More of the same as everyone has listed below. Impossible to cancel. After calling multiple times to cancel, I finally got an email in writing back in March that our contract had been cancelled. Today, my wife got a text message saying our quarterly service was scheduled for next week. I called and the woman acknowledged that our contract had been cancelled in March, but that "someone" had reinstated the account, which my wife and I absolutely did not do. Then she told me she had to transfer to me to another agent to resolve the issue and then left me on hold for over an hour before I finally gave ***** not ever sign anything with this company, they are snakesEcoshield Pest Solutions

Salesperson came into our gated back yard without knocking on the door or anything. Caught the dogs and us by surprise. Afterwards, the person kept pushing about spiders, ants , etc... Typical BS. I had to decline multiple times informing him that we already have an agreement with a pest control service and don't need anything else right now. Very pushy too. Today, I get a knock on the door twice from an EcoShield salesman. I was on a business call the first time, so before he went into his sales pitch, I let him know that now wasnt a good time. He came back about an hour later trying to get me to sign up. Didnt tell me his name at that time. Just went into his sales pitch. I assured him I wasnt interested in making a commitment to any services at this time. I asked for a number/business card. He said, he was fresh out of business cards so I grabbed my phone to get his name and number. He never gave me a number. He went on for a bit longer then told me his name. He talked about what my neighbors signed up for, then asked me if I was interested. I told him not at the moment but perhaps another time. I even offered for him to come back the following week. He told me he wouldnt be in the area but he could give me a deal, as there was a route already setup in my area. Again, I told him I was not interested. He asked for my ID and Credit Card information. Saying that they wouldnt charge me it would just be on hold. I told him Im uncomfortable with giving him my credit card information but gave him my email and phone number to schedule something in the future. He asked me did I think he was trying to scam me or something? I asked him to leave and closed my door. This isnt the first time they knocked on my door. In fact, its beginning to be quite pestering. Last year the solicitor that came was told were not interested so many times I threaten to call the police if they didnt get off my property.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

One Star Deceptive Business Practices and Unauthorized Charges I had a terrible experience with EcoShield. I was misled by their salesman, **** ********, who assured me that I was only signing a receipt for a one-time service. I made it very clear that I did not want to be enrolled in any kind of ongoing agreement. He reassured me it was just a ************ my shock, a month later, my credit card was charged an additional $319.88, and I discovered they had enrolled me in a contract without my consent. When I contacted customer service (on a recorded line), they were dismissive and rude. Instead of helping me, they informed me that canceling would incur an additional cancellation feeeven though I never agreed to any contract in the first place.This felt like a scam from start to finish. I ended up in collections and paid for services I never received and never agreed to. The entire experience has been stressful, dishonest, and deeply disappointing. I take the 1 star back! NEVER do business with them. I had to cancel my credit card and post no trespassing signs just to get rid of them. They won't let me cancel the "service" though I've been trying for two days this time. I also tried in February but they wouldn't let me then either. well, I cancelled the credit card, so good luck getting paid. I'd give a 0 if they had that. It is impossible to cancel. I do not want that stuff on or in my home. Go away! Just stop!The customer service is horrible. My advice is DO NOT USE THESE THIEVES. Horrible Service No Accountability, No Integrity I hired this company for a rodent exclusion service in Jan 2024 and was assured all entry points were sealed. Less than a year later, rodents were backand during the new inspection in March 2025, they found an entry point the original inspector missed. When I asked for it to be covered under warranty, they flatly refused, despite it clearly being their oversight.After I challenged their response, they completely ghosted meno calls, no proposal, no communication. I followed up multiple times, only to be ignored. And instead of resolving the issue or even having a professional conversation, they abruptly messaged me saying they were closing my account because I was being condescending. Really? Thats how they handle legitimate complaints?This company refuses to take responsibility for their mistakes and treats loyal customers with shocking disregard. Ive had to chase them down just to be heardand in the end, they just blame the customer and walk away.If you want a company that values accountability, professionalism, and basic customer service, look elsewhere. Do not do business with this company. Should they knock on your door with an unbelievable offer, please run the other way. I live in a gated community, and a canvasser knocked on my door on Ap 1. He told me he was working at a neighbors and could do a treatment for me today. I told him I wasnt interested because I already have a service that I have used for 7 years. He insisted at just looking around the house and I told him ok. Frankly, I was busy at the time, and annoyed as our neighborhood does not allow soliciting. He finds a few areas & said he was going to offer me a deal for a **** 45, which is $1.45. I thought it was just a sales gimmick to get new customers, so I agreed. He said I would pay 1.45 for each treatment for a year and $250. should I cancel before that time. At the time, silly me believed him. I thought ok, Ill just cancel my other service. At no time when I spoke to customer service to start the account, did they say my service was actually $145. We get a call from the gate shortly after he leaves to let the tech into the community. Another false statement by the sales agent. I was told the tech was at a neighbors and would be over shortly. Not true. Why lie about that?I check my email shortly after that and see I have already been charged $145. Not $1.45. I immediately contacted the sales *** and he apologized and said he misspoke. In his mind saying a **** 45 meant $145. Now Ive been around the block far too many times to believe that. I feel I was misled and scammed frankly.Chance, the **** agreed to cancel the service and reverse charges. I got a notice that the service was cancelled but have yet to get confirmation the charge was reversed. I was told in a text to call customer service which I did. After an hour of talking to multiple people, and also having no one answer the call, I gave up on that. I have sent ***eated emails to the ************* and only get a generic ***ly.
