They Lie!!!!!!!!! They hard lock phones!!! I am bringing my fold 5 back Thursday!! They hard lock phone so you can never unlock it!! Because if they do ******* gives them a big discount on the phone and they sell it full price!!! But thank god there is a ******* worker that will unlock it for you for money has long you know how too contact him!! He told me the whole story about what they do!!!! Company need to shut down!!!! I always had internet service with spectrum. I had mobile service but it was for my brother. A few months ago I wanted to save money so I moved to spectrum mobile. I transferred my number to spectrum. I financed a iPhone 14 pro *** and I was happy. then as soon as I got the phone I was experiencing slow data speeds and mysterious data usage. I had **** Prior and my normal usage was about **** GB. There was one time I used 25GB but I always remained under 10. then spectrum told me I passed my data allowance. Im paying $39.99. I thought it would be no big deal until I went out. I like to post photos on my ******** sometimes but due to being throttled I could not post anything. then when I went to the movies I had to open the Regal app so they can scan my ticket: I couldnt open the app. the data was so slow that the apps dont function. I felt embarrassed. I had a brand new phone and it was acting this way. so that very same day I went to ***-Mobile store and signed up for their Go5G Plus plan because I had to get a secondary line. Ive been using T-Mobile for 2 months. My data usage is below 10GB. So Im still paying my spectrum mobile bill but Im not using the service because the data is unusable. I dont have the money to pay off the iPhone so I have to keep paying the installments. I understand spectrums unlocking policy but Im unable to use what was promised so they should unlock it regardless. Also its 2023 what are we doing throttling data? give people truly unlimited data and stop this throttlingReview fromIlene B

This is worst cellular company I have ever used. I fell for their promo ***** cellular phone that incl- cellular, free ***************** The guy was new, he never told me that if I didnt connect my internet that the promo would go out the door & that my price would double or that my bills were separate. I did not realize at this point that I was only paying my phone bill & not my internet. Remember bills were separate & didnt receive a paper copy mailed to me. I was unaware that for months I had to pay separate for internet. On top of that my phone had issues that I needed to get 2 different SIM cards within a first few months of having it., I was so distracted with all the phone issues that after 3 months of internet bills (I wasnt aware off till then-because my promo lapsed) was sent to collections. Ive tried to resolve this *********** a disconnect with the stores & the customer service manager by phone. they pass it off on each other. Store manager tell you to deal with CSM by phone & vice-versa, with no resolution . They are a very deceiving company, Ive called and spoke to CS which didnt give me the correct info about billing, nor does their App work correctly. Only way to find info about your phone is the website. By that time its too late -STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!! NOTHING BUT A HEADACHE ????Review fromLisa P

If I could leave less than one star I would. I was moving and had a business landline with them. I called to have the phone moved to new address I was told that my new address could not have a landline and they could send a mobile and port it over. That was on July 31 2023 today is August 13 2023 and theyve still not ported it over. *** called countless times 20 at least and theyre always working on it. *** almost had a break down over this. I do not understand all the negative reviews. Spectrum Mobile is working just fine for me. I'm financing a couple of very high-end items, an Apple Watch Ultra and the iPhone 14 ***************** they're using ********* towers, coverage is on a par with other carriers in my area. I also have a phone with T-Mobile ("TMob"). TMob pulled a bit of a bait-and-switch on a deposit for the same items, quoting me one price at about $350.00 one week, and over $775.00 for a deposit on just the same phone two weeks later; they said it was due to a new "credit check system."Well, that *** very well be, but it doesn't impress me, and considering I've been with them for over two years now, I was hoping for a better deal.Spectrum Mobile, out-the-door, $277.85 (or so).I've had ************************** from **********************, and ******************** Internet/Home Phone. I have a Land Line through Spectrum, and 100MB/Sec Internet. I have no problems with either. I always am able to get through to customer service, and have them solve any issues I've had.I wish Spectrum Mobile had 100GB ************* like T-Mobile, instead of the *****GB offered. Being an MVNO, they have to buy blocks of data from ******* and re-sell it; this is a common practice. This *** be a minor issue, depending on how my data useage racks up. I'm eager to see what kind of "throttled" speed occurs after 20GB is used. 1MB Up/500KB Down, I'm told. Beats 2G speeds, anyway, but I think the *** should limit throttling to 4G at this late date. Modem speeds are so passe'!So that's it! I like both services and I was able to upgrade my phone and watch. I'm happy so far. My mom was promised she would get her landlines of 46 years put on a mobile phone if we bought one. They were not able to make this happen. They said it was a technical issue. Then when we tried to turn the phone back in They wanted us to pay for it. They finely said they wouldn't charge us. We sent phone back They charged a $50 restocking fee. When I called to complain they refused. They don't follow through on their word bad customer service. Would not recommend.Review fromJoshua L

I was making payments by signing onto my acct and paying the total spectrum mobile gave me. Come to find out it was the wrong *** they were giving me. They told me I was ******* dollars behind on my bill and I had to make a lump sum payment or service would get turned off and turned into collections without any notice. Spectrums billing system is all messed up. I was punished and turned into collections because of errors with there billing software. They refuse to fix it and stick me with the problem they caused. I recently had a phone reported to the credit bureaus behind a phone I purchased that had service issues. Went back to the spectrum store to have it fixed. 4 hours later, still not corrected, received a new phone. Same problem, sent both phones back within the 14 day return period. 1 was returned back to me stating I still owe for the phone. Long story short, Credit dropped by multiple points due to it being sent to collections. How was this my problem when the services were the issue????? I am disgusted and angered my credit was destroyed for service issues out of my control. I wouldn't recommend them ever. ****************
