A great experience. They made it extremely easy. I was apprehensive about trusting an online company but they keep you completely informed (maybe too informed). NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEY STOLE FROM ME. I chose to use Worthy to sell a wedding set. I began the process and included the ring appraisal I had completed in Aug 2023. I didn't expect communication to be by text. That is red flag No. 1. Once my ring was received, I was told that a *** preferred jeweler would inspect and appraise the ring. Red flag no. 2 since I had already included an appraisal from a *** ******* Subsequently, I was told that my ring was worth approximately hundreds of dollars instead of the thousands from my appraisal. I decided to continue with the bid setting a reseve price of $2000. In the end, I sold the ring at a ridiculously cheap price. When I got the confirmation for payment, I realized 2 digits were missing from my payment information. I emailed the company. I was contacted for the correct information. I sent that. On Sep 13, 2023, I received a message that the ************ had the corrected information and would be forwarding my payment. It is now Sep 27. I have not received my payment and obviously can't get my ring back. In reviewing the sold inventory, I discovered another set with a very similar marquise on a heavy gold band set. It makes one wonder about the integrity of this company.Worthy.com

Were sorry to hear your experience with Worthy did not meet your expectations despite you being able to reach an offer for your jewelry that was acceptable to you.
As a reminder, when your item did not receive bids above the reserve price you set, you were given the option to make a counter offer to the buyer who placed the highest bid or move forward with the return of your jewelry. The buyer accepted the counter offer you made which led to the sale of your item. The payment was initially delayed due to the incomplete payment details that were provided. We can confirm you have since been paid.
It is important to note that the commercial appraisal you provided, commonly used for insurance purposes, is very different than a formal grading report from a laboratory. Our evaluation of your ring was based on an objective grading by experts at the ************************************ This grading, in addition to the professional cleaning and photography were provided complimentary in preparation for your auction.
While, we endeavor to get the best value for our sellers, in a resale market, pre-owned jewelry will sell for significantly lower than retail appraisal values. It is unfortunate that your item sold below your expectations, but the choice to sell was always yours.

I sent my 3 Diamond princess cut ring to worthy, they had sent me a shipping label along with documentation to include with it. I mailed it and the next day it said the transaction was aborted and my tracking info was cancelled. It said dont worry, if the ring is not accepted for their auction it will be returned to me. If they cancelled the tracking info already how will they ever get it and return it to me? My ring is now floating out there somewhere. Im so upset and wanted to let others know this is totally unacceptable.Worthy.com

Though it did take a bit of a leap of faith to send a 5 plus carat ring via ****** the whole experience was incredibly transparent. I was about concerned about removing the stone from the setting for *** grading, but was assured that if the ring did not sell at auction, it would be reset before it was returned to me. Communication was constant and very supportive throughout the process and the proceeds from the $20,000 plus sale were transferred into my account in only a few days. I would absolutely recommend Worthy !!!Worthy.com

Very easy to work with, very fair, and communication was excellent. My only complaint is I wish the pictures were better. The pictures taken of my ring did not include the intricate details of the setting including the special inlays surrounding the mount. In my opinion, the pictures did not do the ring justice. But overall a very good experience.Worthy.com

My experience with Worthy, and the women I worked with to sell my item, was very good. While my item didnt sell for the amount I had hoped, my team couldnt have worked harder on my behalf to get the best possible result. They were all professional and kept me informed every step of the way through phone calls, texts and email.
