  Prior to the recent acquisition by another company AJ B******** was stellar in both service and customer service. Sadly, that is no longer the case. In Addition to the lack of service on numerous occasions, failing to answer the phone, being on hold for more than 40 minutes at a time, being disconnected, told pick-up is on one day then change it, and call it weather related when there was no weather incident, this company is poorly managed. There have been times where we've placed our container out and they never pick-up and never say why, then a day or two later they will send a note saying there is a delay and to put out container next day, but then they don't actually come the next day. Sometimes they don't even come the day after that. There have been times where they say the next day and never show up until the next actual pick-up day. With recycling that means they have left if for over 2 weeks since they decided to go to a bi-weekly pickup for recycles at the same price they were already charging. This is very bad management to tell the consumer they have a delay after the consumer already knows this and then they don't actually do their jobs anyway. This and much more has already been played over and over by all the customers who've had to deal with this company. I was told it was growing pains and to just hang on, so I did. I recalled the quality of the previous company and was fooled by this "growing pains' comment, however,... The current owners are CROOKS! In addition to the above issues, they have stolen money from me and will not return it. I have ALWAYS paid promptly despite their lack of service. Lack of space disallows for deeper explanation but shortened is they CANCELLED the service we were using with LESS than 30 days notice AFTER they took my money. In February I asked for a REFUND and now it's APRIL and they still haven't refunded!

  The reviews speak for themselves. I would give negative stars if I could. Avoid this company at all costs. This company and Eagle Disposal (also a horrible company) were both bought out by Waste Connections. Avoid all three names, these people are the scum of the earth. I unfortunately have had no choice in the matter over the past 3 years as residents in our township are required to use the trash company that the township awards a contract to. “Eagle Disposal” at the time had the lowest bid and was awarded our township contract and we have been stuck with it ever since. My complaints, along with many neighbors have gone to the Pennsylvania Attorney Generals office. The company received a small fine from the state but still hasnt improved. Now that our township has finally decided not to renew the trash contract at the end of the month (and we have all paid our quarterly bills to the company already) they just arent collecting trash and recycling because they know there is nothing we can do about it since the state wont act. I hope that anything and everything associated with Waste Connections, AJ Bloseknsi, and Eagle Disposal goes bankrupt and fails quickly so they do not continue to take advantage of people.

  We were switched from Charles B******** to AJ B********. They have not picked up our trash in 4 weeks, nor my neighbors across the street. One of the neighbors has 10 children. Trash is everyone in their yard and the street. It is unsightly and a health hazard. Since the company was sold to Waste Connections it has gone downhill. I have been on the phone numerous times with their representatives and nothing gets done. There is no recourse to another trash company as there are no others that service our area. I am actively looking for another one. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

  AJ B******** has completely gone down hill since Waste Connections took ownership. They have skipped trash and recycling for 3 weeks in a row. I call in and get put on hold for 50 minutes. All to become caller number two when then they disconnect me. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. It’s a shame because AJ used to have the best service around.

  What is going on with AJ B********?? My husband and I were longtime customers however since the business was sold to new owners, the quality of service has fallen to basement level. What can customers do when the business decides not to pick up trash or recycling as scheduled. They promise to get it the following week but don’t. Please check Facebook for posts from dissatisfied customers and pictures of trash piling up. They are compensated quarterly I believe up front. Is that legal for a business to take money under false pretenses? Run do not walk away from AJ B********, anyone who wants their trash picked up. We had no choice but to terminate our relationship with them. Then to add insult to injury, they did not pick up the Turnberry Farms development trash/recycling yet again.

  Awful customer service. Very unprofessional company. After numerous issues, (literally too many to list) we terminated our contract. They would not pick up their bins for a month. After multiple calls they finally got them. Then 5 mo later, they charge us $125 for not returning the bins!

  Waste Connections bought out A J Blosenski and ruined the good name of the company. They miss pickups more often than they show up. They've combined waste and recycling into one truck when they do finally show. They are a disgrace to the industry. Blosenski never had man power issues, their most used excuse for not showing up, before these asshats bought them out. I can only assume that they are terrible to work for, and underpay their employees, Though I'm sure the executives are well compensated. I'd give them zero stars if I could.

  This company is awful. They expect payment on time but give substandard service. They spent most of this past summer not collecting my trash or giving excuses. I received NO discounts as promised and now, their service is non-existent again. They have not picked up my trash OR recycling and they are not even responding to my calls or email. I wish I could change companies but the only other company that is working at this type of job is even worse than Blosenski. Something has to give regarding this place. I can't stand much more of this.

  This trash/recycling service used to be excellent. However the business was sold and ever since, their service declined considerably. Their answer for staffing issues was to reduce our Trash collection in half (twice a week to once a week). They reduced recycling collection in half as well (once a week to once every other week). All without a reduction to the price we are paying for the now significantly reduced service. They believe that providing a larger container for the recycling some how evens out the reduction in service. I called customer service in an attempt to negotiate a new price for their service and was told plainly that, "there will be no reduction in the price for their services."
