demand another pay increase? They can just break the hosting contract at any time. I would have understood if this were announced months in advance of my next renewal, but to do it mid-contract is despicable, and on such short notice. My only solutions will cost me more than I've already paid - either a higher tier, moving to a different host, or finding off-site storage. Right here during high inflation and heading into the holiday season. I'm screwed - I just don't have the money. I planned for the renewal fee, but an out-of-the-blue extra hundreds of dollars? For me, that means 6 years of work down the drain, just like that. What a terrible thing to do to your customers. Bluehost should be ashamed of themselves.

I didn't even get to sign up with them because their special new user signup was for $4.95/** for 12 months. That's all fine then at the end of the 12 months it goes back to normal pricing. That is fine. What they fail to advertise anywhere is that you have to pay an annual rate, not monthly payments. This is not anywhere on the signup page or at check out. Thankfully I looked further into it and went to their agent for help. They didn't even help they just kept talking about how the price goes back up after 12 months. I said that has nothing to do with what I asked. I didn't get any help or advice at all. This is a terrible business and I will not be using a service provider that has false marketing.

Terrible customer service led me to cancel web hosting and website migration service within 24 hours of purchase and before it could occur. I am getting the runaround on obtaining a refund of $150 for a website migration service that never occurred and that I had reservations about anyway. I have sent multiple emails about my desire to cancel, but they are ignoring my requests and the texts of my emails. I will have to contact the credit card company to get it straightened out.

My list of grievances with iPage is far, far too long to fit in one review. They have done irreparable harm to myself and my organization. They should be shut down.

WOW! I guess I should have looked at this review site before doing business with this horrible company. Like many others I turned off my auto renew and was charged anyway. Then I called to cancel and was told it was alllll canceled. Then today over a month later I was charged again. This company is awful do not use them or cancel your credit card when you want to cancel or they will charge you anyway.

Been a dotster customer for over 20 years. However, their service has plummeted in the last several months. It got worse after they decided to go with only chat service - no more telephone or email support. *******'s email hosting servers frequently get blocked by ****** and ********* because of insufficient security.

As you can tell from these jerks F rating, I'm one of many who have been screwed over by these shysters. I had intentionally set my domain NOT to auto-update but they did anyway, to the sum of $89. A ridiculous amount to pay for a domain name. S**** you Bluehost!
