      No live customer support available! No matter what number you call or what option you select you can only get automated pre-recorded responses to preset issues. If you have an issue that doesn't fit a category you can't talk to a live agent. Not only that but I was forced to take an EV vehicle which I have never driven and was very uncomfortable with because they said they were out of other cars and it was my only option. When I reserve the car it was managers choice but at no point in my contract or in the reservation did it state that an EV was an option it only listed sizes. Their own paperwork states that you should never drive a car you are not comfortable with. This presents a dangerous situation for both the driver the car and others on the road I am a senior citizen and agents were rude and condescending about the fact that I was nervous taking a type of car that I had never driven

      I reserved a car for 2:30 ************** the **** took longer than expected and I ended up getting to hertz around 3:08. I was unaware that they closed at 3. When I got to the front the door was locked and there were two black women in the front. I knocked on the door and they didnt even bother to acknowledge me. It was like I was completely invisible. I knocked a couple more times and they just kept attending to vacuuming and walking around like I didnt exist. I ended up spending another 30 mins standing outside, looking for another car rental company to accommodate me and wait for my ****. I understand that they were closed but to not even acknowledge my presence or anything was so heartbreaking.

      Rented a car 3 days in advance to go out of state to see a family member before she passed away. Get to the airport and they told me that they had no car available for me, even though they took my money out of my account. The *** told me to cancel my reservation and my money would be refunded immediately but it wasnt. Call customer service and it is ridiculously hard to actually speak to a person. When I finally got through they Informed me that I wouldnt receive my funds for 7 to 10 days since the payment has already been processed but why did they process it when there was no car? Also they somehow managed to refund me $15 after my payment was processed so I don't understand. Now I am driving my very old high mile vehicle from ******** to *********. This is not ok. Very unprofessional and very deceitful.

      HERTZ CORPORTATION IS NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR! RENTAL AT **************** LOCATION AND AT TIME OF PICKING UP RENTAL CAR THAT IT WAS NOT IN MINT CONDITION AND HAD PREEXISTING SCRATCHES/DENTS.. RETURN OF RENTAL CAR HERTZ EMAILED ME TO FALSELY ACCUSED ME OF AN ACCIDENT THAT CAUSED A SCRAPE AT FRONT BUMPER. MY HUSBAND AND ADULT SON WERE WITH ME THE ENTIRE TIME AND CAN ATTEST THAT THERE WAS NEVER AN ACCIDENT WITH THE RENTAL CAR. I TRIED CALLING HERTZ CLAIM, PRIORTIY #, CUSTOMER SVC AND NO ANSWER (2 HRS TRYING TO REACH SOMEONE). I AM A MEMBER OF HERTZ GOLD PLUS, AAA PLUS, WITH AN EXCELLENT DRIVING RECORD AND I AM ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED AT BEING FALSELY ACCUSED OF AN ACCIDENT. THIS FALSE ACCUSATION BY HERTZ HAS CAUSED ME EXTREME STRESS AND DURESS! WHEN RETURNING RENTAL CAR, THE 2 HERTZ AGENTS WERE BUSY TALKING WITH EACH OTHER AND DID NOT CARE ABOUT CHECKING RENTAL CAR & SAID LEAVE KEYS IN CAR. SUGGESTION FOR HERTZ TO HAVE THEIR AGENTS CHECK/DOCUMENT THE RENTAL CAR "BEFORE" THEY RENT IT OUT (TO NOTE PREEXISTING SCRATCH/DENTS/BALD TIRES/BAD BREAKS ON CAR). SUGGESTION TO FUTURE CAR RENTERS TO PHOTO RENTAL CAR ALL SIDES FOR YOUR PROTECTION OR TAKE YOUR CAR RENTAL BUSINESS TO A BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE ********************** CAR COMPANY THAT DOES NOT FALSELY ACCUSE YOU OF ACCIDENTS. CAR RENTERS BEWARE OF HERTZ!

      Let me preface this by stating the outcome. I had a rental car for 3 days, picked up Friday at 3, returned Monday at 10 am. The car was given to me with a nail in the tire, which is noticeable in inspection photos. For those 3 days, they still charged me $170 out of $300 for the week. I didnt get to drive the car past Saturday afternoon, yet thats all I get back?!?! Worst customer service ever. Close in the middle of the day, for an hour long meeting, not allowing pick up or drop off. I got the car Friday, within hours had the tire light come on. They were closed, and didnt send maintenance portal until 2 am Monday. Monday I called and spoke to ***** who is incredibly rude, accusatory, and unprofessional. I informed her of the nail in tire and battery issue, she put me on hold for 5 minutes to review the inspection and tell me it probably happened while I was driving. I hung up and came in to her continuing her attitude, letting me wait while she was doing random tasks. I waited for ***, because Im not dealing with her. While sitting waiting, I view inspection photos, where the nail is visible!!!! They refuse to refund, or swap vehicle. ******** worst company ever!!

      I am absolutely appalled by the complete unprofessional experience that I received from the Hertz car rental location at *** ****** **** *** ** ********* ********. To start with I reserved a car online one week before my rental was to take place. When I get to the Hertz rental counter. I was given a Kia Soul as my rental car . I explained that I had reserved a full size premium sedan and question why I was getting a Kia soul. She rudely said that that’s all we have and asked do you want the car or not? When I explained I had reserved it a week prior online she said well. website is wrong. We don't have premium sedans . The gentleman sitting next to her, saw that I was becoming frustrated and said check back in two days and I will find you something better to drive. I had no choice but to leave in the tiny box car Kia soul. On the second day I went back to hopefully change out the car for what I had actually reserved a week prior and was told they had nothing to offer and maybe check back tomorrow. I drove up the street to ********** ********** and they were more than pleasant. Said they absolutely had a full size sedan that I could have immediately and apologized for what I had experienced From Hertz. I gassed up the the Kia Soul and took it back to Hertz and explained since they could not fulfill their contract. I was going to just simply return the car pay for the two days that I drove their car and call it good. . The man behind the counter could have cared less that I was returning the car and going else ware. He proceeded with my closing out of the contract and then handed me a receipt for more than double the amount on my rental agreement.. When I questioned the dollar amount going from $28 a day to $70 a day he said well it’s because you canceled your contract. I said the only reason I canceled my contract is because Hertz could not provide the car that I had reserved. He said that’s not my problem because you broke the contract we have to charge more

      Car was nice but my rental agreement was a weekly rate, with $39 for each day over the week & unlimited mileage. I needed to return car to different location based on flight cancellation so tried calling the local number to clarify any issues with extending rental & could not get a live person. Long story shorter - returning a day later to a different location cost me $400+. Original agreement was $342, out the door charge was $758. Called customer service at 800 number and was told they could not remove as it was a valid charge. Unless they make this right, I will not rent with them again personally or through business.

      I am writing this review regarding an unsatisfactory and potentially fraudulent experience with Hertz Rental Car. Hertz has wrongly accused me of damaging a rental vehicle and is refusing to refund my $500 security deposit, which I was unexpectedly required to pay simply because I used a debit card instead of a credit card. I rented a vehicle from Hertz and only drove it to and from the airport. I did not hit anything or cause any damage to the car. Within 20 minutes of returning the car, I received a text message claiming the vehicle was damaged. I immediately walked back to the rental location to see the alleged damage. However, Hertz employees refused to let me see the car, stating that they do not handle disputes in person and that I would have to email someone instead. Hertz later sent a photo of a small scratch on the tire rim and claimed that I owed $226 for the damage, which is completely unreasonable and appears to be a scam. One of the Hertz employees even admitted that they have been doing this to a lot of people lately. Hertz is now refusing to refund my $500 security deposit, even though I returned the car in the same condition I received it. Hertz has shown no effort to resolve this issue fairly and has instead engaged in what appears to be a deceptive and predatory business practice. I am requesting the full refund of my $500 security deposit and that Hertz be held accountable for falsely accusing customers of damage they did not cause. I wish I could give ZERO stars!

      My privacy was violated at Enterprise Car Rental at ******************** in ****************. The clerk took my cellphone out my hand before I knew it she was scroll through my cellphone without my permission. When I complained the supervisor did not apology and treated me like she had a right to go through my cellphone without my permission. Please monitor your treatment at this Enterprise Car Rental and post your bad experience. Im quite sure Im not the only one who received this form of treatment. .
