Terrible customer service. You try to use the chat feature on the website...they direct you to call. You call and the agents give you incorrect information. You ask for a supervisor and you get hung up on. I have an unactivated line that is about 2 weeks old. It has not been used. I have requested to cancel - which they "cannot" do and they will not refund the cost of the line. This is due to not getting my device (went return to sender) and not being able to order the same phone at the advertised price. I have been with Boost for over 10 years. I haven't had many issues, but whenever I do it is nearly impossible to resolve with the agents. You only get scripted responses and passive aggressive fake niceness. I am cancelling my service and moving to another carrier. I would warn anyone looking to use boost that it is cheap for a reason, because there is NO support.Review fromEuarina C

I tried cancelling this account and even deleted my payment information and they still charged my account without my authorization. I called customer service who said they don't give refunds and they didn't charge my account but I have proof they did. They then tried to say I didn't delete my account after they admitted the debit card was not on the account. They lied several times trying to cover up the unauthorized use of an account I no longer have access to. I would not recommend this company to anyone.Review fromDavid S

When we decided to cancel our accounts and go with another carrier in November, they conveniently "missed" that we wanted to cancel our accounts (even though my husband was on the phone for several hours with the process of switching) and then charged us for two months. When we called in January, they kept my husband on the phone for over an hour, refused to refund those two months (because they had no "proof" that we had canceled), and rather than listening and canceling, they kept trying to give us offers rather-despite the fact that we have had a different carrier for two months already. The run-around brought my normally sweet and calm husband (who is a nurse and well-practiced in defusing tension) to the point of shouting obscenities into the phone at the customer service representatives over the refusal to refund the two months and repeatedly yelling "PLEASE JUST CANCEL MY ACCOUNTS." It was an awful experience and makes us wish we had canceled when Republic switched to Boost.Review fromRachel A

After getting sim cards in the mail and trying to activate them i called and was told that the phones are not compatible. And now they refuse to refund my money. They want me 2 buy different phones. If I could give a 0 stars I would. Worst phone providers ever. From lies to promises to fraud. On November 18, 2024, I went to a boosmobile store. I purchased a new phone and ask for the activation to be with the $25 unlimited plan. On November 22nd, 2024, I registered my son's new line and noticed that I was charged for I service that I didn't ask for. I proceeded to call Boost Mobile about this situation, at first I couldn't do nothing because I was not given a code for this number and without it they couldn't help me. Eventually, I had to talk with the department of security to unlock this account. I was told that the information connected to my account was not my information, and that this person posted your credit card. They proceeded to change the information on file with my own information. I was told that because of this inconvenience that I was going to receive a refund for the $40 charged. She then charged me $13 for a new *** card. The representative told me before you cancel the line make sure to ask for the $40 refund and when you receive it then activate the *** card when arrives. The department that works with deactivating or canceling lines was not having it. They refuse to give me the refund and was making it impossible to deactivated the device. I hang up the call after 2 hrs, and called again. This time a refund was filled and a ticket number was giving to me. She told me that I was receiving the $40 around 3-5 business day. I received the new *** card, but did not opened the envelope to activate the card. Called on December 13, 2024 to see why I haven't received the refund back and was told to wait until Dec 18th, 2024,. On, December 23rd, I was charged for Iservice I did not activate or have a number for. I called boost mobile again regarding the $40, plus unauthorized charges without activation of new card. Now, they say that the refund ticket was never created and that I need to call the bank to dispute the unauthorized charges. Total $79usdReview fromVi T

They violated my consumer right and their legal compliance. I was told I was unable to downgrade my plan and was given false information on plenty of occasions by their uneducated team. I was falsely charged by their system and that is where it all started. The 4th representative provided a credit and promised a refund. After the 8th representative I was told I would not be getting a refund and unable to do anything about the price of my plan. So boost thinks they can force me into a high paying plan and overcharge me at their leisure. Boost can take some of those billions and invest in better training. I was then denied any escalation and told that there is no corporate number or address. What kind of business denies consumers the right to escalate?Review fromDanielle M

THEY DONT EVEN DERSERVE A STAR AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!This company is AWFUL!!! All they want to do is SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY!!! Ive had boost for many years which in the past had no issues. For the last 3-4 years have been doing nothing more than failing with customer service who refuses to solve problems and scam people out of the money owed back to them or the money they put in the account! This company needs to be shut down!Review fromBrian C

I am concerned this company has harvested my social security number to verify my id, which is not what I signed up for on website for prepaid service, as well as after, they still did not help. They charged my bank a week before receiving sim. I am into tech, and the whole customer experience felt like a bait and switch. I received sim, and went to activate on website, which sent me verify id codes to email. I did that successfully, and the activate said successful. I click back on dashboard after to try to see what phone number is, still saying line needs to be activated. I chat thru website, which has no help even thou prompts imply its the right people to connect to. I am forced to call in, in which they refuse to help unless I provide my social security now. The customer service was terrible, as well as website chat "hung up" when I tried to ask how is someone supposed to use sim for prepaid service to call to activate? And how come they sell it online without informing customer this will be a requirement. ********************** got the money, told me I had to call and bank to reverse cause they cant refund, and to set up a brand new account and call in again. It moreless was because of there system? Yet I research the company its 4th largest of its type, which is technology. I dont know how I havent heard more about it, or the very recent data breach until after I research it because of giving them my ssn to verify and then they still not fixing problem. This prepaid service, which was already paid and this is very concerning!
