I purchased a sofa from the Macy's Home Store as was sold a WorryNoMore protection policy ($369.00) which was sold as a means of protecting the sofa from pet stains, et cetera (the brochure I was given states "Clean, Repair, Replace"). I recently filed a claim on the protection plan after a new pet accidentally urinated on the sofa. The claim was denied as not being a cleaning service. The sale of this supposed protection service would appear to be fraudulent at best since it seems there is no intention in honoring the service as it was presented to me at the time of purchase (I have disputed the findings with the WorryNoMore service team numerous times and they continue to deny coverage).I will never make a purchase from Macy's again and I caution others not to be fooled into buying their non-existent protection plans as they are fraud.

I returned an item on 4/25 only to be told ny refund would be manage by the 3rd party vendor. I have confirmed that the vendor ******* has received the refund and that Macy's needed to file an "insident Report for my refund. The Macy's rep ********* at the store took over the refund matter and still no refund. Can't get through to a live person at Macy's corporate office as I am not Macy's card holder.

I tried to purchase some earrings during the jewelry flash sale yesterday. The sales price on the product page was $24.00 however when I went to check out the price was $60! I tried contacting customer service via chat, but no one was available. I contacted them the next day in an attempt to order the item at the advertised sales price, but they would not honor it. Total false advertising! Shame on you Macys!

One star because I cannot give none. Very disappointed, Macys is doing false advertising when you apply for their Credit Card. They advertise 20% off on your first purchase but NO, is not real, they cap the discount to $100 only. There no information of this cap discount. I will make sure to scale this situation to the ***.

I am expressing my deep dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent return attempt and the subsequent customer service interactions. On November 19, 2024, I purchased a coat as a Christmas gift , which was delivered on November 26, 2024. In January, a desire to return the coat for a different item was asked. I contacted Macy’s customer service on 1/30/25 and was informed that the return was within the acceptable window. I was provided with a return code and instructed to bring the item to a Macy’s location. Upon visiting the Kingston, Ma store on 2/2/25, I was informed that the store was closing and could not process the return. Following this attempt, I contacted CS again about returning the item at a later date 2/19/25 when I would be near another Macys. I was told this would not be an issue . However, upon visiting the Hanover, Ma store on 2/19, I was informed that the return code had expired, rendering me unable to process the return. The staff at the Hanover store were courteous and attempted to assist by contacting CS on my behalf. After waiting for an hour to speak with a manager via the store’s phone, no one responded. I then used my personal phone to contact customer service, where I encountered extremely rude CS reps. One individual laughed at my situation, and I could hear others in the background also laughing. Following the rude CS i received I contacted Macy’s headquarters in NY and was provided with an email address to send my complaint. Despite being informed that responses typically take seven days, after two emails I have yet to receive any acknowledgment or reply to my emails. I am asking for the following:     1.    Despite the elapsed time, I ask that Macy’s honor the return of the unworn coat, given the miscommunications and assurances previously provided.     2.   I urge Macy’s to review the behavior of the customer service representatives involved in my case     I hope for a swift and favorable resolution to this matter.

On 3/11/24, I visited the store and found an item listed for a *****, along with a 2-piece pajama set priced at $8.96. However, the manager, ********, refused to honor the advertised price. If an item is clearly listed at a specific price in any store, it should be sold to the customer at that price.
