In April of this year we contacted Terminix looking to get quotes for dealing with our ant and wasp issues. We were told a hold would be put on our card, and we would be speaking about signing up for an account and all the terms that came with that if all went well after they looked around. When they showed up, they said they were going to look around and also spray, free of charge. At some point during all of this, we were signed up against our wishes for a subscription and no explanation was ever given. We never agreed to recurring payments, we never signed any agreement (in fact we found a copy of the paperwork filed online that shows we never signed), and we are still fighting three months after the events just to get the account cancelled, forget about any kind of refund. Just today we called and was asked if we realized that cancelling early would trigger an early cancellation fee. Hard to know that when we never signed the paperwork to consent to begin with.They still haven't cancelled the account. We're waiting to hear back yet again.This company can clearly only get business via shady fraudster tactics, and keep it via runarounds. Avoid at all costs. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!I have been a Terminix customer for years. However, their ******************** are getting worse and worse every time. Their phone customer service is TERRIBLE! They are extremely rude, they never apologize and they make sure to make you feel awful. They obviously never heard of the "customer is always right" saying. I ask every single time to get the inside of my house sprayed too and every single time they only schedule me for outside services so then I have to call and make sure they come inside too.I have in the past asked to speak to a manager and to this date I am still waiting.They keep raising their prices up but their services are definitely getting worse and worse.Every time they come they go to the basement and leave all the lights and doors open so after they leave I have to go downstairs and turn off all the lights and close the doors (how about leave things how you found them???)I requested a treatment in between my quarterly services and now I am receiving an invoice because the treatment was within 15 days of my quarterly service!! Unbelievable!! How about you don't charge me for that in between service and then schedule another treatment when my quarterly treatment is and then charge me for it??? And what's worst is that I called to speak to customer service about it and the man that answered me was extremely RUDE and not kind at all. Again WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! I paid for a 3 month program with them coming out every 2 weeks, it started of Ok, then after calling several times and only being called back once, I called back several more times and still No one has called me back yet, appts made with out my approval and associates showing up on days Not approved by meReview fromJean B

It's a waste of time including the free FREE inspection, you might as well buy some caulk and steel wool along with some posion and/ or traps and do it your self. He fast talked through out the whole thing, gave me some off the wall price. Then asked him *********** if they took money orders he says yes THREE times, then says we need to set up a auto pay basically where they can take money when ever rather service has been provided or not. Which sounds like something that should have been said up front Sounded like one big ol scam to me, if anybody ever tells you you won't get a better deal than what they have shop around there's always better trust me.Terminix

I worked for Terminix for 7 years and parted ways after ***************************** decided to make everything political with *********************** on how to manage. I started my own small business to control wildlife in ******. Been successful for over 4 months. Today, I received a letter in the mail regarding a complaint from the state from none other than a Terminix employee that befriended both of the the individuals I couldn't work with. They talk about being ethical in each meeting, but since I departed, there has been nothing ethical from them. My name was slandered for anything that wrong, bad reviews from other jobs who called to reference employment, and now this. Definitely not a company who should be talking about giving back and being ethical.Review fromOscar M.

I've been with Terminix for years now and quite frankly have not had the poor service/treatment that I have recently received. We requested a termite inspection due to fiding some activity in the house, the sales agent offered a package that would come out several times for treatment (s) of affected areas, we agreed and signed the paperwork, I have yet to receive some sort of confirmation via email of the services that I purchased but I sure did receive a **** from the finance company SMAC, I have tried on numerous occasions to reach out to the sales agent and have been unsuccessful, I was able to get a hold of him once and he stated he would take care of it and nothing has happened, I emailed him to follow up and no response, this email was before memorial day weekend. We are due treatments and no one has come by, as soon as my contract is up I will be moving to a different pest control company.Review fromDeborah S.

NEVER WORK WITH TERMINIX, specifically with ********************* who is South ********* Branch Manager. I began paying for their services June of 2021, and absolutely no work was done on their end. I had to call multiple times to even get someone to come out and assist with the rodent issue we had been dealing with. I finally decided to cancel my services with them at the beginning of April 2022 (since we had to hire a different extermination company who quickly resolved our issue) and ********************* VERBALLY AGREED and later confirmed via email (which I have proof of) that my services with Terminix were to be cancelled and I was not to be held financially responsible for the remaining balance. Since then, my account has not been officially closed and they are continuing to charge me for the remaining balance. I have spoken to multiple representatives over the phone, and the issue was even escalated to the company's VP (who also has refused to get back to me). My perfect credit score has been severely ruined and it's all because of this company and their terrible, unprofessional, and unresponsive "management" team who thrive off scamming their customers. Do yourself a HUGE favor and AVOID Terminix at ALL COSTS. I am now currently in disputes with my credit score company, and actively working with lawyers to get my issue resolved since no one from Terminix is able to assist.Review fromAlexandra G

We called Terminix to do service at our home. When the representative came and went over pricing everything was supposed to be a bundle and come to find out it was a lie. The service wasn’t done in my home and they left trash in the attic. I called Terminix the entire month of May regarding a service that was not done correctly and that My husband did their job in fixing the problem. Not only have the representative told me the manage would give me a call in 24-48 hrs I never received the call. I am beyond pissed with a company who cannot commit to a service they agreed to do. Bad customer service and noting but broken promises of phone call. They will not get another dime from me.Terminix
