If I could give a rating of negative stars I would --this has to be the worst company in terms of communications and honesty I have dealt with for the last 25 years. It appears Terminix purchased the company that was providing a service to my residence sometime in 2024 but they never bothered to inform me they had done so, in fact the never contacted me in any way shape or form even though they had my telephone number, billing address, and e-mail account. Yesterday I received a letter in the mail I had been turned over to a collectios company for a past due amount. After a couple of calls it started to come out that ******* had purchased the provider I had been using. They continued to bill me for services, although in truth since they never called to let me know they were servicing my home, and I am away most days, I really have no idea if someone has been to the site or not. They never e-mailed me an invoice in the last 10 months, never called to let me know they were servicing the account and never left anything on the door or in the mailbox informing me the work was really done.If they really purchased the original company they should have had all my contact information. It took the collection person by surprise as well and as we talked she started to realize just how wrong this entire situaton was because of their failure to commuicate--including letting me know they were going to turn my account over to an agency. This is not the way to conduct business. I would never recommend Terminix to anyone under any set of circumstances. Stay as far away as you can from them.Terminix

I STRONGLY DO NOT recommend Termini for your pest control needs, they do not stand behind their promises and my service experience turned out to be the worst! I cancelled my service after 2 consecutive UNSATISFACTORY services, 1 of which was paid for. The 2nd was supposed to be credited which the billing dept. refused since the tech had 3 pics, 1 of the de-weber at the front of the house, 1 of the ground behind and 1 of my pond. After the first unsatisfied service the tech was a no show 2 times for SCHEDULED service. Of course when it was time to pay again he showed up with yet again an UNSATISFACTORY service. Webs were all across the back of the house, of course the tech did not take pics of that. The first no show was reported and I was assured the tech would be there on another scheduled day. Once again he did not show up. After refusal of several appeals to credit my acct I informed Terminix I would send them $10 a month until it was paid in full. My acct has now been turned over to a collection agency. Very unreliable pest control service!Terminix

I requested the rodent service which was $1200 deposit of $224 was charged that day. Two days later I get a notification of another charge of $237.99. When I call on Monday about the charge they said its for the pest control. To come pick up the traps. The gentleman said $1200 total for the service not $2000. Very upset with Terminix. When I clearly stated only the rodent service. This is how they get over on people adding extra service on top of a service. Plus the guy that came out smell like 4 packs of cigarettes and had 1 tooth in his mouth with a brace on his foot. I cancel my service with them will never do business with them again.Terminix

Ive been a Terminix customer for about 10 years. I used to be in the ************** (**) and Ive never run into problems until I relocated and am dealing with the Jacksonville branch. Bad communication about scheduling and just picking a day to show up when they want, texts from techs at 9pm, inconsistent quality of work (no dewebbing etc), and NOW.i discovered I wasnt being charged for my termite bait system anymore even though it was set to auto pay. I got different answers from different ***resentatives over the phone. One telling me that I cancelled my service (I didnt) one saying I had a bad debt from not paying (I didnt) and sending me to a bogus collections number, and finally I reached someone who apologized and said they were reinstating my service and charging me the $32.67 monthly charge for the termite bait service. The next morning I wake up to an email thanking me for my payment of $4357.00!!!!!!! It hadnt come out of my bank yet and I reached out to Terminix to make sure they didnt take it out. They assured me they would send a message over and they would have it resolved in ***** hrs. Then a couple days pass and the amount was taken out of my bank account anyway. I call again (thats this morning) and the phone *** says she will put in another note to have a supervisor call me and it will take ***** hrs. She said she cannot connect me to a supervisor and I have to wait for them to call me. This company should not be trusted with your banking information! $4357.00 was taken out and they dont think this needs immediate attention!!!??? Even if I hear from them in 24 hrs, thats not acceptable! From reading other reviews this type of thing seems to be a common issue. I will be cancelling with them and contacting my lawyer!Terminix

Horrible experience! Wish I could give them zero stars. We paid them $900 to get rid of the squirrels in our attic. They showed up told us it was one squirrel and sealed up what they assumed was the only entry point. A couple of weeks later, we were still hearing the squirrel and come to find out the squirrel had gotten through the mesh they used so after sending them pics because they didn't believe us, they came back and resealed it. The squirrel is definitely still coming in and out through another way and they told us that it wasn't and we could pay them a couple more hundred to trap the squirrel. My husband went to the attice today (3 months later) and sure enough there are 3 squirrels up there. Money wasted! Now, we have to contact someone else to do the job correctly. Never again!!Terminix

Would not use Terminex again. They did get rid of our indoor termites. We signed a contract & paid up front for termite removal & indoor pest control issues. We paid in full up front. They only took care of termites. Never once contacted us after they got our money. Then started taking monthly payments out of our bank account for the indoor pest control ( which they didnt provide). Apparently they took the info off of the check we gave ********* realized the money was being withdrawn from our bank account. We are still awaiting reimbursement. We will not be using them again. Very disappointed with ************** of customer support .Terminix

I had a long standing pest control and termite service with Terminix. I had both my mother and father die within a few months of each other and decided to move rather abruptly. I notified my service person that I had moved and to please not service the house. There were also instructions to never enter my back yard without previous approval due to my dogs. They serviced the house anyway. I called and apologized that I did not call the corporate office as I was overwhelmed at the time with the passing of both parents. I was told that they would send it to the local manager to have it waived. I went through this ongoing call process for months and now find that they placed my account in collections. To say that I am disgusted is an understatement. How can a company be so unforgiving especially after I had been a great customer for nearly twenty years? Please stay away from Terminix!Terminix

I was contacted by Terminex who apologized for charging me and stated they were removing the charge a few weeks ago. Today, I just received another notice from a collection agency that they never removed the charge and my account remains in collections. Terminex has consistently lied to me. My credit is very good as I pay all my bills on time and this has been one of the worst experiences I have had with an organization.Review fromV. A.

I have been a program for over a year and nothing has worked for Flea removal from my home. I take my pets into the groomer every 3 months in addition to the vet once a month for fleas treatment. The tech's never show sometimes or come at times that were not scheduled. I am not going to take my pets outside for 4 hours if there was no appointment for that day. I do not believe they are spraying in the correct areas as to why I am still seeing the pests for over a year. I filed a complaint with customer service and had heard nothing for two weeks. So I finally called they said that the manager denied the refund. So I am trying to raise this up the flag pole to somebody at corporate for a FULL REFUND as a result of insufficient service that I was promised. In addition the techs did not spray the proper areas or not sufficient amount of product was not used. This is why the problem still exists. PLEASE HELP!!!!!Terminix

The worst experience ever and I am still trying to get them to get this fixed, work was in November 2024.What started as a wildlife exclusion with hidden charge of not including tax (job not completed), told I needed a complete clean and installation of attic, loan I got did not include tax (which I have disputed) and trying to not complete service until paid, no return calls and needing to dispute a charge for warranty of service that I was never told that my lifetime warranty had a cost. Same issue as the other reviewers here. They called us to ask if we wanted to renew a service we never had in the first place and when I said NO they came out and charged our card anyway. It took weeks of back and forth for them to finally get us our refund. And this was during Christmas time, so funds were a bit tight. So cause we had to do all the leg work and call around to see what was taking so long, only to find out they messed up the paper work on their end and the refund got denied, we decided to cancel our actual pest control plan with them. This was the first week of January 2025. Its March 19th and we are still getting calls, texts, and mail saying we owe them money for an existing plan. They keep saying they cancel it when we call them but they dont actually cancel it. This place is full of liars and scammers. Dont give them your time or money. Oh and if a company charges vastly differently rates at different times of the year its a scam. We were paying $65 a month for our basic plan and when all this s*** went down they offered $20 a month for the same plan. And I know a friend that was paying $40 from the start of their plan.Terminix
