A sales man came to our door and over this service. After the first visit we started to have hesitations. It was almost as this made our house worse. After every visit: we had to call them, for a repeat. We called multiple times with our concerns, and really never got anywhere. They charged us $180 to cancel our contract. Icing on the cake: we were never sent a cancelation bill: so after 90 days of not hearing from them at all (no service, no phone calls). Our bill was sent to collectors. Now we have a ping on our credit from this.This company is a scam, and there are multiple complaints with this exact story. Please stay away. In a nut shell our great credit was tainted by 3/4 visits that didnt do anything to help our home. The headache, the money, everything. Its a matter of time before this company gets in trouble for this.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

DO NOT USE Eco-Shield- its a Scam! Not only did they not provide the service they promised, but I cancelled in 30days and they have hounded me for $200. That was in October. Today I seen they charged me another $150 for service. A service that I cancelled! Avoid at all cost!Ecoshield Pest Solutions

DO NOT go with this company no matter what you are thinking. It does not work. I was talked into going with her service after moving into a brand new house at a discount with no problem to discontinue if not satisfied. I told them after the first time that it did not work. **** were coming back, they asked if they could come back out to redo it I said Id rather you not just refund my money, and they said I couldnt cancel until I let them come out at least two more times so two more times go by and I still want to cancel there is bugs all over the place still coming back they are not doing a complete job and one time they said they were here which they were not ever here. After months of telling them that I do not want the service and refund my money, they decided just to charge me the $150 cancellation fee and are trying to send me to a collection which you have no communication with anybody that understands or listens to you and you will not get out of it. They are liars they do not honor the contract no matter what you do stay away from this thieving company I guess theyre so poor they need to take money from single parents.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

Almost got SCAMMED and had to PAY to cancel when I was unhappy about it. I just want to alert others regarding the poor and dishonest practices of Ecoshield Pest Solutions. After noticing a mouse in the basement, Ecoshield, who I had been a customer with for almost 2 years, offered to come out for a free inspection. They did a cursory look inside and wanted to check activity in the attic to make sure there wasnt an infestation, even though there were only a couple droppings in total in the basement and one mouse seen. The technician came down and showed me some pictures and said there was unfortunately an infestation and they were burrowed everywhere and insulation was soaked with urine. There were a couple of droppings in the photos he showed me and some of the insulation (probably original from the late 80s) did look dark/discolored. I was surprised to hear this, given only a couple of droppings in total found in the basement, and everywhere in the house was totally fine- kitchen, pantry, bathrooms, etc. They quoted me almost $8k for remediation of the attic and that if unresolved could lead to mice coming out of the **** system and vents. I then called another pest control company to come out and take a look because things didnt add up at all. In the meantime, we trapped two mice in the basement and ecoshield later came to put traps inside per my request. When the second pest control company came, I made sure to go up into the attic with them to look for myself while they were inspecting the area. They said there was minimal to no activity in the attic. I told them there was a reported infestation; he looked around again and said there is no infestation whatsoever. The insulation is old and could use a replacement, but there is no infestation. I pointed out the dark areas from the photos and he said that was all dust- not mice urine, and there was no evidence of burrowing. In summary, ALWAYS get a second opinion and do not trust EcoShield.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

THEY'RE OUT TO RIP YOU OFF! I had a contract with them and they were supposed to remediate the mice in my attic. They told me I had to pay to have the floorboards taken up -- which I did. They subcontracted to another company who showed up for two hours and took out the old insulation on my walls and floor, put insulation on the walls and left. EcoShield never showed up to do anything else. The floorboards were up, mouse f**** all over, and I never heard from them again. Called repeatedly and nobody answered. But they charged me $3,300. I disputed with BBB and ***************** After almost two months, I got my money back. And now I have to pay to have my attic cleaned up, insulation put back in, and floorboards back. I don't even care about the mice; I'm using humane traps and calling it a day. have lived with the contents of my attic all around me for almost three months. I specifically asked the salesperson: will I get any penalty on cancelation? The answer was no penalty after 3 month trial.Well, I called this week, after 6 month trial, I was told that they will charge me $200 penalty.I was offered an alternative to change the contract from 24 months to 12 months. Basically, with 3 remaining services to go. I requested to receive that new contract; let's see whether I will get it.Apart from that, I am curious what exactly they do because their service people leave my property very fast, while I do have a big yard. I never saw them doing anything.I also cannot tell whether there's any difference to any bugs in my yard. The customer service kept talking bugs inside the house and that was never a problem for me!Total waste of my money.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

Stay far away. Awful customer service. We tried to cancel our services and because it wasn't cancelled soon enough or wasn't cancelled on time, a service was rendered that we knew nothing about. No text. No email. But that's all they see on their end so it's our fault. So now they are footing us with the bill for services we did not even want to happen. Tech showed up unannounced, didn't ring the doorbell, just was in our backyard all the sudden. They won't even waive this bill because they already used product before we realized they were even there. The technician should have rang the doorbell to let us know (we have dogs for crying out loud they could have been outside!) and we could have made sure this never happened. But instead they wanted to knock down $20 off the bill....complete bull. I got half taken off and honestly that still isn't enough, it should be completely waived.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

They run a scam, no Response when you call the local office. When they came they spend less than 15 minutes sprayed a little bit that did nothing, changed approx $150 for this service. When unsatisfied they asked for another $150 in cancelation fees. Worst experience I've ever had with a company.Ecoshield Pest Solutions
