I wish I could give zero stars. Ill make this short. I had a water supply line to my house rupture. I called Roto Rooter to make repairs. They charged me $3000. To replace a 1 foot section of PVC pipe. The materials for the job cost around $20. They were done in 30 minutes. There is no way you can justify $3000 for this work. I will NEVER call these people for anything else and I will make sure I tell everyone that I can about this company.Roto-Rooter

This company Roto Rooter is a scam. I called them to fix a shower the temperature cartridge needed to be replaced. The labor alone was 875 not including parts and taxes total $1,146. Total rip off he first quoted me 875 then added on additional costs after. Please don't use this plumbing company. They are crooks.Review fromGabby G.

This company is the worst. They will rob you of any and all money and have no professionalism to call you back after multiple messages left for the manager. I called them for a drainage problem for my kitchen sink. I first had the technician come and put a scope to see if there was any blockage. I should have known something was up when it sounded like he was drilling holes in my walls. He told me it was $250 for the service and told me I needed another job of $2900 to fix my issue. The next day or 2 another tech comes out and looks at my pipe and says its going to be close to $8000 to fix and she could not fix it. Another tech came within a few hours and told me they need to drill into my floor and that would cost $15,000. My sink since the first tech came has been leaking and it was NOT leaking before he did his scope of the pipe. Called multiple times to management of course no answer. I went with another company who quotes me less than $3,000 and told me they didnt need to drill into my floors. Roto rooter is a scam and cant even admit to calling me backRoto-Rooter

there technician was supposed to fix a leakage from the water shut off valve to the toilet. my elderly husband was home alone. the technician 3407 added random things by scaring my husband that the house was at risk of flooding and replaced an angle stop for water supply. The costs for the parts was $290 and his labor for 2 hours $1955.00 This was for replacing the shut off valve at the toilet and angle stop. Basically, he ripped us off. when i tried to contact the company they are not returning my phone call. this happened a couple of years back and the company has neither clarified anything.Roto-Rooter

My parents were told that there is a water remediation law (total lies). They ran 5 dryers in their home for a total of 7 days. When we realized after the 3rd day that is was only blowing out 38 degrees of what they consider heat they called the main boss which in turn made the boss man upset. Not only did they do crappie work, they in turn were rude,arrogant and disrespectful towards their customers and the elderly. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMY. I was robbed by this company. digging a small hole to access a pipe with a leak and pouring back a little cement. 2 hours job and its dome for $4,500. Then i thought that was it. Saturday a received a new invoice for a tune of $4,052 charges for cleaning, materials (i dont what else did they se aside from a small cement to fill the hole and a small pipe to replace the water heater pipe. and water extraction as if my garage was flooded with is not. beware of this company.!Roto-Rooter

I called them on a Sunday and I had a stopped up toilet and asked them how much they charge and wasn't given a price. The rep came and quoted me $283 for a stopped up toilet. I told him I didn't know their prices and then he said $200 for the service. I asked did they do water clean up and he said it's just advertised on the truck. I called a supervisor about this and he came on very rude with a nasty tone. He told me the water clean up was a different department and they charge for that too. If I had known this I would have contacted someone else. The rep was in my bathroom for 10 minutes and I was asking for clean up of the water on the floor. He said I don't do that. Then he came with his invoice and asked if I would be paying by card or cash and was disappointed with the service. I’m Disappointed with the service technician and the management rep that I spoke with over the phone from Rotor Rooter. False advertisement on their truck (water clean up ) However my services were paid in full . I asked how much was the service for a clog toilet before they came out to my home the quoted me the price after they arrived . Do yourself a favor, if you have plumbing problems, do NOT contact Roto Rooter. Roto Rooter doesnt response to inquiries, doesnt follow up, and put a hole in my wall when moving equipment through my house. And the worst of all, their technician caused my basement to flood. This was one of the worse experiences Ive had with a company. They dont even deserve one star.Review fromMichele K

They overcharged me at every turn. The fee to correct the issue was initially listed as $1200 but then after a conversation it was dropped down a few hundred. However, they then charged me $12,000 dollars to fix the sewer line and additional 7,500 to clean up the water damage. This far exceeds what should be charged. Additionally, when I delayed a small portion of this payment $1,600 due to conversations with my insurance company, they threatened to put a lien on my house.
