      We are going on our 2nd system with Vivint and both have been worthless since the day they were installed. We are senior citizens **** felt very pressured by *** to ***lace 1 set of non-working cameras. *** would not take no for an answer. Weve had to call for service multiple times due to multiple issues such as Offline cameras, panel making high pitch noise, doorbell not functioning, cameras not recording, panel not functioning at all, thermostat not functioning, fogging of cameras. 3 days after new system was installed we called for service ****re informed we had to pay $95 for them to come out. Cameras remain offline more than they have worked. We want a complete refund.

      C*** C*** C*** Don't think this brand is better than the others like I did. Go with Ring, or get a watch dog.. u will encounter problem after problem with them. Then support will have u jumping through hoops to fix their faulty equipment. But when that fails, they will offer to send a tech out at ur own expense.. as if I don't waste enough money paying monthly for this junk. Again, *** don't think this system is elite **** of the name brand, I promise u it's nothing but *******************

      Vivint ***** especially if ur handicapped. I was promised theyd help me day or night if I have a problem. It would be free if it was an emergency. The system breaks constantly I tell them Im handicapped and they tell me to get someone to help me. I have no help thats why I made sure theyd come. Oh theyll come. A month later for $100 extra for a rushed call. A month is a rushed call. Oh and they told a handicapped person to get on a ladder and fix the batteries. I guess their promise to come check the system every year is a lie too. Theyve never come once. Im too sick right now to have them come and remove it. And did I mention the equipment has had to be replaced so many times Ive lost count.

      I was told I had a month for a trial and now I was informed it was three days and I can't get out of my contract. I did NOT sign the paper stating this information and they told me that I'm still liable.

      Terrible Billing ********************************** If I could give zero stars, I would. I canceled my service with vivint months ago, yet I keep getting charged! Ive contacted customer service multiple times, and not only are they unhelpful, but they also give me the runaround every time. No one seems to know how to fix the issue, and they just keep transferring me from one representative to another.This company either has shady billing practices or complete incompetence in handling cancellations. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. I will be disputing the charges and warning everyone to avoid this nightmare of a company

      What a scam!! They sign you up for their credit card to buy the system, which they dont tell you is a third party vendor nor are you able to get a hold of them. Their cameras constantly go offline and they just tell you to unplug and plug it back in but that never solves the problem so you have to do this every day. The panels stop working and they dont send anyone to replace them. I will never be suggesting this to anyone!! They do not help you with any issues you have, the app RARELY works, and forget about retrieving video.

      Vivint has provided services that do not work properly compromising the safety of small children and elderly individuals. I would think twice before doing any business with them as their products are not capable of doing its job and can cause more harm than good.

      They're customer service is outsourced, you can never understand what they're saying. I had to call because the cameras were malfunctioning, if I zoomed in, they would get stuck and keep opening on that same spot stuck in zoom mode, had to rest the app numerous times, had error messages, not sending notifications that people were on the property trespassing while my Mom was dog sitting for us alone, a neighbor trespassed in our driveway at the time, getting a notification and go look to see what set it off, app malfunctioning, by the time I restarted it the umpteenth time, we could have been robbed and the person on their way down the street. Hence having to call customer service, then have to repeat yourself three+ times because they didn't understand the issue or kept repeating the obvious that was already addressed. Go with ADT. This place has outsourced and went to ****, nevermind the beyond persistent sales people they have that come around to flat out harrass you about solar panels. Your cameras ****. Why ** would anyone want your solar panels? Terrible cameras. As far as the alarm panel, our smoke alarm went off a few times recently, security alarm went off, no one followed up like they used to with a phone call. House could have burned down or we could have been murdered during a break in, no one would have known. Look elsewhere. Plenty of security companies out there.

      Had a Vivint system for nearly a year, and I'll bet it hasn't worked for a solid 24 hours for even one day. The mobile app is terrible! It's always about 30 seconds behind real time, and to try to replay event clips works only a fraction of the time. Cameras and lights fall randomly off the network repeatedly every day. Latest, a camera needs replacing, which I requested almost two months ago. I have contacted the company via email, chat, and telephone numerous times. NOTHING has been done. They've screwed up my email address and I can't even login to my online account, and the instructions I was given don't even exist on my hub! Worst investment I've ever made!
