Purchased a lawnmower 2021 ….it lasted 1 summer and now it will not start… the warranty is a scam as it takes atleast 12 weeks to get it repaired! Please stay far away from the lawnmowers as the repair shop said they all break within a year…terrible customer service

I have many ***** tools ranging from own mowers, weeded, edger, saw, hammer drill etc. and have always had great customer services if I’ve ever had problems such as a dead battery. However last summer I purchased mu second electric pressure washer, much more power, and an attachment to do flat surfaces easier. First use was a glory. Instant gratification. Stored it in a closet. Pulled it out to use for the second time in less than a year. Worked on some furniture and worked great. Then it turned off. I went to check and turn back on and the place where the battery is enclosed in plastic is bubbling over. The machine is literally burning from the inside out. I go online to look for a shop for warranty return/repair. Nothing. I call and they tell me that I have to drive to their nearest approved shop - 75 miles away to drop it off and then maybe pick up. So I have to drive, was a defective dangerous product in my car for an hour and a half away from Orlando, a metropolitan city, to a place in the middle of no where, drive back home and then maybe drive the whole 3 hour trip again. The only other option is to pay for shipping it to the same store. Yes pay to ship a 65lb hazardous machine in the mail. WARRANTY?! How is that a warranty?! That’s a defective product that now is a danger to my house just sitting outside of it! I am absolutely disturbed by this company and their absolute refusal to abide by their warranties let alone a hazardous product defect that they want me to take liability for and put others at risk and lie to ship. I just wanted a new machine. I actually wanted to stay loyal.

My husband purchased a ***** generator in November 2017 within a year of owning it the Carburetor went, we had to fight tooth and nail for the company to replace it and actually had to put money down while they made sure the problem was under warranty, after deciding it was under warranty they refunded that money. We have barely needed to use this machine, however my husband runs it every 4 months, changes the oil and gas and it is stored out of the elements in a shed. We recently were expecting inclement weather with possible power outages, my husband went out to start it and once again the machine is completely dead, he stayed outside in the rain for hours trying to diagnosis the problem to no avail. For the price of this machine and what seems to be quite clear we purchased a lemon I feel the company owes it to their customers to provide a much longer warranty on such products. Every time I called their customer service it was very hard to get anyone to be helpful. Prior to this purchase I thought RYOBI sold a good product, however we also purchased a ***** lawnmower which has had nothing but problems, and again within a year of owning required repair. I normally am not someone who writes negative reviews, however this is just unacceptable. I hope people read this and do their homework before purchasing any ***** products, I know we will never purchase a ***** product again.

Less than a year ago, I purchased a **** ***** Vacuum with a limited 1-year warranty. After approximately using the vacuum once per month (maybe 12 times total) in the common areas of our apartment, cleaning the brush 3-4 times over the course of the year... the brush roll broke. Of course the limited 1-year warranty doesn't cover brush rolls as, "There is NO warranty for consumable items such as light bulbs, belts, beater brushes, motor brushes, disposable bags and filters." Which is fine. So I contacted Dirt Devil, only to find that they do not sell the brush roll for this particular vacuum separately. What could have been a $20- $30 fix, turned into a $60-$70 endevor. As a multinational, multimillion dollar company, I figured there was something they could do about a product in which they DO NOT sell this particular part separately. Very disappointing.

I am a homeowner who purchased a ***** ***** electric garden sprayer less than one year ago. After using the sprayer for about two months, the on/off plunger switch (under the handle) began to constantly get jammed. ***** will not replace the unit and expects me to drive half an hour to a service center to have them look at it and see if they can repair it. I was told by the service center that the repair could take several months, depending on the part. This is not what I paid for. I will purchase another sprayer from a more reputable company and deposit my ***** in the trash. My recommendation is DO NOT BY ***** TOOLS!

I have been trying since July 15th to get re-imbursed for delivery and return charges for my $3,000.00 ***** riding mower that started having problems after only 8 months. Before I even cut grass for the first time! It was still under warranty. I also paid $349.00 for the extended warranty. It kept getting worse until it finally would not start. after about 11 1/2 months I took it to home depot to be sent for service. On 7/14 home depot called and said my mower was back. I had it picked up on 7/15 and called ***** about re-imbursement for delivery and return of my mower under warranty. While my mower was being repaired, I called ***** and was assured my mower was under warranty and I would be re-imbursed. I called every day for 2 weeks and no one answered the phone so I left messages. On 8/1 I I talked to Matthew. He said to send him specific information so I did. He said he would take care of it. I heard nothing back so on 9/19 I called and talked to Greg. He said he was the head trainer and he would handle it. He asked for more information. I sent him pictures; model number; claim number; serial number; everything you could imagine. He said he would send it to claims department and ask them to put my claim near the top. It is now November 29th and I am still waiting for re-imbursement. I am 73 years old and am not used to being treated with such dis-respect and basically being ignored. This is not my first ***** but it will be my last. I am very unhappy and upset with *****. I have always considered them to be top notch and respectable. I would appreciate at least a response to my complaint. I would also like to get my re-imbursement which I deserve. I enjoy my electric mower very much. Please honor your warranty and send my re-imbursement. Thank you.

Bought two sets of hart products from Walmart. Not even 1 month old and they won't hold a charge the drills smell like they are catching on fire when using them. Contacted hart and they basically told me I'm on my own because the store warranty is up.

I bought a Homelight string trimmer from HD.com in March. I had problems from day one. I could not return it to HD because it was bought through HD.com. I called Homelight and talked to a customer service representative. After the service instructions were explained to me, I asked to speak to a supervisor. This woman became abrasive, I asked to speak to a supervisor NINE times. She was passive/aggressive, rude and unprofessional. I could not believe I was being treated this way. I have since established communications with Taylor in customer service. Nine times...

Purchased two air strike nailers one never worked right out of the box. Second one worked for 15 mins and now nothing. No customer service at their number text number or live web chat. I now have two useless tools and spent close to $400 including batteries. Horrible tools.
