    The Stiltz Lift has made our lives so much easier. As we are older, we needed the ability to get to our large basement more easily than steep stairs. We installed a Stiltz Lift and moved our washer and dryer to a new basement laundry room. It's now easy to get to our woodworking shop, laundry room, bulk food item purchases, and storage items. No more lugging items up and down the stairs. Everyone who visits has to take a ride on our new Lift and marvel at how much easier it would be if they or a relative installed one.

    Ordered on 8 December and installed on 28 December. The installation crew, Tad Stoker and his sons, out of Blackfoot Idaho, were able to do it in one day. I wanted to reach my basement and this was the ideal way to do it.
    Highly recommend for boomers wanting to stay in their homes while aging.

    We love our elevator! It makes life much easier for an elderly person.
    Installing a Stiltz lift is much cheaper than moving into a one-story house.
    We are traveling a lot. We appreciate the fact that we can transport our heavy luggage with the elevator instead of lugging it up the stairs.

    We had an excellent installation of our Stiltz Elevator with the help of The main office in PA and the office in Las Angeles, Spencer Mike and the 2 lady's that did the installation. They office service in our are ( Los Angeles) is great, answer the phone or email on very short time and they are very nice. we having the Lift for more than a year, it has performed beautifully and we are very happy with it. My wife uses it constantly during the day to go between our first floor and the seconds floor . Heartily recommend Stiltz Elevator.

    We live in California in a big house, over 2700 sq feet and when we realized it’s too much home for the 2 of us, we’re confronted with the moving dilemma, and realized that adopting the home to our future needs would be easier than moving. The lift idea came to fruition and for a fraction of the cost and disruption we enhanced and improved our home for years to come, without leaving 20 years of improvements and making this new house, our home. We still only use our elevator sporadically, maybe just once a week, but we know it’s there to carry heavy things up and down. It’s also a great ride for our 3 grandkids.

    Our Stiltz Duo Alta elevator has been an essential part of mitigating the mobility challenges we have. Our house in San Diego is a story and half above the street level. My wife has badly arthritic knees and handling the stairs between the garage and the house was a real problem. The elevator now allows her to get from parking to kitchen with ease. As for the installation itself, all good. Our installation contractor was "Aging in Place" in San Diego. They are an excellent and professional outfit that I would highly recommend. The elevator itself is great quality. We did have to get the installation team back once to adjust the stops, but rest has been smooth sailing. I highly recommend this product.

    The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the $395 fee for "servicing" a normally functioning lift.
    I have the Duo and use it to get to my art studio, as the existing spiral stairwell was designed
    for a dwarf (I'm 6' 190#). The service fee aside, I am very happy with this elevator.

    I just love my Stiltz Lift! I was recently diagnosed with Parkinsons disease, and stairs pose a problem for me. I love my 2 story home and don’t want to even consider moving. A friend asked if I had ever considered putting in an elevator. We checked it out and not only was that super expensive but they said it would take 5 months to complete the job! Another friend told me she had seen the Stiltz ad in a magazine and that i should check it out. So we did and the rest is history. It fits nicely in a closet in my husbands office and when the door is shut, you would never know it’s there.

    We especially like the plexiglass walls as there is no feelings of confinement.
