Lu - I am sorry for the frustration. To clarify, Conservice ************ according to your lease. TERRIBLE COMPANY --- they make the billing confusing on purpose, they randomly change prices unjustifiably, and they charge fees for service before they even charge you for the services, my first month in my apartment they charged me a fee only, what on earth?? *****************.I'd like to know how my sewer went from $0.54 to $25, among others I'd also like to know how they list these double charges of "Water" and "water per sq ft" and then "trash" and "trash per sq ft"

***** - I regret to see you have not contacted us directly in regards to your concerns. To clarify, at your community, you are not billed according to your individual consumption. You are billed a portion of the overall bill for the communitys water and sewer services as outlined in your lease. The total amount is divided among the residents based on their occupancy and square footage. The trash charge is calculated in the same way. This is why your charges will show "water" and "water per square feet" as it simply shows the breakdown between occupancy and square footage. I am sorry for any confusion this may have caused. The water, sewer, and trash charges can vary from month to month depending on the total amount received from the local utility providers. With this billing method, if the total community bill increases or decreases, this will increase or decrease each resident's individual charges as well. Please note, those with more occupants or a higher square footage will receive a larger portion of the bill. There is a description of each of your utilities available on the back of your Conservice statement. All Conservice statements are available online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for your reference. Additionally, any fees billed by Conservice such as the monthly service fee should be outlined in your lease. The monthly service fee covers processing and consolidating your charges onto one billing statement. It is similar to fees other utility or service providers may charge to provide similar services. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.

The company I rent from switched over to conservice in the middle of November. Since January I have been paying for july-oct but as far as I am aware, the rental company did not use conservice before November. November through Feb absolutely makes sense as that is when they took over that job for the rental company. When I look at my receipts for the rental company, I can clearly see where the utilities were paid in full directly to the rental company. I am being charged a little over double the amount for utilities, half of which I have already paid according to what I can see on my login portal for that rental company. I don't know if this is just a mix up, or purposeful on conservices part, but it really feels like there's some miscommunication between them and the rental company I go though and I am suffering for it.

***************** when Conservice begins billing for a community, we pick up the utility billing from where the previous company ended. If there is any overlap in the utility billing from the prior company and Conservice, we'd be happy to review this further and make any adjustments as necessary. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for further assistance.

Opaque over-billing has been endemic for several years in the apartment building I have leased. Among other issues, charging $100/month for "gas" when I hardly use the stovetop, and the rest of the utilities are electric. Electric charges are often over $100, when nothing is being used buy LED lights (infrequently) and a fridge, which is rated to use no more than $15/month. When nearly 200 users give them a 1.04 average rating, I suspect there is some systematic fraud.

***** - To clarify, Conservice is a third-party utility management and billing company contracted through the leasing office to handle the utility billing for your community. We simply bill according to your lease.Billing methods can be different depending on the property you live at. We're happy to review your account and follow up on your utility charges. ********* - I am happy to clarify. The monthly service fee covers processing and consolidating your charges onto one billing statement. It is similar to fees other utility or service providers *** charge to provide similar services. Any other fees that *** be labeled as "rent" would be fees that come from your leasing office directly. I am sorry for any confusion. We're happy to review your account and confirm information specific to your unit. Overcharged me 3x for my final bills at my rental home. Vacated the home for half the final month, and was still hit with a bill higher than any of the months I lived there througout 2 years. Called in, couldnt give me any answers regarding how or why I was being charged for this. Shady company, wouldnt doubt it if they end up being shut down.

Orion - I am sorry for your negative experience. We will follow up on this. To clarify, as a third-party utility management and billing company, we simply pass on any charges received from the local utility providers for your home. Each of these charges are based on your individual consumption. However, once a resident notifies their property they are moving, Conservice prorates the final bill based on previous consumption and billing history to ensure their account is closed in a timely manner. The proration is typically accurate since it is based on previous usage. In reviewing your final statement, I see there are charges covering multiple service periods which is why the total amount due is higher than usual. Since your Conservice account is now closed, any questions or disputes regarding your final bill can be taken up with your property management company directly. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any further questions.

I am so confused as to how now every month since Ive resigned my lease with the property management company that does business with ConService my utility bill has been unavailable for one month and then I get a double bill. The first year I was here in my home my utility bill came monthly, and now all of a sudden the third party company they use cant seem to get my bill out monthly. January I was hit with a $441 double bill and now this month I got hit another double bill for $330! How can they do this and apparently reading their reviews this IS common practice for them. They are robbing us and get away with it. I seen there is a class action law suit against the company and I can totally understand why! Worst business practices EVER! I will be looking into filing a complaint with the BBB, not that it matters because they are not even accredited with them!

******* - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, Conservice processes and pays utility bills as received from the local utility providers. The utility bill amounts are then passed onto the resident. If we do not receive bills for a specific utility, you will not have charges for that utility that month. There may also be months where we receive multiple bills at one time. You can find more information about why this can happen here: *************************************************************************************************************************************. Please note, utilities are typically billed one month at a time, but we have billed for multiple service periods on prior statements to ensure there are no further delays in the service periods being billed. I am sorry for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. All provider bills as well as the Conservice statements are available online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for your reference. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.

I wish I could give 0 stars . This company is charging me for services that have already been paid and cant explain why. I spoke with ******************* and they dont know why I am being charged extra for already paid for services. The girl on the call just kept repeating the same thing and would not let me speak with a manager. There is no reason I should have a 202 water bill when I have already paid.

Tanjenika - I am sorry to hear about your negative experience. We will follow up on this. In reviewing your account, I see one of the charges is coming from the leasing office directly and the other charge is coming from Conservice for the same service period. We're happy to review these charges further and look into making any necessary adjustments. Additionally, I am happy to see you are on the list for a supervisor callback. Supervisors are available upon request and will typically call back within 1-2 business days. You will be contacted within this timeframe. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.

I dont understand how Conservice has the authority to charge for any type of utilities when we run on Wellwater I have tried reaching out to Invitation Homes who partnered with Conservice, and Im still unable to get an answer from any party. I will be reaching out to the Lee county commissioners, ************ water management, and Invitation Homes/Conservice on how this is acceptable. I received the bill for $55 which has all these astronomical charges account set up account fee and one day fee of five dollars. Again explain to me how this is acceptable as I have not until now received any line of communication from the property management that this is taking place and now youre going to put this responsibility on tenants?

Merencia - I regret to see you have not contacted our **************** Team in regards to your concerns. To clarify, Conservice is contracted through Invitation Homes to manage the utilities for your home. We simply bill according to the terms of your lease. Any fees that *** be passed along to you should be outlined in your lease as well.In reviewing your account, I see the only utility bill that has been passed along has been for the electricity. If a utility should be in a resident's name but we receive a bill for it, this typically means the resident does not yet have services in their name which goes against the terms of their lease. This is when vacant charges can occur. The ************** Fee is a flat fee charged due to processing the bill when it should have already been in the resident's name. Please see ******************************************************************************************************************************* for more information. We're happy to review your account and follow up on any other questions or concerns you *** have. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.

Your name is 100% true. Conservice, as in con man, thief, stealing, exploiting. They hung up on me the first 2 times then I got no help once I spoke with someone. This makes me dislike the apartment complex and management because they provided ** with this awful service. Don't move into the **** in **** to save money, the will only steal more money from you.
