      Careful of "Prorated charges". I changed my plan 3 days after the billing cycle, with no upcharge notification beyond the plan itself. Next month, They hit me with unreturned equipment charges of $250, Even though their own warehouse confirmed getting their equipment back via email and a "Prorated charge" of $53 for 3 days of that billing cycle. Both of these were within the same month, If i hadn't of been aggressively attacking the $250 charge, I'd of likely missed the $53 charge- (A $23 Dollar charge would've made sense) Meanwhile both of these charges are boogas, And on top of their double billing cycle bs, it make it complicated for myself, let alone someone who isn't paying attention to notice. They are the kings of deception, And its not until you stand your ground over chat or phone, that they will IMMEDIATELY reverse the charges or add a **** credit. *Positive- Decent internet in my area LOOL

      I can not access or sign up for my account and Shaw can't fix it. They have tried. No one is returning calls. Now that I can't access account or pay my bill. They have said not there problem and I have to pay the $4.50 tax the sent after I paid for month. If I cancel they are going to charge me pro rate. The contract is null and void they can not full fill it and it's ***** and not being able to fix this. Why am I being charged or treated like this. This is not my issue why are they making me feel like it's my problem. It's not they can't fix it and I can not use services as they advertised. As well the problem is they do not delete your personal info from previous accounts. Hence when they answer phone the recording is about your safety and privacy and safety with Shaw. Lol they can't even fix their own system let alone there is now a history of information in their data that if they are breached my info can be used to steal my identity. They have different addresses and numbers stored. I can't access or sign up because it says I already exist in there system but I can't access they can't fix and they still wanna keep my money...enough your system.us broke stop abusing people cause that's exactly what this is I'm mad and then you wonder why your employees get abused well they work for a company that doesn't care. Their system sets both up the employee and the customer and as soon as the customer expresses negativity it's abuse hence no serve...this is the cycle of Shaw's system of abuse....

      Have been with Shaw for the last 4 years, Business account and Personal account. Will have to move to an area that doesn’t provide any Shaw coverage and was told my cancellation fee for residential will be $450, for the business account $850. This is how they treat their customers. That is $1300 in cancellation fees. It’s ridiculous and * ****. Cancellation fees for what? $1300.

      I contacted Shaw on June 1st to cancel my Shaw internet service in Kelowna. I informed the person on the phone that I had sold my house there and no longer needed the service. I requested the service be terminated on June 29th, 2022 which is the possession date. I was on a month to month plan and had automatic credit card payments set up. Incidentally, I also have Shaw internet at my home in Canmore which is also set up with automatic credit card withdrawals from the same card. Instead of responding to my request, the service agent started to attempt to upsell me telling me about being a loyal customer and the great rate I was getting and that I should transfer the service. He kept pressing on with this sales pitch and needless to say, I got a little angry with this person as he was really trying to push this transfer on me. Things got pretty heated and the conversation ended with him assuring me that he was going to comply with my original request and terminate the service on June 29th. Interestingly enough, I received an Email today from Shaw and am being invoiced for the period from June 15th to July 15th and to top it off for some strange reason my automatic withdrawal was cancelled on my account and the May billing is past due. This really smells like thier representative "stuck it to me".

      They’re parasitic blood sucking leeches . The two year contract is Legally worthless, the equipment is antiquated. Despite those slick ads it’s all a gimmick. If you want just internet- you have to also sign up tv as well? Everything is extra or PPV Otherwise there’s zero chance of finding something worth watching.! Since the marriage with ****** - I can only assume it’ll be more of the same but the only difference will be the massive price increase. I have yet to see any of there product claims to live up to there imaginative standards . When I went in two pay my bills in person. 3 out of 4 people were returning there equipment. Shouldn’t that be a clue to head office? Wait till you get a nasty letter - our records indicate - after they cut you off . I’ve been laying down 400.00 just to get caught up . Last payment really set me off . They informed me it’ll take an entire week to electronically transfer the funds .? You can wire that same amount to anyone anywhere in the world , within hours . I would rather sign up ****** ** - so many channels for the same price . I’ll probably go the ***** ***** .
