As a Guard, my Account Manger is never present. you message him and he will never respond. he even hired someone as a middle man just to avoid us contacting him. You text the Account manger its the middle man replying as if hes too above us to speak to you directly. and dont even get me started on him forgetting to pay people. Guards OT hours have been cut or not counted because he forgot or was busy and when you do get the money youre taxed on it again! If the job market wasnt in the trash i would leave i am literally stuck here. We recently got a raise and was told guards who have certain added certifications would receive an added .50 on top of the raise. that was a lie!!Review fromNick G

I would select 0 stars if i could. WORST company to work for. They have horrible training, Make you sign off on training that was not completed and then write you up for something you don't know. HR is a JOKE, and is no help. You file complaints and then they terminate you for reporting issues at work sites. Pay a arm and leg for benefits and they are horrible. They don't give vacation or days off. No communication or respect between management . I was Terminated for using the restroom and taking a seat because i was tired after working a 16.5 hour shift and returning to work for another 16 hours with less than 6 hours of sleep. I work at at site that is in **** violations as they have people working there NOT cleared to work there, and manager brags about to it everyone. Manager has NO teeth Wonder why this company can't keep employees. And they have multiple lawsuits against them with another one coming their way. Have multiple statements from employees at the site that are witnesses to the bullying that is taking place at my location.Review fromLogan T

This review is in regards to the **************************************************** *******, ** location. They'll hire you, have you go through onboarding, online training, and *** training, then never message you again, or respond to anything you send them. Nor do they even send you the *** certification that you went through the training for. Stay far away from this company. Even HR won't answer back. This is easily the most unprofessional security company I have ever encountered.Review fromED W

-No Stars-wasnt a choice but I chose the Lowestrating possible.Allied Universal Security managers have No Teeth, cavities Galore, three managers refused to bathe and were incredibly filthy and smelled. There was one ****, smelly, employee through the so called managers protection and schemes who continued to sleep on the job and the innocent employee was written up and threatened of his job.The Guilty, creep was allowed to stay on the job, patrolling the premises when he deserved to be Fired. The harassment of the good employees shocked me but the bullying and yelling at employees happened all the time.I took a video for proof that this new manager had NO People Skills, or training whatsoever and she needed to be Fired immediately. The customers who paid for this ********************** on Post, their employees were harassed as well. The so called managers sleep on the job, eat a whole pizza by herself three times a week and wonders why shes so Obese and has gained 40lbs.The Unintelligent attempts at management and constant lying and dishonesty runs their day. They live for this Bullying and it isnt right to not tell the truth.Leaving was the Best decision,we are now and always were appreciated by past managers. Allied Universal Security managers were mean, stinky, cheap to fix Any repairs on Patrol vehicles.I paid out of my own pocket for two flat tires, car washes, and windshield washer refills. They never offered to reimburse my costs either.Bullying doesnt build trust in a company and 32 hrs. Is Not 40hrs.Mismanagement of Payroll and the manipulation of our pay and hours that were promised is exactly why Allied Universal Security has poor reviews and unpaid wages Lawsuits against them. They pretend all that you witnessed never happened, the bullying was the worst from ******** with his loud, big mouth wasnt even close to good management. He and she P,were Bullies and Just constantly full of Lies, Lies,Lies and Terrible Leadership!Review fromWilliam B

I've been working in buildings secured by Allied Universal for over 4 years now. In ********* they seem to work in almost every major building in the city center. I have had so many unnecessarily unpleasant encounters with them while trying to do my job, that this BBB review won't give me the space to list all of them. I have been harassed with arbitrary rule changes, not just from day to day, but from employee to employee, even those sharing the same shift and location. I've been told that they've recorded me breaking their rules in the hopes to get a confession out of me (they're so inept that they never catch me breaking their rules, but can accuse me when I haven't). I've had to break into multiple loading docks and rooms do to the lack of any security. To clarify, I'm allowed and required to be in these locations, but have on several occasions found no security to let me in and have had to go through improperly locked doors (I know which doors are and aren't locked better then their own employees). I've seen them take over an hour to simply unlock a door, and even after an hour, not be able to locate any kind of key. I have seen my other coworkers be trapped in the top floors of some of Charlottes biggest buildings, with no way to exit incase of an emergency. The list goes on. To think, that many of this countries largest bank headquarters are guarded by these people makes me grateful that my bank isn't located in *********. In addition I've been told by a few of their good employees that they don't make much, probably the same as an average gas station employee. If I ran a security company I'd pay my employees well and expect the best from them, not try to provide warm bodies for as cheaply as possible. Incase any management from Allied Universal reads this, I would take the lack of any terrible incident under your watch not as a sign of a job well done, but as a sign of good fortune. Allied Universal provides terrible security, and shouldn't be trusted.Review fromJean S

What company writes up an employee in their first 60 days of employment???????????? Allied Universal that's the company. I called the *** (Officer ** Charge) for instructions how to handle a situation. I did EXACTLY what I was told. Next day, the *** that told me what to do and site supervisor pull me in and give me a write up. I had not completed 60 days of training. RIDICULOUS. AND, I did what I was told and the guy still had the nerve to write me up. DONT WORK HEREReview fromNicole M

Tuesday July 09, 2024 my son and I went to *** to charge our phones. Both of our phones were %20 and below and we share one charger. We both entered the establishment where gardening and produce is located. This was roughly around 9am or a little after. My son and I proceeded to charge our phones where the motor carts were located. I did ask one of the cart associates where along the wall ( where the motor carts were parked) could I charge my phone. The one available outlet that wasn't covered didn't work. Once the associate directed where along the wall me and my child went through roughly each outlet until we found on that worked. We were not the only individuals there trying to charge our phones. Some left and some went inside the store. During that time a male cart associate approached and one other person providing us with water. I allowed my son to charge his phone first and it took over 30mins just for his phone to get up to %40. While my child was charging his phone he at the time was watching media, ex. ******** tiktok etc...During that moment I wasn't aware having the phone on and watching videos would to pass the time would help slow the process. At home I can do all the above and my phone will fully charge in less than ***** minutes. Eventually a gentlemen approached me and son ( didn't realize he was a manager right off the back), he pardon himself to charge the motor carts. The same man came back and directed us to a charge station he set up in front of garden. The charge once we moved was still extremely slow. As time passed security came by and checked in as well as various managers and shoppers to charge their phone. As time passed my son's phone was still low and it was passed an hour. Another individual needed to charge their phone, and mind you theres plenty of ports available along the strip. Out of everyone there, she singled me out, told me to get up and give someone else a chance to charge their phone. Mind you my son is still charging hisReview fromTnae B

I had a phone interview scheduled and without warning it was canceled. No communication to reschedule. Rude older woman is answering phones at the downtown *** location. Unprofessional is an understatement. This company has too many contracts to the point they loose a connection with their employees. Its a revolving door. People need to stop leaving reviews on ****** and flagging their job posts.
