    I signed up for Deferit to help pay my Electric Bill, well after paying the membership fee and the First Installment which was $33 they only paid $33 of my Electric bill which the total bill was $130. I have a Past Due Balance of the reminder balance on my bill plus the new bill thats coming for this month. Now my account is showing that Im behind because Deferit wasnt clear about how they pay a Consumers bills. They only pay a portion of your bill at a time which leaves you with a Past Due balance and late fees. If I would have known this then I wouldnt have never signed up for it!! Really Deceiving!!!

    My account is locked out due to potential suspicious issues. I contacted my bank and was informed by VPN was causing the issue. I was told there is no phone support but email and live chat. I have not heard back concerning a solution to my ticket email (exception for an auto response bot indicating it is resting in a work queue somewhere to be acknowledged. I spent the last four hours on multiple device types, operating systems and browsers. Every time I attempt a live chat via the ************* it redirects back to the landing page of the ************ This during their reported business hours. My account is locked, I need this bill paid desperately as it is a suspended cell service tied to several important business accounts.

    When I needed my due date to changed to the 1st since that is when I get paid, not only did they agree to move the date, but they gave me even more extra time to pay. Its nice to know that people still care for ones financial issues.

    Deferit has really come through for me. Most creditor's won't work with you when you need more time to pay. But I was so shocked that Deferit emailed me with such a caring response to my situation and gave me the extra time I needed. Each time I needed a bill paid, they took care of it immediately!     Listen to me people do not I repeat do not use the negotiation option. What Ive experienced I wish you on nobody not only is the option wrote deceitful you end up with another bill, which is them. They say they negotiate you savings and whatever you save we split no where does it state the split is you paying them half of savings. IE: if they save you two hundred they are going to bill you a hundred dollars. Now why tf would anyone do that!? How is paying them half your savings benefiting you in any way? Actually you can call and negotiate your own bill for free just like I did! Matter of fact I got MYSELF a better deal. Faster Internet and cheaper all the way around! Not only that when they find the so call savings they dont communicate price or you being entered in a new payment plan with them (deferit). You know how you upload the bill and they say you payment amount dates etc. before I knew it I was billed ***** and have three more to go. And thats how I found out what we split the payment means like what?! Why would anyone agree to pay half of their savings when you can save the whole thing or even more that doesnt even make sense. I will be disputing them charges canceling that savings plan and getting my money back because again I got myself a better deal. Other than this situation I never had a problem with them they are a great service.
