      As a card holder and star rewards member, Macys promised free shipping for a large Christmas order; then charged over ****** in shipping fees. I requested an investigation and to be refunded these fraudulent charges to which they denied me. I will never shop at this company again.

      I didn't have problems with the store but definitely with their credit card. I was charged a lot of fraudulent charges til the card was maxed out and tried to dispute them. They didn't do anything to help me get these charges removed. Even after numerous attempts. They basically said I was responsible for the bill. I never want to accept another credit card from Macy's or their affiliates. Be careful when they are offering you their credit cards. They pretty much push it on you then, you get scammed with false charges. I'm very disappointed ??

      On 1/7/25 I went in to return a pair of men boots that was to small I needed . A larger size. And was told that they didn't have a larger size and if I like they could order me a larger size I said okay that would be fine. Not knowing that and was never told that the boots I bought in was going to be return back to my debit card . The sales rep never told me that Amyla was her name . After that she ordered the new pair and told me all I had to pay was only the shipping and handling that was only $10.95 I ask her why do I have to pay the S /H she said you got to pay it so I got my card out to pay the $10.95 and it deciline. I told her the money is there why it's not going though. Then she try and run it again and take all the cash I had on my card off $26.74 . Then she tells me you got to buy the boots over again I was like what ?? Why didn't you tell me this from the beginning you said all owe was $10.95 . Then I told her you need to get your manager over here because I need my money back because I need my money to put gas in my car and you took all my money off my card that I had for gas. So she call for her manager to come Yvonne to come over and she was no help she was very rude she offered me a credit for my inconvenience that she never gave to me. She pretty much was trying to bully me.I left out of Macy's without the boots I took in there all the little bit of money I had on my debit card taken and I couldn't get gas in my car to get back home on the side of town I live on .I had no money to put gas in my car. When I already had money to put gas in there, but thanks to your customer service representative in Macy's, taking all my money off my card I left out of there with nothing.And if you all don't do anything about this my next move will be contacting the CEO of Macy's Mr S*****s(I want my money refund back to debit for the boots and I want my money refund to my other debit card ASAP and I want A credit)

      On December 10th , I made a purchase. The sales lady asked me if I want to apply for the Macys reward card. I said as long as I can pay right away. She said yes you can pay now. She then asked me if I wanted to apply for a Macys ******** ******* and I said no as I already have an American ******* card. After she rung up the sale she said that I would be billed for the charge. I reminded her that she said that I could pay now and she denied it. So I went through with the purchase. I get a letter in the mail dated December 13th saying that I was also evaluated for the Macys American ******* Card as explained during the application process. I told her that I don't want the **** yet she applied for it on my behalf anyway. My guess is that she gets commission on whoever she signs up. Very dishonest and underhanded. Stay away from this establishment. I then called them and canceled my account as I want nothing to do with these crooks.

      I tried applying for a credit card and due to a process that lasted over an hour where staff did not know how to create the account I decided on Christmas eve to end the process. I then get a letter noting that they attempted to process the account and it was then stopped. As a result my credit rating took a 17 point drop to 814. I will NEVER SHOP in your stores again. My recommendation with your F rating - GO OUT OF BUSINESS and leave customers alone. I hops this is clear!

      INSANITY - delivery drivers came knocked down the cable wire so we were trapped. There was a knick in the couch and an "inspector" came to my house, drew on my couch in a marker that doesn't match the color of the couch which the electric reclining on one side stopped working. He told us someone would call, nothing. Finally scheduled a return, they didn't show up at all. This couch is cheaply made and we paid so much go.

      I went to Macys as a kid in nyc. Macys was always a gold standard. Not anymore. My deposit refund was credited to the wrong credit card. The next refund if deposited was refunded to my Macys credit card which I never used -so I had a -$529 on my Macys card and paying interest on my credit card. This has been a nightmare., they then would not credit the correct credit card and would deposit in my checking account. And wait some more. Very disappointed in Macys. Never again and I will tell anyone I know.

      Terrible customer service. Ordered a product. They sent me something else. They wanted me to print a label and drive it to return it. They would not refund my card - it was only $13!!!! They would not send me another or offer store credit. I had to dispute with my credit card. ***** ***** immediately refunded me. Their stores have become like a ** *** or other discount stores. Lack of sizes, ugly clothes, disorganized, never steam anything on display. And good luck finding someone to at a register. I returned an item at the store. The clerk said it was easier to put in gift card. When I went to use the gift card it would not work. Mgr said that is not what they are trained to do. After a 20 min wait he manually refunded me. Macy’s has ruined what used to be a good department store. Very poorly managed. It’s only a matter of time until they go out of business. Of course they will said they didn’t recover from pandemic and fewer people shopping in stores…right. You ran it into the ground.

      This company is terrible. Ordered with express shipping and its been over a week and havent shipped and they constantly lie to me. First they said I can cancel since its in back order and then they claim I cant. They lie and the company is shady. DO NOT ORDER from them

      I order online to avoid visiting a Macy's store. Today I received an online order that was sent from the Fountain Valley Macy's with the security senso tag still attached???? Obviously no one heard the alarm when it left the store??? I called customer service, spoke to supervisor Ella who did not seem to concerned telling me to go to a store to have it removed? The whole reason for ordering online for delivery is to avoid visiting a store! Pathetic service. No wonder Macy's is failing!!!
