  I had AHW for 3 years and in those 3 years, AHW followed through on 3 claims, and after the work was completed the repair company was paid. 4 requested claims were made for various repairs and in those 4 claims AHW would ask me via email to find my own repair company at which time I told AHW that I don't have time to do the leg work and that's what I pay AHW to do. Several weeks would go by and no one would return my emails from AHW. I called AHW several times and I always spoke (Or tried to) to someone who could hardly speak English so I went back to sending emails. It got to the point that AHW would respond to me in email for example, "We apologize for the delay in response. Our records indicate that you have spoken with a representative already. Please reach out to us during normal business hours (9am-5pm EST) (at a number AHW would send me) should you wish to discuss the matter further. Thank you for your patience and for being a valued customer". Here is the latest email I received " We apologize for this inconvenience. Our system is down since last week. It should be fixed soon. Once it is resolved we will take your claim." I received this email from AHW 2 weeks before my contract expired. I could go on but I touched on the highlights of AHW inability to perform their duties and very poor customer service.

  Terrible service.. trying to get in touch with them they were supposed to send out a check for 500. 00.. I can’t get in touch with them phone number appears disconnected and no link to website. Have no idea how to follow up on the status of check? Or even how’s I get in touch with them..

  I bought a 3 year warranty from AHW. I only received service (2 service requests) the first year. Since then it has been really bad. I have a service request for an appliance open with them for the past 4 months with no resolution. They are telling me they are not able to find a technician. The providers they sent never show up (I am guessing they are not paying them). Finally I got a repair person to come on my expense and filed the claim. They have not responded to my claim and it has been a month.

  Would give 0 if could. Never covered a single thing that broke. Now none of the sites even work and the 1800 # has been disconnected !! Junk company and ****** people!!!

  I file an online request for garbage disposal request 10/25/23. I have not heard from anyone. I tried calling the company . The number is not working I paid 1500 a piece for 2 homes I still have 2 years left on the contracts but I can not get in touch with anyone for my repairs. I am requesting a refund for the remaining time of the 2 contracts . I can’t get in touch with anyone and the website is not working

  I have been waiting for a response from this company since August regarding my air conditioner. When I made the initial service call, their system was down. Now 7 weeks later, they have locked/blocked my number.

  i’ve been paying my premiums for months now with amazon home warranty and I filed a claim for my refrigerator icemaker. However, the contract that they sent out here broke apart, and my icemaker in the company is refusing to be responsible that they replaced a part that was not broken and install a cheap a part that no longer works at all nor did they fix what I had submitted a claim for now that I tried to call Amazon. It seems that my number has been blocked. They have messed up my new refrigerator and refuse to fix it. This is totally unfair that we pay monthly for the services and get nothing in return but they’re just taking our money. Something needs to be done about this company.

  I purchased the AHW on March 28, 2023 at a cost of $2,378.00. Per the AHW Section II. TERM. "Coverage starts 30 days after acceptance of application..." establishing the activation date as April 27, 2023. I cancelled the AHW on May 17, 2023 after being frustrated by the level of service provided by this warranty. I received an email from AHW on the same date acknowledging the cancellation. Per AHW Section XIII. CANCELLATION. Your warranty states "..if You cancel this contact after the first 30 days of the Contract Term, then You shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid Contract fee for the unexpired term, less a cancellation fee of the lesser of $30 or 10% of the contact fee...". The contract was in place exactly 20 days out of the 365 day term representing $130.30 plus $30.00 totaling $160.30 to be retained by AHW for the period of use. I am due a refund of $2,247.70 which I have never received. Buyers should know that while the name of this warranty is Amazon Home Warranty, this company is NOT affiliated with Amazon which was clearly an attempt to misrepresent the consumer. Additionally, AHW looks for any way to deny coverage to the customer. Finally, even following the process outlined in the AHW contract, AHW doesn't honor the refund policy of their contract. Look at the Customer Review Rating on this BBB site. One Star. Don't walk, run from this company.
