Don't sell your books here! If recommend any other place but book run cause they'll say the book is counterfeit not knowing that every book I sold them came from ******. That's saying ****** sells counterfeit books cause they all can from them days before I sold them. How did they send one counterfeit book and the other 3 are good and mind you these books are far from cheap they were all over 100 dollars so why is ****** selling counterfeits? Also why are they allowed to message you and tell you their counterfeits but they didn't reply to your message but have time to disable your book run account? We have the right to speak but they don't believe so and I'm just waiting on ****** to reply to see if it's possibleReview fromSarah C

I tried to sell various books to this company. They owe me $93.22 and apparently a check has been issued. However, I was supposed to receive payment no later than Feb. 20th and it is now Feb. 29th. I have contacted customer service and am now crossing my fingers and toes.Booksrun.com Inc.

Pretty weird how both items I returned to them last month mysteriously got lost in shipping--and good thing I used **** Priority Mail (which comes with $100 insurance). I've never had a return get lost in shipping before. Then again, I've never tried to make a return to Booksrun before... I can't help but suspect these items are going to mysterious reappear when **** starts their investigation. Then I'll just have to try to get my refund out of these guys, which I suspect will also be difficult...Booksrun.com Inc.

However, since two orders for the same item under the same name were active in the system, the returned item was checked into the system as the return of order #******* and refund was applied according to BooksRun policy. Please note that according to our Terms and Conditions a restocking fee may apply for the items returned later than 21 days after the delivery (Shipping and Returns, bullet point #8). Therefore, once your item was returned to us, a 15% restocking fee was applied to the order #******* and $74.53 were refunded.We have never received the second copy that was supposed to be returned to our facility, thus, the refund could not be issued. However, the refund was deducted from our funds by Abebooks and issued to you. I sadly have to agree with most of the reviews here. I was quoted one price for books (some had never been used) and received a different payment. I also sent a book looking up the title and was not paid for it because my ISBN did not match theirs. They didnt pay and kept the book. They got two stars for the ease of the process but docked 3 for the above. Disappointed and wont use them again in the future.Booksrun.com Inc.

Their book processing and inspection procedures are a joke. Book prices are randomly adjusted down in price with no reason whatsoever. Do not sent them textbooks. They will quote you a high price for them and when they receive them **** them as counterfeit even though they were bought at a university book store. No explanation as why they thought it was counterfeit, just that they thought it was a now they are paying you nothing. Chances are good that they know its a valid textbook, classify it as counterfeit so they dont have to pay you and then sell your book for maximum profit.Booksrun.com Inc.

Finding out that this company will not return emails or phone calls regarding rental returns. This is solely so they might be able to collect the full price on each and every book. We cannot get them to let us know how to get a shipping label back for the book that was rented but not needed for a class now. They have been emailed numerous times. There was not a return label included with the delivery of the book so HOW DO WE GET THE RETURN LABEL so they cannot say it was not returned correctly according to their standards. Time is running out and from what reviews I have read, many of them actually, they have many unsatisfied customers. I do not understand why they would still be in business with all the complaints. Its very easy to return an email with instructions on return label. We will be contacting our bank ahead of time regarding the issue!Booksrun.com Inc.

THIS COMPANY IS NOT REPUTABLE AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USING THEM - HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO BE TAUGHT THE ******* including me. My mistake was not checking BBB. I have decided to sell some of my daughter's texbooks. I sent (3) books in - in "used/very good" condition" for the total of $40.24 order. I have received the email few days later that they have discounted the books to $14.72 as follows: (1) of the books had 1cm minor tear in the upper right corner otherwise it was like new (barely used) - so they deemed it "poor condition" and took $2.32 form it (OK - was selling it for $5.92); 2nd book (selling for $18.35) - they said "unacceptable condition" & discounted it to $0.00 & send me picture of ripped up sticker and book damage - which they later found out was done by their employee in the warehouse and I have email in which they confirmed it - nonetheless, they said it had "quality used book" sticker which made it "unacceptable" per their rules on site - OK - my fault, however, they did not give me any choice to either return book to me or leave it with them - they went ahead damaged the book and that it is (oh, they are returning the book to me at no charge so I should be happy getting back the damaged book which I cannot re-sell anymore). 3rd book for $17.86 was not mentioned in the email at all, so I assumed that that was accepted - not so quick because doing the math on the payout - they have also discounted it by another $4.85 WITH NO REASON GIVE PROVIDED - JUST FOR FUN I guess. The customer service was uselless - could not provide any answer to my question about 3rd book issue & why it was also discounted & cannot do simple math. I know it is small money; however, imagine they are doing it to everyone considering the number of complaints, so it becomes a lot considering the large number of people who get swindled. This is a review about their buy back program. I mailed in a total of 4 books, and my total was roughly $80 that they paid me. I haven't had any issues with them! The whole process (shipping them out, letting them process them and then mailing out the check and me receiving it) took about 4 weeks, but I got both of my checks in the mail and the process was overall convenient and easy.
