    I am a vetted pro contractor who remains active in the industry. I am writing to express my profound disappointment with this company, which initially seemed poised to become a top competitor against **************. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory.Initially, the customer service, specifically from **** ******, was excellentuntil I signed on. After that, communication ceased, and my subsequent inquiries went unanswered. There is no straightforward way to contact them; they push for email communication, which feels evasive.Over the months, the quality of the leads has been subpar, ranging from non-insured homeowners, individuals unable to pay their deductibles, non-English speakers, and inappropriate requests that do not match our services. Just recently, I received a lead from a homeowner living under extremely poor conditions, unable to meet even the minimum payment required for servicesthis is not the clientele we were promised.I adjusted my service area to avoid such mismatches, yet, on the same day, I was charged for leads outside this area. Requests to rectify this situation have been ignored, showing a lack of respect and consideration for their contractors. I've since had to instruct my bank to block further payments to their service.This company's disregard for genuine customer service and the quality of leads is unacceptable. They seem only to care about payments, not about providing quality service or support to their contractors. What I've experienced feels nothing short of a scam.

    they charged my account after a year that i don't do any business with them, they provide me information that does not exist. They are liars, cheats and their leads are fake!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PORCH.COM

    Porch.com scaled my company! I'm highly surprised for the former reviews. The date of this review is DEC 2024 just 2 weeks before 2025. I've been with Porch this year and they scaled my company drastically. I receive leads from Porch daily and they even call me with verified leads. Great company! Give Porch.com a go!     This company called me after an inspection report. I did not willing give my information when I downloaded the report, and they called me the next day. What a terrible and deceitful way to get sales leads. Dont give these folks money. Nothing good comes from a company that tricks potential customers.

    I have used Porch when they were newer back about 6 yrs ago. And they were pretty good about being reasonable. However, as they grew they became less reasonable and more legalistic. So I stopped using them for a while. I give them another try after leaving for 2-3 yrs this season. I started with their pay as you go lead opportunities. Sadly the quality was not great, so testing the waters was not good. NO ROI. Porch has a auto refund policy which is good. However life doesn't go according to policies, does it. I left them over a lead denial. Policy is 2 calls 2 text within 72 hrs. That's fine. I called 3 times and was within 10 mins over the 72hrs to send the next text. Now mind you this was either way a unresponsive lead. Porch knew this. I asked that they be reasonable about their intention of the policy. They want their contractors to make an effort, no problem! I agree. However this is where the Integrity of a company (or the tires met the road so to speak) shows in their actions. They're unwilling to be reasonable which shows me they're more concerned about their bottom line. Than our relationship as a customer. I left them due to their lack of Integrity they showed me today. This is the very issue when Porch becomes so large and so corporate, like the Home Advisor's out there. I don't have time to chase supervisors or go up the chain of command over something that should be simple for them to take care of. I wouldn't recommend at this time.

    Its a shame you have to go through loops and hoops to get a contractor! As someone in the real estate industry I wouldnt recommend this company. The guy I spoke to said he would have 3 contractors contact me.

    All the ways it went wrong: - no showed - told me the wrong time - damaged my property TWICE - weeks of back and forth - won't give me the money to pay for the damages - tried to force me to pay for a warranty when they did the work wrong and did damages to my home for them to come back and fix it This is an on-going issue and I deeply regret interacting with this firm.

    I was referred to this company by ****** for a 2-1 sink/dishwasher installation. The installer was a NO CALL NO SHOW to his appointment. When I called the company, they said it would be another week before they can send someone out to install the sink. Meanwhile, the new sink is sitting on my kitchen floor and the stuff I removed from under the existing sink is all sitting on my countertop. Terrible and unreliable way to do business. I would never use these people again. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND.
