Despicable, I bought a ***** drill PCL206 as part of a 6 tol combo kit. After the second use it was smoking A LOT and had an awful burnt plastic smell. Getting a hold of support was near impossible, finalyl got someone on text. They want me to driver 1+hrs away to drop it off at a service center, will not cover shipping to the service center. Shopping would be 30$ but teh drill is only worth 75$. This company and product do not stand by their quality products and the rep i spoke with did nothing but recite the warranty policy to me over and over. They should be ashamed. Do not buy ***** productsReview fromReza P

This product is dangerous and should not be sold in ******* or any other stores. I purchased the product from ******* in Naples Florida and after 20 minutes of using the product it blew up leaving me scarred for life and have spent a fortune in medical care. I contacted ******* store for several weeks and told them that the product was purchased from them to no avail and also contacted Walmart headquarters and they never got back to me despite opening a incident number. I reached out to BBB and they got ******* to contact me only for ******* to pass me on to the manufacturer of the product. The product is a ***** *** **** *** 2.5 Gallon pressure washer provided to ******* by "Techtronic Industries Power equipment". I was contacted by Techtronics Industries but they never followed through. They asked for all photos, videos and evidence of the Emergency hospital visit, doctors visits and paperwork. All they offered in return was for me to box up the dangerous power washer and ship it out to them whilst my arm is damaged and scarred for life as a result of the faulty power washer. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS as they are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. I almost lost both my eyes.Review fromTina S

6/14/23 I’ve called 1-800 numbers to find the replacement part and was advised the part has been discontinued or is on back order and may not be in until October, maybe. Prior to that I tried order the part, but there are not pictures to compare to the item I need to purchase. I called to complain to the IT department to suggest placing pictures on theirs order site. Apparently he could only help with the registration. Mind you that was done after receiving a call back 4 hours later. Afterwards I was the transferred to claims department and placed on hold for an hour before disconnecting. 6/15/23: 10am: I called to speak with someone but there is no one available for claims, requested for a call back. 12:25 Tried chat received AI, and it tried to connect to a live advisor. 12:55: live advisor connected. 1:09: Live chat advisor was able to assist, but pre-type and paste info to speed the process up. ***** has serious customer service issues related claims with a live person for claims. So far, I have spent a whole day and half to make a claim. If you are not tech savvy, then you will have issues. I wanted to put a recommendation to place pictures on it’s ordering site. From what I have learned number of hours dealing *****: it would be a massive change for the supplier place pictures on its website for order parts, and probably not something they're interested in taking on. There is no suggestion center. Several technicians tried to help me figure out if there was gasket for the dust bowl, but without pictures it was no help. After speaking with different agents one mentioned they just replace the unit since parts are not sold at this time. Best of luck, to those who use the phone for claims. ***** if you read this, the customer service for ordering parts would be so much more efficient if you use picture to reference too with the order number. Also, on the item sold, place the letter SN: by the number that is the serial number.Review fromJordan A

***** 2300 psi electric powerwasher under factory 3 year warranty began to leak around pump at the end of last season. I went to ****** ***** repair center in Mercer PA in February 2023. It is now june 11th and neither the repair center or ryobi warranty can get a form submitted. I will never buy ***** again after this experience. The factory warranty is a drawn out and planned out scam.Review fromTeresa R

Well, it seems I having the same problem trying to get a hold of someone to ask about a warranty. I called twice to be left on hold for 3 hours with no answer, I left my number for return call, never received a call. I sent an email and still have not received any response. I purchased a gas power washer and used it a total of 4 times and now the fuel valve is leaking. I read the warranty and I believe it is covered, however, I wold like to know the protocol of getting it repaired and reimbursed if I could get a hold of anybody at *****. I will also complain to **** ***** that this is a very poorly customer service product to be selling.Techtronic Industries Power Equipment

This is my second ***** zero turn mower. The first one quit working after 2 months, the blades would stop when you were cutting grass. They did replace it with another mower. The new one lasted one year and started doing the same thing. In September 2022, ***** had me take it to a lawn mower shop. Today is May 30th 2023 and it is still in the shop. ***** will not send them parts, return their email or phone calls. I am sorry to say that after they exchanged my first one I was so impressed with their customer service that I changed all my tools over to ***** One+ 18V. I also talked my neighbor into buying a ***** zero turn mower. *****, you charge so much for zero turn mowers I wish you would appreciate your customers enough to give them better customer service. I now have a $6000. mower that does not work.Review fromTJ T

My ***** Line trimmer motor cuts out after a few minutes. The battery works with my ***** hedge trimmer, so it's likely not a battery issue. I had the line trimmer services through **** ***** and they found nothing wrong. I used the line trimmer again and the same issue is happening. I contacted ***** again and they informed me I would need to drive 40 miles to get the line trimmer serviced. This is unacceptable and there has to be a better way to get the line trimmer serviced.Review fromJoseph P

***** was contacted 7 months ago. To Sophia assistant manager **** ***** (9/12/2022) “if, as a dealer, you can get in touch with *****, I would appreciate it” (Informing her the lawn mower dangerously threw itself into reverse). (9/13/2022) “I have [given] ***** your contact information.” (9/30/2022) “still haven’t been contacted by Ryobi.” (9/30/2022) “once again contacted Ryobi…I gave them this e-mail address along with your phone number.” According to one of your technicians, ***** knew this was a problem “if the batteries are dropping their voltage [and] the battery pack drops too low under a load, …the controller will lose the zero position for the accelerator” meaning the mower doesn’t know if it is going backward WHEN IN FORWARD. With only 9 months’ use, after only 25 minutes of operation, the mower throws itself into reverse. It has been at an authorized ***** repair location for Two Months. I have a video showing the mower set to forward immediately going into reverse, at full speed, a lethal hazard on my property.Techtronic Industries Power Equipment

For 3 days (beginningvat 9am) I've attempted to contact the company on website and phone. Each day when I called, I waited in hold for over 3 hours. Finally (each time) I entered my phone number for a call back. The recording said I would receive call back in the order my call was received (in the call queue) My calls were never answered or returned. I want to file a request for repair, replacement or refund for the ***** lawn mower I purchased one year ago. It has a 3 year manufacturer warranty. It worked last summer. This summer it worked once. But now it will no longer start. (despite a fully-charged battery) The mower has not been damaged. It is clean, During winter it was kept in garage and battery was kept in house. When I purchased it, I also bought a repair service plan from **** ***** (********) But, they won't cover any repairs, until After end of manufacturer 3 yr warranty, or IF manufacturer cant fix the mower. But I can't get in touch with Techtronics. I would not recommend their ***** lawn mowers. I've now read they don't last. Poor quality product, and poor customer service from this business.
