      OK...I have used On-Tech twice, and both times, the service and skills presented were absolutely 5 star. Not sure if the other reviewers got the quality of technician that I did, but I was more than satisfied with the work performed. CSA

      Wish I could do zero stars.. after my experience I am not surprised one bit by all of these awful reviews. Absolutely horrible customer service, they do not listen, they are a complete waste of time and should NOT be a service offered. Long story short they completely butchered my installation order request THREE times.. and thats just the beginning. Seriously, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

      I paid for this company to help install a simplisafe system to my home. First, they showed up at the wrong address without warning. So, I spoke with the tech and someone they contacted over the phone to correct this and reschedule for the following day. Flash forward, today I called 5 times over a 3hr period. 1) the tech never came. 2) apparently there was a cyber attack that crippled their system that they did not alert me to prior to or following purchase of service. 3) the person I spoke with to correct and reschedule didnt actually do their job. 4) not at any point during the 5 phone calls was I told that the appointment correction wasnt even in the system (which could have saved me 3hrs of my time instead of waiting for something non-existent. 5) they offered no financial compensation back for the trouble. 6) They REFUSED to allow me access to a supervisor or manager. 7) They have no way of actually tracking techs. 8) They contract out to 3rd parties to do installs but have no communication with the 3rd party verbally or in writing so no actual way to help resolve. Im fairly certain their lack of disclosure, ineffective procedures, and inability to resolve customer concerns is highly unethical and potentially illegal. As an aside, If you have a cyber attack that prohibits you from functioning as a company that should be publicized, and not used as a shield only after you fall short with a customer.

      They appear to have gone out of business. I've tried to book a service for the last couple of weeks. Their website is not accepting credit card payments, and there is no customer service available. It's unbelievable to me that these guys are still being referred by *******

      Purchased an "Annual Maintenance" agreement a little less than a year ago. Have had a tech out to our house twice. We have purchased ****** Mesh and numerous cameras through OnTech. Just had to replace our Wifi router in the home and noticed several cameras are not working. Called OnTech only to find they are not in business any longer. Frustrated.

      Ontech came out initially to install about 8 Ring devices. The technician that came out advised us to return the battery-powered cameras for the wired ones so that we do not have to constantly charge the battery. The technician said that we have a credit installation for 4 devices because we ended up taking back the ones we didn't need for the ones we needed. When I called them back to get a new installation date the recording says they are experiencing technical issues. Almost 2 months later to this date and they are still experiencing technical issues. I just want my credit ************* on at this point. It's about a $400 credit. Oddly enough, Ring recommended them initially and they started out great. When I called Ring back, they have no knowledge of who Ontech was.

      I purchased a ****** Nest Wifi Doorbell with a Video Security Camera from Amazon using Amazon Home Services to install the DoorbelI. The Amazon Home Services technician, after installation of the Wifi doorbell, talked me into buying two two ****** Nest Thermostats through a third party called Ontech. Via telephone I paid Ontech for the thermostats and installation services for a total of $772.89. The Amazon Home Services installer left the thermostats and indicated Ontech would call me to arrange a time to install. As I never received a call, I tried calling them a number of times over a period of a few weeks with a recorded message indicating they were having technical problems.

      ontech , received over $600 from me to install a wired camera and doorbell. One installation was to be free. They installed a doorbell, took them over two hours, they brought the wrong camera twice, seems like they never got the order straight. Their service lady told me that the camera was wired and battery, that never showed up. so a month later they refunded me for the camera. Still can't speak to anyone at ontech or reach them on line. I feel my free install should be the doorbell, its the only thing they did install. And by the way ontech is owned by dish. Ontech said they were hacked and that might just be that they have lost some customer information. I think if that happened we should have the option to cancel the $199.99 we paid for this nonsence.ON TECH NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED

      Same situation as others, OnTech charged me for installation of Nest Doorbell and their entire system went down due to cyber breach. Installer never showed up. I emailed company, because their phone is unavailable, but now even email is unavailable. That was 2 weeks ago. This is unacceptable. A company should have better systems in place to operate after a crisis.
