Bought a playset through **** club which was delivered over a week ago and still sitting in boxes on my lawn. Have reached out multiple times to schedule an assembly date after paying $900 for assembly. We have yet to hear from someone about scheduling a date after being told that the tech would be reaching out within 48 hours. Called again and was told tech would reach out by the end of the day which didnt happen. Called again the next day to be told that I would get a text with a date by Monday which didnt happen. I called to find out about assembly time frames before we even decided to order and pay for it just to make sure the time frame wasnt going to be too long. The man I spoke to told me that the tech that services our area could come out within 2 weeks of delivery which was fine and our deciding factor to paying for the assembly vs. doing it ourselves. I was told I could not schedule until it was delivered which is understandable. I was told by the 2nd ***** I spoke to that I could request an expedited assembly since it was delivered earlier than the date showing in their system. I called to schedule after it was delivered and the ***** told me it could be several weeks to a month+ before he could come out which is disheartening because I specifically asked about a timeframe before we ordered to avoid that. At this point we could have done it ourselves or paid someone local to do it. The tech still hasnt reached out with a date and I was going to give it 1 or 2 more days as I know it is busy season but now after reading hundreds of bad reviews about this company and the lack of communication and no shows after schedulingI am wondering if this company is a scam? I tried to write them directly on their website but the submit button doesnt work. I never write reviews and would never bash a company as I am very understanding but reliability and communication are fundamental to good service, and unfortunately, this company has fallen short on both.Review fromBrandi D

If I could leave 0 stars I absolutely would! Go Configure was the third-party contractor for the installation of a playset we purchased from ********. When the one individual showed up, he took one look at our yard and said that the ground in which the playset was to be assembled on was not level and he could not do the work. He stated that in the email it says the ground must be prepared for install. That was an absolute lie, we have read every portion of the email and found no links, and no instructions verifying his statement. I advised him that we wanted a refund, he said his supervisor would be reaching out. Someone did eventually reach out and said that they refund was in process and we would receive an email soon. Here we are two weeks later, just got off the phone with them and they stated that they do not give refunds, now we have been going back and forth between Wal-mart, and Go Configure and both are saying they can't give us a refund, that it is the other's responsibility. So, in short, do not order any playsets from ********, and at the very least do not pay any money before verifying that Go Configure is not the third-party contractor ******** has hired for the installation.Go Configure

We have multiple pictures from our contractor that show the yard is not level. An expectation for a successful assembly is emailed to every customer which details the expectations on leveling and clearance. We also cover this in our welcome call with the customer. We have since reached out to the Account specialist for *******, and they have processed this customers refund.Review fromMatthew K

1 star is too many to give this company. I am now on the 7th rescheduling of appointments that were all confirmed. They have no shame in the excuses they come up with. **************** has no actual power and only knows how to repeat we will have to wait until a technician can get back to us to reschedule you. No matter what they say, believe the opposite. This is easily the worst experience I have had with any company in any business. Stay away at all costs.Go Configure

This customer was rescheduled once due to the Technician calling out sick. There was a second reschedule as well due to Thunderstorms. There were also 2 other reschedules that were from the customers end as well, and not because of the technician. This customer decided to cancel their order with Backyard Discovery and they are being refunded in full.Review fromCharles P

I purchased a Backyard wooden Swing Set from ******* and, at their suggestion, an add-on service by their affiliate Go Configure to assemble and install the equipment for an additional $265 in advance. Upon receipt of the Swing Set, I immediately called Go Configure as instructed to schedule an installation date. During the call, I advised them that the equipment had been delivered to my Front Door and not the Back Gate as I instructed. Go Configure immediately required an additional $40 (minimum) to move the Box from my Front Porch to our Backyard Gate. Since then it has been as tough as "pulling chicken teeth" to get Go Configure to set a date to assemble and install the equipment as per the ******* Purchase Order. Despite repeated calls, Go Configure has refused to set a date and reportedly must wait "until the Technician returns from the field at night and set a date that they will text to me for acceptance'. I have not received their Text Message nor a Phone Call despite calling them practically on a daily basis. It appears as a result of the foregoing agonizing experience that includes a blatant lack of support by Go Configure and *******, perhaps I may possibly have been scammed. I am proceeding to cancel the so-called service forthwith.Go Configure

The customer did decide to cancel their order. We do not collect payment for the assembly until the order is completed, so ******* was notified to refund the customer as they were the ones who accepted his payment. We did offer the customer an expedited date once it was escalated to management, but they declined.Review fromScott B

The worst. Would give zero stars if I could. They required me to pay money up front for an exercise bike repair. Then it took weeks and months for them to schedule. Impossible to get through.Eventually, the guy came, didnt have the needed part, and was told the company would call back with an estimate and schedule the actual repair. Weeks after that I got an email that their estimating system was down, so they couldnt repair my bike, or even give me an estimate for the foreseeable future. When I complained that I paid for absolutely nothing. (A man looked at my bicycle. Period. No estimate. I could have had anybody off the street look at my bike and do nothing, for free), they refused to give a refund. In my opinion, this is nothing but a criminal enterprise.Go Configure

The first appointment was to diagnose what was wrong with the customers exercise bike. The delays for the second appointment to fix the bike were caused by the parts that needed to be ordered were on backorder with the manufacturer. Once the parts were finally delivered, we were able to go back and fix this customers bike on 5/6/25 and he is now satisfied with his service.Review fromTascha D

This company is an absolute SCAM!!!! Something should be done about this sham of a company!!! I ordered a computer desk from ********** and paid in advance for it to be put together. I assumed this would be a professional job. The company promised a scheduled service ***** hours after delivery. Im getting the exact same runaround from them about not being able to contact a technician!! How is this possible?? Its been over a week with no service date in sight!! They have taken the money out of my account for services not rendered!! They had no problem taking my money!! How are they able to operate like this?? I see their response to other peoples complaints and reviews and I know that its all lies because Im dealing with the same headache!! They arent resolving these issues!! They are promising a service that NEVER gets done and taking peoples hard earned money!! I want my money refunded back to me!! S**** their service!! These people are a joke!! This order was completed to the customers Satisfaction on Saturday 3/1/25. We do not *************** until after the assembly is completed successfully, and if we cannot complete or if the customer cancels, then 100% of their assembly fee is refunded to them. We spoke to the customer after she left the review and apologized for the contractors delay in scheduling and offered the date of 3/1. I ordered an office desk from ********** (HD) and requested home assembly service. Go Configure contacted me for a "Sunday" assembly. They added in their email if this date and time would not work to add three alternate dates and times. I did, but I did not receive a reply with a new schedule. I called their customer service number and was told "We cannot get in touch with the technician, but will contact the coordinator, where you will receive a phone call, text, and email". Two days later...nothing. I made the call again and received the same response as the first - I cannot reach the technician...blah, blah. Another day passed with no contact, so I made the third call....same response. After three phone calls and three emails to Go Configure with no response whatsoever, I'd had enough! I called HD and canceled this company. I miss the days when HD provided its own services. Third parties like Go Configure are just unreliable. I would suggest Go Configure look into their hiring processes....especially with Coordinators and Technicians. Very Poor communication causes companies to lose business.Go Configure

This order was submitted to us on 10/12 from **********. Unfortunately it was submitted to us with the wrong phone number (Not sure if that was the customers mistake or **********). We did try to call the customer twice and emailed them asking for the correct contact info which they called and gave us on 10/15. We offered a Sunday appointment which the customer declined, and then were working on a new date when the customer decided to cancel the morning of 10/17. We ordered an assembly service from home *********. They delivered the vanity and we confirmed an appointment with go configure for today between 11:00 and 3:00. Instead, I got a text at 8:00 saying that they were arriving. I told them to let me know and I would open the gate. They never called. They never texted me back. I called them and asked what happened. They said the job had been marked completed already. I paid $180 for them to not do their job and say they had done it already. Now I have a down syndrome birthday girl who is left without her present because these people are crooks. In fact they are worse than that. I wouldn't want to be them on judgment Day.Go Configure

After reviewing this customers order and pulling the recorded calls, we were able to find that we did call this customer multiple times while the technician was on site waiting to be let in. Unfortunately we were only able to leave Voicemails. The technician waited for 20 minutes and then had to resume with their route after no response. The customer did finally return our call and they decided to cancel the order after we advised them that the Technician would have to come back another day. The customer has been refunded in full by **********, as we do not *************** for our work until after it is completed and signed off on by the customer.Review fromAlaina S

If I could zero stars, I would. DO NOT PAY FOR THESE SERVICES. I ordered an outdoor playset from *******.com and paid extra for the assembly. I did not realize they outsourced this to a third party. I waited weeks and had multiple phone calls with both ******* customer service and ********************** customer services trying to get it scheduled. After waiting weeks to get an appointment scheduled, and multiple phone calls with no definitive answer, I finally just decided to cancel the assembly and get a refund. I was told by a Go Configure rep that my order had been canceled and that I needed to call ******* for a refund. I did that and was told by ******* I would receive a confirmation email and that my card would be credited within 3-5 business days. I never received a confirmation email or a refund. I called back and ******* then told me that the refund had to be issued through Go Configure. Go Configure told me I would receive a refund check in about 2-3 weeks. Unbelievable! It has been nothing but a headache. I still don't have a clear idea or timeframe of when, if, or how I will be getting a refund for the services that were NEVER and were likely NEVER going to be provided. Based on the other reviews I see here that I am not the only one who has had these issues. It is now just a waiting game...but what a scam. Hopefully. I will get my money back. At this point, I don't know what to believe.Go Configure

We received ********************** order from ******* on 7/20 and released it for scheduling immediately after. Due to most outdoor builds having lead times 2-3 weeks (Which was explained to ****************** during her welcome call on 7/22), we tried to expedite her scheduling by reaching out to a couple different technicians. After 9 days (8/1) ****************** decided to cancel. We advised her that since she paid for the assembly with ******* directly and since we do not bill ******* until the order is completed, that ******* would be refunding her directly back on the card she used to pay for it. Unfortunately, we do not control how quickly another company processed their refunds, but we do hope she is refunded by ******* in a timely manner.Review fromKyle G

My Horizon treadmill belt started slipping. I called Horizon and was directed to GoConfigure. It took days to get them on the phone and weeks for a repairman to come out. They demand payment up front for all parts and service. The first repairman ($50) said it needed a new drive belt. GoConfigure ordered one for $416.58 (which I paid in advance). When the second repairman came, he found that they'd sent the walking belt, not the drive belt. I ordered a drive belt (another $200). The third repairman (all different) came and said that it wasn't the drive belt, the motor was shot, but that the motor was covered by a lifetime warranty. GoConfigure called and agreed that the motor was on warranty, but said that they always replace the control board when they replace the motor, and the repair would cost me $909.71. I paid $649 for the treadmill ($872 with shipping and tax) in 2022 when it was new! I could buy a new treadmill, same brand, for less, and have it here tomorrow, but I won't, because I won't deal with these people again. GoConfigure has promised repeatedly for weeks to send me a shipping label so I can at least send the walking belt back for a refund, and they've never done it. These people are blatant crooks.Go Configure

We have recently refunded ************ $192.29 which was the agreement he had with our repair department. That refund was processed on 7/26/24 and returned back to his card that he used to pay for the services. We consider the matter resolved.
