    Terrible management company. The City of Lakewood cited the building several times for plumbing compliance issues and Maxx Properties did nothing. The city notified them 3 days in advance that they would cut water to the building and Maxx Properties did nothing nor did they notify tenants. Our water was cut yesterday at 2pm and we have received no information about when or if the water will be turned back on. Maxx Properties has not provided access to hotel vouchers or made a commitment to reimburse for hotel expenses until the water is turned on. This morning when I went to the front office to request a status update or be provided with hotel reimbursement information I was yelled at by both the front office staff person and the building manager, who she called so that I could be yelled at over the phone, because I wasn't being sympathetic to the staff. We're in day 2 of no water with no end in site.

    They do not know how to manage people you are just a number to them.They say the properties can run themselves, in spite of staff. It is a revolving door they do not care about their employees. Top management comes in and talks down to you. They don't have very many properties so it is a dead end job. Upper management manage their employees with fear. They always tell you what's wrong and never tell what is right.The culture is fear and chaotic and when upper management they expect you to drop everything while they talk down to you. They let me go for no reason and then they tell the resident who ask why they let me go... is unprofessional for them to tell any business of the ppl they fire..

    MAXX Property Management cares deeply about their employees, and strives to find a balance of running a successful, growing business, with the needs of the employees and the tenants it serves. If a need arises to terminate an employee, there are always valid and legal reasons given to that employee. We are sorry that you did not have a good experience while working with us. Best of luck.

    Absolutely horrible company that cheat you out of money! We have multiple issues with this company one including them trying to claim they paid our utilities. We sent bank statements, and statements from *********** clearly stating we paid on time every month and the full amount. *********** utilities even called and had to talk with them and they still were trying to make us pay. They claimed it wasnt enough evidence. That is just one of many. We also uploaded roughly 200 images of damages to our unit prior to moving ANYTHING in to out newly renovated unit and they did nothing. If you are looking for a cruel toxic environment, and looking to be cheated out of hundred and hundreds of dollars then this is the place to be!

    Worst property management EVER. You ask a question and they are condescending. Communication from them is in ALL caps because tenants are dumb, right? Theyre out for your money but the place looks like a dump and its a year old. Theyre always looking to add more fees. They dont answer their phone; but theyll text you in a most rude manner. Theres no one managing the place. Light fixture covers fall and dont get replaced. Please find a better property management company because this one takes the cake in the being the very worst.

    Worst property management I have ever rented from. Their units are brand new yet the cheap flooring is not glued down and the walls are unfinished. If you move furniture (no matter how carefully) the floor rips and they will charge you for the repair. If you bump into the wall (even with your own body) the wall crumbles right off and they will charge you for EVERY *********************. They use black light on the carpet, tear up the "suspicious" pieces and charge you for all of it even if they do not find anything underneath. We cleaned the unit when we moved out, and they STILL spend our entire deposit and charged us additional charges. This is just a few of the horrendous things they do to their tenants. What a scam!

    I am a disabled individual who was provided a 3-day notice to evict the home due to my emotional support pet. As it turns out, in the *************, one can't be given an eviction notice if it's not court ordered. This company threatened to evict me by putting a notice on my door and saying that my roommates and I would need to move out within 3 days if a $500 fee was not paid immediately.******* had been given all my pet's information ahead of my move-in through their requested third-party website that reviewed my pet's information and my therapist's letter. I have all this information documented, and I had followed the protocol to provide them with my pet's information in good faith. I encourage anyone in my situation to stay away from them if possible.
