      Shady billing practices.I cancelled my account within 1 month of the end of the term agreed to in contract. I paid the full term of the contract out. They are now hitting me with a 35 dollar fee for cancelling. They have escalated it to my creditors. I am tempted to take them to the supreme court over it to be honest.I had a call with a rep, they said they would remove the charge. Everything remains now a month later. This is obscene and frankly they need to be taken to court over this.

      Absolute Horrible Customer Service. They do not respect your loyal business and have no respect for your time. I called to speak to a manager (by the way they have no Accountability) and the first time they said they would call me back, never received a call. The second time kept me on the phone for 30mins, and today OVER AN HOUR. My time is valuable too!!!! ****** Employee# WMUF (if that is her real number) just kept receipting the same thing like a broken recorder. " I understand your frustration" So this is the first step Better Business Bureau says to to. Let's see if ****/****** even responds to this. I will see if my loyal business for over 10 years means anything.

      Had service *** ***** ***** come to my door in ********* ********. Was offered a promotion and told I could cancel anytime. About 6 months later needed to cancel and was told Id be charged $500. I told the woman on the phone I was not aware of this fee and what the sales *** said. She said she would waive it and I clarified with her two or three times. Almost a month later (after receiving the final bill) Im charged the $500. Just tried to talk with customer service, waited two hours and nothing.

      Wish I could leave negative stars. AVOID THIS COMPANY **** ** ********. Cancelled our internet with **** when our contract was ending because we were moving and wanted better internet service for a better price (Shaws internet ***** and is expensive). Received the confirmation code for the modem return, returned the modem. Guess it was Opposite Day for whoever we spoke to, oh you want to cancel and return your modem? I will most definitely renew you for another year, heres the information to mail the modem back that you need for the internet. NOW were expected to pay for a month of internet ($90.00) AND pay a $250+ cancellation fee. Provided the confirmation code for the modem we returned, provided the EXACT DATE AND TIME we called to cancel, but apparently this isnt enough proof that we cancelled our internet rather than renewing it? Clearly a company that gets spicy when someone wants to leave rather than stay and pay a ridiculous amount of money for mediocre internet speed that they say is perfect for people who game online.**** is a horrible company, HORRIBLE. I will tell that to anyone who ever brings up changing internet providers, RUN THE OTHER WAY.

      One of the worst companies to deal with. **************** cannot be reached even after holding on for more than one hour. They charge you an arm and a leg and give you nothing but grief. Why do I have to pay for something that is not being delivered?

      This company and its terrible service is everything that's wrong with Internet services in this county. I guess this is what you get with monopolies. We ordered the ******/Shaw X-Finity router for Internet services at our brand new house. We were able to order it online no problem and they provided a start date. We go to hook it up only to discover there's no connection. After hours, and I mean hours, of back and forth calls with tech support and it's accounts department, we are told there's actually no service available for us yet, because of an issue with their data (likely the postal code and being such a new house). We were told there's no way we would be charged and lo and behold we are sent a bill for $30, despite having already been in contact with them and getting the absolute run around. This is a joke and a ****. Canadians deserve better and not having to resort to billionaire and all around garage human being-owned companies like ******** to get Internet services. ***** ** **** * *****.

      I can recall Shaw's good service. If you phoned in, you could leave a number and they would call back. Customer service was effective, and the company seemed to care. Not so R****** *******! We have experienced wifi issues fir minths. R****'s finally admitted it was their fauolt. But, nothing is fixed! Phone and you are on hold for what feels like days! Their customer service department is their only for bills and their money. Issues with wi-fi, and the recording suggests I go on-line! Even when I try that, I cannot receive any definitive answer, and when it inevitably quits the wi-fi, they do not call back, nor text, nor chat. I was with Shaw for many years. Bit R***** ******* is so NOT Shaw!!

      ******** ********** ******** ******* *** **** ****** ******* **** ******* ******** On 03-02-2025 I was on the line for 45 minutes and 20 seconds as I had recied a cancellation fee letter. Unbeknownst to me the agent advised there was a call on July 10 by me.. I did not make this call. I even stated I could send them a statement of my phone logs. Agent said they would escalate.. I had to go and the agent called me back at 9.37am this call was 8 mins where he needed me on the line for the escalation, as you could tell I was under the impression I would be speaking to a manager or the escalation department. The agent called back at 10:27 am we had another call for 13 minutes. The confirm the number they received the call from was not my number yet still denied to allow me to escalate the call or speak to a manager. They refused to further investigate my concern. I did not call to renew a contract and they clearly do not have my number on the july 10 call. I verbally confirmed that the agent was refusing to escalate my concern. I voiced my concern that this was a ********** call.. and the agent was denying my ability request to further escalate the file. This was certainly as per the instructions of his boss or whoever confirmed the July 10 was not my number. I'm sure the agent did his best based on what he was told to do but as consumers we have the right to voice concerns and have cases of potential ***** looked into. Overall, I'm not happy with the service with shaw bought by ******. They have wasted my time and completely disregard my concern.

      Since they merged **** ****** *** ****** *** ***** *** *** *** *** *** **** ** **** **** the experience is the worst ever. They saved a lot of money with those small little useless black boxes but still increase their pricing. Once my contract is over I will switch to ***** for sure, unless they fix the issue, invest in better software and provide the same experience they did before.
