      Microsoft is horrible, it is hard enough to remember all the password people have to remember, but to limit how many attempts to reset password and not provide the ability to verify ID a different way to disable people. Horrible company, if I could I would *** for mental stress this causes, cause so many things are ties to this horrible company.

      I purchased a XBOX from ******* on December 28, 2023 for my son. Not even a month old the system stop working, I called ******* customer service to used the warranty. They told me I had to use the manufacturer warranty which was Microsoft, I tried to do just that. The process was HORRIBLE! Trying to get in contact and the process, I was told I had to send the Xbox to them. I did and they sent me an email saying it was denied repair and was sending it back, no explanation. It took me over 2 hours to find out what was the reason, they told me the system was altered! I said it isnt even a month old, I nor my son altered it. They said they send it back but couldnt give me a tracking number! When i demanded a tracking number I was hung up on! Another 4 hours to get someone from leadership to tell me they will find out where the Xbox was so I can go back to ******* and get my money back. Big corporations feel they can do whatever they want, I completely disagree! We need to affect their money for poor services and scams!

      Auto renewal is an unfair practice without notifying the customer first. There is a 30 day window to cancel a renewal, but if your **************** or credit card company bills you after the 30 days, your basically screwed. I've attempted to resolve the matter directly with Microsoft, but had no resolve. The issue I have as a consumer is that I was not given any notice of a upcoming renewal.To make my situation worst, I unfortunately did not know I was even in a auto renewal subscription.Fair warning to all when enrolled in a auto renewal and there is no prior warning of a renewal.

      Beyond Angry and disgruntled Over the sheer stupidity of Microsoft Live After changing my phone for personal security reasons I am no longer able to get into my Hotmail account due to 2FA in addition to forgetting my access password for the account. It prompts for the ***** account and I received the authorization text ok. It wants and tries to send a second AUTH to my old phone number. This number does not exist any more and by now I am sure its been passed on to another user by now. I have attempted to contact at both the head office in Washington as well as the ******** office in *********** and I am either hung up on multiple rimes or fed pure BS. They tell me I am out of luck and they are sorry for my issue and can relate, of course they can they are utterly incompetent. Gmail, Apple, Yahoo and I could go on all have allowed me a way to change the authorization number. Why can't they or do they even want too is now how I feel. The account has extremely sensitive data stored inside and is also linked to my One Drive account. Neither are accessible. My only other option is to vent online with hopes that I can receive resolution by ******** about the lack of responsibility that MS has over my concern and the aptitude to deal with any customer related concern. Trust me I had no faith in ******************* or his BS company to begin with but now its even worse. Ban the ****** from ever releasing another OS or online account from, them forever.. My anxiety is at an all time high over this and I can't move past this. How would anyone get past old emails and photos from people who have passed on or issues relating to a sexual assault and harassment case. Good luck trying to get MS too answer. Reporting it also hits a dead end with them.

      short from: In my experience Microsoft is lying, deceitful, not keeping their agreements and ignoring my basic rights as a deafened person.They do not care about people, accuracy, quality of product or tech support in the past and they now ceased tech of the older programs.letter form: *************************** 3/20/2024 Better Business Bureau Complaint Microsoft Office Product paid for through Tech Soup on 10/11/23. Never delivered.To whom it may concern,We ordered the Microsoft Office 2021 through Tech Soup as a non-profit. Nothing came. We contacted Tech soup after a while. They said they were powerless. Microsoft was having problems in sending out the programs. Later, they said there were many problems at Microsoft and they could do nothing. The third time we called, the person was quite upset with Microsoft. He wished us luck.We started to call Microsoft directly. The nightmare started. Online support did not or could not help. I believe there were more than 20 calls made with no results, possibly many more.The persons who called were basically insulted, ignored, or in some cases, lied to. Our order was denied a time or two.(more details on request)We have had hours of confusion, discrimination (hearing loss or deafness means nothing to them it seems) and either ignorance, stupidity or abuse in this for months. During that time I have had tremendous difficulties with emails. Their Outlook is quite flaky. Some communications may not have gotten through. I am focused on the phone conversations here now.I suggested a satisfaction with our getting their latest Office Pro 2021 I believe and not the 365 they switched on us at one point. This is a program we would own, not a leased product to keep them getting money and some tech support, such as it may be.Thank you for your time and consideration in this horrible matter ****************

      This has got to be the worst company in tech. I just recently got my account hacked and the emails that were changed didn't have real domains. How can one of the biggest tech companies in the world allow such a thing. Through this hack I also lost all my xbox cloud data, I've had to change admin on my windows computer and Lost product info for games that I've played for years. Whatever happened to Microsoft it *****, the tech company that has been in power for decades has no semblance of actual support and technical know how that they let an obvious hack even happen. I really hope this company either collapses and a better one replaces it or we the company finally wakes up to their abysmal way of business.

      Purchased the game, WWE 2k24. On the main page of your XBox console, the game is advertised, as having a promotion that if you buy it, you will get a free month of Peacock Premium. This "sounded" like a good idea, since WrestleMania is coming up, and I hate ads. This was the DECIDING FACTOR in me choosing to purchase the video game. Upon checking on it, I see now that current subscribers are ineligible for it. Being well within the x14 days of buying the game (it was FIVE days ago), I requested a refund for the game based upon this, and was denied. This is false advertising, and should be illegal.

      Removing Gold for a Year was a bad moveHow come I bought a 60$ core code from retail then I put in the code, it resulted into game pass ultimate I was unaware of this because I return back to Xbox without knowing you only have to pay game pass for 3 months and not knowing they removed the year plan..and I was told I have no receipts of the 60$ code I put in and now basically I just got ripped off, this is pure nonsense they should never removed the year code

      In no way would I think it is possible for a company of this size to have no way to call and have a conversation with. Not only can they not help you fix your account but they dont care and say there is no way to fix a locked account unless you wait a day, yet they give you no hints or no knowledge your account is about to be locked out for a day. This company, takes thousands of my dollars a month yet cant give me proper help.
