    You're always concerned that something might go wrong with a big purchase and installation, but everything was perfect and **** and his crew did a fantastic job with our window installation and there was no cleanup or fixes for me to do. Thanks Verdun and great work ****!

    Great business for Window and Door work. Their products are first class, sales people are knowledgeable and willing to listen to what we want. The installation crews are amazing. Fast, efficient, thorough and respectful of our home.Unfortunately production delays are far from unusual these days but the company was upfront with us about it and the expected wait time was just about dead on.We have dealt with Verdun a few times now and will do so again if/when we need any further upgrades. It seems that many of my neighbours agree as their work trucks are a very common sight in and around where we live.

    DONT SIGN ANYTHING ************ makes you feel very unimportant. They are so busy that they cannot install one window 38 weeks after ordering and paying the deposit. I contacted another company and got a better price for 8 windows and a door. These were installed 4 weeks later and the installation was very professionally done. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS

    Where do I start with this one. We ordered our windows over a year ago and we still do not have all our windows. They sent a junior crew of two to do the install and it has been a nightmare ever since. Firstly they showed up a year later without all our windows. They proceeded to commence the removal of the windows and cut through our security system wires and now we have to pay to have the system upgraded. Further more, our alarm system no longer works because we can't have the system updated until they finish with the window installation. All our windows are sticking and hard to open and close. They sent a repair guy in to fix the seal on one of the windows and now they have to change all the sashes again which we were told it may take longer than 2 weeks before we can get new ones. We are most likely looking at probably a month or more. Also the measurements were taken wrong and our blinds do not fit anymore and we have to purchase new blinds on top of everything else. These extra costs should not be coming out of our pockets due to Verdun's mistakes. They made sure to cash our cheque the same day but haven't completed the job. They are saying the way to fix our windows from sticking is to spray jig-a-loo around the seals. This only helps for a certain period of time as the spray dries out quickly and they do not supply you with the spray so this is another cost for the customer. **********************'s workmanship and customer service has gone down hill very quickly. I would not have given a star at all but I had to give at least one.*****

While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, unforeseen circumstances can occasionally result in delays. We understand your frustration and regret any inconvenience caused by this situation.We would like to clarify that the measurements were not taken incorrectly. Our priority is to ensure that the windows are manufactured to fit the structural opening of the home, rather than fitting existing curtains or blinds. This approach is to ensure maximum efficiency and benefit for homeowners. We apologize for any confusion in this regard. Please note that the windows were manufactured to the sizes agreed upon in the signed contract.We apologize for any misunderstandings or lack of clarity regarding the removal and reinstallation of window coverings, as well as the fitting of blinds to the new windows. As stated in our contract, these aspects fall outside the scope of our responsibility. However, we acknowledge your concerns and are willing to work together within the agreed-upon terms to find a suitable resolution.In regards to the damage caused to your security system wires during the installation, we deeply regret this unfortunate incident. While we take precautions to ensure the utmost care during the installation process, accidents can occur and it is ultimately the homeowners responsibility to remove or relocate any electrical wiring including, but not limited to, alarm systems, junction boxes to avoid such issues.We assure you that we value your business and are committed to finding a resolution within the boundaries of our responsibilities. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work towards addressing these issues to your satisfaction.

    Your response to our review has prompted ** to forward an e-mail to Verdun Windows and Doors ("Verdun") this morning outlining all e-mail contact, dates, times and understanding of our contract with Verdun. With respect to your comment about the windows being manufactured to fit the structural opening of the home, we understand that is the standard process. Your sales representative advised us that we could keep our current ********** shutters if the windows were fabricated with jamb on site installs. We paid additional costs to Verdun for this process and to have the jambs installed on site. Your service managers and inspectors agreed that the work was not done properly. Before responding to a review, I would highly recommend that you communicate internally amongst each other; take onus that you failed to satisfy your customers' needs and wants and learn from these errors to better improve your service. With respect to the security system, we capped the wiring prior to installation as suggested by our seurity company. Your installers just needed to tuck it in but instead cut the wires. As of today, we are still missing a window and the seals on 6 windows have to be replaced. It seems the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. We have been more than patient but need this resolved as soon as possible to ensure our home is properly secured.

    Be careful before signing the contract with this company. They tell you that the waiting time is a maximum of 34 weeks and it is not true at all. I have been waiting for a year and there are still three windows that were installed with issues so I have to deal with warranty now. They stained my carpet and very poorly done caulking in several places. If you can, look for another company for your doors and windows.

    Excellent pre-service information, both written and verbal. Patience was required by ***** but he definitely answered all my questions, politely and efficiently. If the installation goes as well as the contract to purchase the new doors, we will be very satisfied.Having a computer and printer with the salesperson, proved to be very effective as you could view the product you were purchasing and the quotation was instantaneous.We would definitely highly recommend the salesperson *****.

    On June 14th we were scheduled for a replacement window to be installed and two front windows to be fitted with flashing. The window did not appear and is again scheduled for the 23rd of June. **** and **** did finish the flashing job with professionalism, and in good time. We were impressed with them both and look forward to them returning on the 23rd for the window replacement. Let us hope that this contract will finally come to an end after 14 months since the date of order.
