  HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. (OUT OF 19.2k WITH NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT!!!!) I signed a contract with Great Day for a 65K sunroom to be put on an existing deck. After a few months waiting and Great Day getting a 19.2k downpayment from me I was informed by Great Day that they could not get approval to do the work AGREED UPON in the contract. By my calculus if a party can’t hold up their end of an agreement there is no AGREEMENT. I wanted the contract done as agreed or the deal terminated. Great Day agreed to terminate the deal (which they could not fulfill- so the deal was already terminated!!!) but they would keep the 19.2k down payment. The sales person wrote some garbage argument about not knowing whether or not they could do the job as planned but they could find out if I wanted them to- UTTER NONSENSE. Why would I have to asked them if I wanted them to see if they could do the job agreed upon. Why would they not know to do that. So the Great Day is taking the stance that I broke the contract and keeping the 19.2k without having done any work onsite. I would not trust Great Day (more like Bad Day NoN- Improvements).

  Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. Once we applied for your permit the municipality informed us there were encroachment issue with ************ location. We could still build your room but we would need to revise the lay out. You informed us you did not want to proceed and wanted to cancel. Per your signed contract you have 3 days to cancel in order to have your deposit refunded. This was well after the 3 day time period. We are complying with the terms of our contractual agreement.-The Great Day Improvements Team

  Horrible. You could not do the work agreed upon. You therefore could not complete the contract agreed upon. Its quite simple. Yet you imply I am at fault. You have the nerve to speak of a 3 day cancellation period when it took probably three months for you to inform me that YOU could not perform the work. PITIFUL. I AM SORRY FOR YOU. You are PITIFUL.

  We sincerely apologize for your experience not being what we would hope for. Many issues have arisen the past year including supply-chain & labor shortages. This is no excuse, but we have seen some delays and miscommunications due to this issue. Your final inspection is set for Friday and once that is complete they will be back in the next week to install your Amana unit and you project will be complete.   Choosing to use Patio Enclosures to complete my patio was one of my better decisions. ****, the salesperson, ***********************, Customer Advocate and **** the Installer were all professional and down to earth people. Each one of them provided excellent service to me. I am extremely pleased with my enclosed patio. It's worth the money that I paid to have it done. *** completed my sunroom within 2 days after the materials arrived. I was floored to see such an beautiful enclosure completed in that time window. Once he finished the enclosure, he explained how to work the opening and locking of the windows and doors. I was not in the dark about about the process at any time. They explained how things would work involving finances, materials and installation. When I had a question, ***** got me the answer quickly. Their communication to me, at all times was excellent and I never felt like I was being cheated or swindled. I thank God for this company and the good work that they did for me. I am a retired veteran and I'm very pleased with the service, from start to finish, that patio enclosures provided. Kudos to ****, ***** and **** Keep up the good work!

  This was a very well done project, using high-quality materials and it has worked out very well for us and visitors (in addition, the two cats and one dog absolutely love the enclosed porch now!). This company does have good teams that work for them, and ***** was our Point of Contact (POC) and she kept everyone very informed. She was able to answer our questions, and the individuals who came out to work on our now enclosed porch were most knowledgeable and helpful. Yes, they were honest and hard-working. Frankly, I am rather shocked at the negative reviews here and that must have been quite an experience for all involved (including ** * and others) ! We would go back to GREAT DAY IMPROVEMENTS, LLC. and do recommend them to friends and neighbors.Thanks for a great addition to our home ! *****

  Horrible experience. License expired and took months to resolve. Would schedule appointments and no sho no call. Destroyed my gutters and now I have huge puddles every time it rains. Screen has a hole. Poor customer service. Would not recommend to my worse enemy.

Our records indicate you were contacted regularly about the situation and our Regional Ops Manager personally texted you to keep you up to date. We re-routed your downspouts from the upper roof to drain properly after the sunroom was installed. We do not have any records of damage to the gutters or your screen.   All communication with this company was initiated by me no one from the company was ever proactive in keeping me apprised of the delays. Talk to your installer about the damage to the screens. You have no QA of the work or you would know about the damage and the puddles that the work has created. I would not recommend anyone to use your services.

  The worst company we have ever had the displeasure of working with. We were going to enclose an existing screen porch and turn it into a 3 seasons room. GDI, stated that because the existing structure was there and all they had to do was install windows, this was right in their wheelhouse. When we questioned their quoted 4-6 weeks to get the work complete, they told us that since they manufactured their own glass, they have no supply chain issues. It is now 5 MONTHS later and the work is just now complete. There were no weather delays, or supply chain issues, they were completely incompetent, from Sales, Operations, Planning, all the way through the process. We would take off work, to be here for them, and the workers wouldn't show up. When we called their offices, they wouldn't answer the phones, return voicemails or reply to emails. The head of Sales was supposed to be here at 1 p.m. today, to "make things right" and he didn't even bother to show up; no call, no text, nothing. I would encourage the BBB to look at the ****** company website, to see what employees are saying about the working conditions at GDI and look at the ****** reviews (1.7 / 5.0), to see what a horrifically run company this truly is. Unfortunately, the *********-based Patio Enclosures is part of this corporation. We want to do all we can to warn consumers about contracting with this company. No one should have to experience the unbelievable pain and frustration of dealing with a company that has no concept of customer service.

  Yes, the work on the sunroom is complete, but we are not and never have been satisfied. We contacted your **************************** to let them know how dissatisfied we are. We filled out a ****** review of your company to tell you how dissatisfied we are. We filled out a customer survey and told you how dissatisfied we are. We tried reaching out to your executive team, but no one returned our call. I am at a loss as to why you would ignore all of the above data / information and believe an Operations Manager who says we are satisfied. I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but the executives at GDI really need to get out to the field, to understand what is going on. It is apparent, from your response, that you are not receiving accurate information from the businesses. Not surprisingly, we have not heard from the Operations Manager, as specified above and I sincerely doubt that we ever will.

  I had a 2 part project done, replacing a large deck, and converting an attached old screened in room into a glassed 3 season room. ***** and his son (sorry, forgot his name), were extremely pleasant and professional, and did excellent work with meticulous attention to detail. They went above and beyond, even cleaning up after the crew who did the deck work. Definitely recommend!

  This company is a fraud! Empty promises and no delivery. They hide behind a contracts full of arbitration clauses that strip you as a consumer from any kind of ability to get what you think you paid for. The sales reps will make empty promises and the delivery/timelines/what you actually receive is absolutely fraud. The materials they advertise to you and the promises they make are empty. Do yourself a favor go with a better company. Also dont do any business with Patio Enclosures, GDI hides behind that name and absolutely scams folks with a product they dont stand behind. If I could leave zero stars I would.

  Once again, we sincerely apologize for any miscommunications that *** have occurred. We understand that some poor communication with your Design Consultant (who is no longer with the company) resulted in you not fully understanding the function and capabilities of a 3- seasons vs. a 4-seasons room. In warmer climates it is possible to use a 3- seasons room year-round but in ******* that is not always possible. We are aware of your complaints of excessive condensation and have determined the gas fireplace is causing the issue. Humidity levels need to be kept to a minimum in a 3 seasons room during the colder months. We fully stand behind all our products and their performance when they are used appropriately.
