  After filing a claim for my car, I was asked for extra information which I had provided. ***** N kept rejecting my claim (once because he didn't bother to scroll down to see the needed information) and the reasons just kept on changing. It got to the point, that ***** N lied and said that the person at the repair shop told him that the battery was the cause of the alternator failing (which meant it would not be covered under the warranty). This was a lie because on the invoice it clearly stated the reason and it didn't make sense for the repair shop to tell me to change the alternator and not the battery. Also, I spoke with the person from the repair shop and she said that she never said that the battery was the cause of the failure. I spoke with the supervisor *** M and he wasn't much of help either. DOWC is very unprofessional and flat out lie in order to deny a claims. I will take ownership that my claim was filed 32 days instead of 30 which is what my contract says. If I was told right away that the denial is due to a time frame, I would have accepted this but they put me through the ringer to get the extra information and then claimed that the person at the repair shop was lying to me and on the invoice that was given to me. He also kept referring to the recording on ******* and the repair shop person's conversation but I asked for it, I was told that I needed a lawyer. So, *** *. chose to ignore the invoice and the reason on the invoice and quote a phone call that I had no access to.

  This company is a rip off. Bought my warranty for 3300 my car broke down I tried to use my warranty and out of a $600+ repair bill they only paid $72. The diagnosis that they wanted before any repairs could be done they didnt pay for. I had to call daily for updates. **************** was no help and I have yet to get a call back from the supervisor I requested to speak to. I would never ever recommend anyone purchase a warranty from this company.

  Working in the car business is no easy task-and dealerships working with warranty companies cannot definitely be trying....NOT with DOWC-In the 13 years I have been a Service Writer/Advisor I have never had an issue with this company...each Advisor is so pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and very patient. *** *. has helped me so many times in the past 6 months alone and I am so GRATEFUL for the assistance he has given me and my coworkers. Life is made much easier when you don't have to beg for assistance and approval. *** is extremely knowledgeable and kind and calling to get an approval is something I actually like doing now, when I used to dread it. So thank you DOWC, I am so glad that my dealership chose your company to assist with theirs. Happy Holidays!

  this is the worst place to do business i've been trying to get a refund on a warranty since 02/28/2024 they say someone will call you back never happens after quite a few phone calls and emails i have to go a different route i would give them 0 stars but its not available

  DOWC Administration Services, LLC (DOWC) serves as the third-party administrator of vehicle service contracts and other products offered by administrators and motor vehicle dealers in connection with the sale of new and used vehicles. As such, DOWC processes claims and provides other administrative services in connection with such products. Regarding the contract the Customer purchased, DOWC was not obligated for any payments due to the Customer nor did it have a direct administration role. *********** was a third-party administrator for contracts and claims. DOWC is not a party at all to this service contract. Upon the Customers request, **** contacted the administrator and provider of the contract. **** learned that the Customer was contacted by the administrator on four separate occasions so the refund could be sent. They have yet to receive a response from the customer. DOWC has met all its obligations with the administrator and provider and the delay in the refund is attributable to the Customers failure to respond to numerous communications. Because DOWC has no obligations to the Customer and all the obligations to the ********************** have been met, we respectfully request that BBB closes the complaint and removes the Customers review. Furthermore, this review was submitted against DOWC Provider Services, LLC, a company that has no relation whatsoever to this service contract.

  *** was sooo wonderful to work with as we navigated a very difficult situation to help get our daughter get her car going where we initially didnt have insurance documented from the car lot in which we purchased the car out of ******* and paid for the insurance. He guided us every step of the way with such pleasant attitude. We were furious in how the company used our funds for other things , but failed to pay to show that we had insurance with DOWC. It was a MESS!! ********** worked with us to get to the bottom of the situation. His word is his BOND. If he said he was going to call you back, he did just that. He held our hands to the very end to solve this! If there is a guy like this in all public areas, the world would definitely be a BETTER place. Also, thank you Ms. ***** for your professional help in guiding me to this website with such pleasant attitude so that we could do this review! We have been trying to do this for months since he had to help us with 2 situations and we only had the car at that time about 1 month!??We would recommend this insurance company to anyone! Its hard to find great help and obviously DOWC you do a great job in recruiting great workers! Keep up the EXCELLENT work! Thank you **********!!!

  After a rough start due to miscommunication from a previous rep * *** took over my claim after hearing the frustration in my voice .He provided **************************** * he listened* was empathetic and most importantly took action! *** went above and beyond making sure I was updated throughout the day * I did not have to call him ONCE!! He kept all promises on when he would call me back and explained every strep of the way * which put me at ease in a very stressful situation!! Im a customer service OPS Manager for a Medical Device ********************** here in ATL and would be proud knowing someone like *** was representing my company!!

  I have had the opportunity to work with several agents for DOWC, each have been very easy to work with when filing a claim. Among these agents ****************** is top of the class. He is always friendly and helpful. He takes personal attention to get to know the people who are calling in to DOWC. As far as the claim process, it is easy to file and typically get a response back within the same day up to 24hrs. I really appreciate that there is little to no hold time when trying to get ahold of someone.
