This place is a scam! I paid almost $1600.00 a year ago for a local restaurant, and found out that restaurant doesn't even use the menus I was sold. I guess they didn't count on my actually going to the restaurant. I have spoke to ********************** (the **************** manager) and was promised a refund over a week ago, and now he seems to have disappeared. From prior reviews, I am seeing this is not his first time conducting business this way. I spoke to ********************* (art department), and was also promised this would be taken care of. Neither are returning calls, and now I am after ***********************, the General Manager for assistance. Funny thing is all phones divert to *********************, the ***************** Manager". Another sales person had the nerve to call and ask for me to re-up with them, and when I confronted her with this, she disappeared.Review fromCarrie G

This is a scam!! Do not do business with this company. I paid almost $500.00 for an ad that has never materialized. When I called in the beginning, I was told that the other businesses were not finished with their ads and that was the hold up. After a while, ***************** just stopped answering the phone or returning my calls. Now my small business is out hard earned money that could have been spent on legitimate advertising. Worst business model I have ever dealt with. Very little communication. You approve your ad and it take more than 6 months and I have yet to see the finished project on any tables. No refunds. No contact since the approval in May. I have not these on any tables in our area. I have a small business so this took a chunk out of my budget and I have not received any benefits from it. Waiting 6 months or more is asking a lot, I could have used these monies for instant advertising.Review fromScott H

Terrible experience. Only one of the 3 restaurants were able to confirm they have the pamphlets. Ive eaten there many times asking to see one and they have only had them in stock once. In addition to that, it took months and months to get even one out there. They also promised a company write up written by a professional writer. That was a joke and never made it in to the pamphlet anyway. I get the run-around every time. Ask for a refund twice for failure to meet the promise and was told no. Do not do business with this company. They are not what they claim to be and you will be simply throwing your money out the window.Review fromJesse M

I paid for an ad in the Takeout Times in *******************, **. Received the menu in the mail in May when it was supposed to launch in January. The Production Manager explained and was very nice and adamant about making it right for myself and a friend who also paid for an ad. Since then, both my friend and I and my company have ordered take out numerous times with not one menu placed in our takeout orders. We addressed this with the Production Manager since it was stated that ****** menus would be handed out in our rolling calendar year that we paid for. We have called and talked to managers and General managers at the 3 different restaurants and only one manager vaguely remembers something about talking about menus. None are handing them out and we have sent numerous emails and phone calls to the production manager, that have now been simply ignored and unanswered. We have asked for our full refund since the service we paid for was not provided. Please either make this right Takeout Times or maybe someone else will check this and not get stuck in the same situation that my friend and I are in. We work very very hard, and times are tough, and this was both of our entire 2023 marketing budget and it's gone. Our line of work is extremely difficult and this company took our money with no intention of executing. It's horrible to take advantage of hard working people like this. :(Review fromKristian D

Be aware this company and another company called The Table Times are one and the same. The Table Times is what appears on the credit card bill. **** CANNOT deliver what they promise. Ad approved, Sept. 2022. Not in the restaurant Oct., Nov., Dec., Jan. **** claimed they were in use Feb., 2022. Repeated visits never found menus in use on ALL tables as promised. ONCE they were at the counter, but not on any tables. Repeated promises to contact the restaurant and enforce the use of menus with our ad failed to result in the menus being used. Ultimately we were told by our sales person, "I am requesting a refund." (June 27, 2023) Repeated emails back asking, "when will we see this refund?" have gone unanswered. We are past the time frame when our credit card would allow us to dispute this charge, even with the emails as proof the company agreed they cannot deliver as promised. Have not received any marketing, 0 booklets to either of the restaurants that are supposedly participating, I called these restaurants and they have no idea what Im even talking about. In our phone conversation dated 5/12/23, I regret that any of your concerns were left unaddressed. As per the details shared in the email correspondence on 5/4/23 and reiterated during the call, our contract stipulates the latest deadline of 7/20/23 for the items you ordered.
I understand that your schedule may be demanding, as indicated by your need to end our previous call abruptly. However, I would appreciate it if could please reach out so that we can work towards resolving these issues together.
With regard to the preparation of the new takeout menus, please be informed that we work closely with the restaurant owners throughout the process. We ensure that a formal agreement is in place with the owners before initiating the sales process. Consequently, the specifics of the creation of these menus may not be readily available to anyone outside of this contract. Specifically, employees at the restaurants may not be privy to whom the owners have contracted for the production of their new takeout menus.
I would sincerely appreciate an opportunity to delve into this matter further with you. At your earliest convenience, I kindly request you contact me so we can address and rectify any misunderstandings or concerns you may have. I believe you should have all of my contact info as it was included in the email correspondence we have had throughout this process.
