      Metergey is untrustworthy *** *** ******** *** buy their services from ***** and upsell to apartment buildings, which traps the clients into bills 3x higher than directly from *****. The customer service is lackluster and they are inconsistent with their bulling system. They will bill you after 4-6 months of having an account with them and expect you to pay the 4-6 months all upfront. Horrible experience and a poor choice for any building to move to work with this company. I will never move into another building that is sub metered ever again because of them.

      Metergy Soulutions is very poor customer service company, Withdraw 3 payments for service in 2022, from my bank account by mistake then refund a check, then stop the payment by mistake. Now saying they are checking & will issues a check soon. Please advise

      * **** ***** ***** **** **** **** ***** ******* ** ** ***** When they sent paper bills they came so late that the due date was only one or two days away. Also sent me a bill telling me I was over $200 in arrears when I actually had a credit balance. And they wonder why I won't allow them directly into my account to take payments. Signed up for emailing however every time it tells me the password is incorrect. Go to reset the password and it says it will send me a message to my preferred message preference and it sent it in an email. I called them said my preferred message preference is text message however the only Preference they offer is email.

      Not on values! Metergy Solution have includes a set up fee of CAD 50 along with my first bill which is fine but set up charge are very huge. It becomes CAD 56 with taxes. Main issue is that my other friend got set up charges at CAD 30 when he moved in May 2022. Its just 4 months and they increased the set up charges by 80% which is a huge jump. 10-15% rise is understandable but why so much increase. This way anyone can rise any charges anytime. Such prices must be controlled and even the company should think about it that this is not really good to increase 80% just like that. I request you to adjust the set up charges in my bill.

      They only get one star from me, because some of their agents are actually helpful. The company itself is outrageous, the fees/rates (fees with an s, because they have way more fees than the actual cost of the electricity) are ridiculous. In a one bedroom apt and my bill is $100+. Some type of service is always not working whether it be their automatic payments, the website etc. Highly annoying. They stay messing up with your payments, which makes it hard to deal/budget your finances. They advise me that two fees would not be taken out of my account and when I checked my account, they were. At this time, I have no choice but to deal with them, however; if I had the choice I would stay far away from this company!

      It is also funny how they can take 3-5 business days to take money out of my account, but take 4-6 weeks, to send me the money back. One agent told me they won’t use the credit on my account to make the payment for the next bill and another agent told me they will. So I guess I have to wait and see until my next bill to see if they use the credit or not. Smh. Im just over this company!!!

      Billed me $50 for an account set up when I have already signed up for pre-authorized payments. In addition, nobody told me about this fee when I opened an account with Metergy. I also went through the agreement and nowhere in the agreement it says I will be charged $50 to sign up for something as basic as electricity. No transparency whatsoever and now I am forced to pay this fee.

We apologize if this was not made clear by our Contact Centre when the customer called in but it is clearly stated on the Customer Service Agreement and is applicable to all new customers, similar to local utilties.
