      Classic bait and switch. Advertised specific vintages then delivered all the incorrect years. 3 different wines. Denied it was done on purpose but it absolutely was. Will never order from this company again.

      Only the overpriced case was delivered, all the ones (7 more cases) that had a decent price were on backorder. Tracking is not supplied but offered through ********, a third party scammer app. Shipping the case I have received almost took 2 weeks. No notification on the backorders. I got a refund after researching the family and sending an email explaining what my next steps are if I do not receive a refund on the backorder items, the whole amount of shipping insurance and the anual free shipping pass i purchased, considering the quantity of my whole order.Stay away, this family is practicing dishonest business practices.

      Took my money, didn't deliver all the wine. A customer service failure My wine shipment didn't contain all the bottles I ordered. I reported the missing bottles/problem via online customer service email and sent multiple follow uo emails over the course of two weeks. I received reply emails acknowledging receipt of my inquiries, but never was offered a resolution or any material information. I made two follow-up phone calls to customer service, spoke with pleasant yet unhelpful agents, and requested return phone calls with status up dates. I've never received a call back. At this point, I consider winechateau.com a fraud.

      I wish I had known about their terrible business practices before I ordered from them. I ordered on June 2nd and June 5th it was marked as shipped. When you click on the track shipment, it goes to a blank ****** page. I contacted June 11th and they said "good timing, we are prepping your order now!". BS. Its now June 18th, I emailed again with no response. I contacted my credit card to dispute. HOW can they still be in business when they are complete scammers??

      In the wine business, you usually carefully select what you want. If the vendor is substituting something without approval, thats a problem. I was substituted on an expensive purchase, though it did not fit at all with an event I was planning, based on my purchase Wine chateau sent me something I didnt want and then offered me a paltry discount to purchase something I didnt want in the first place!Never again.

      Similar to many other reviews here. I placed 2 orders recently. There was no accurate order status provided anywhere along the way on either order. On the first order, they sent a different vintage than what I orderred, but did provide a credit for price differential once I contacted them. On the 2nd order, I called before placing to confirm the item was in stock. After 3+ weeks of being told the order was fulfilled, shipped, coming next week, etc I demanded an explanation and was told they did not have the item in stock and have been unable to source it. They did provide a credit, but overall a hassle with little to no customer service or acknowledgement that they are doing anything wrong at any point in the process.

      I ordered a bottle of wine that was marked in stock on their website, but when the item was received it was the wrong item. I called to inquire about why I was sent the wrong product and they said that the item I requested was not in stock so they sent what they had available. They would offered a 10 or 15% refund for the inconvenience. Nobody called to tell me that the item was not available or I would have never ordered. Waste of money - please do not order from this company.

      DO NOT ORDER from this business. They charge your card before shipping, never ship or send the wrong item (or both, in my case), and then it's a fight to get a refund. Ordered two bottles of gin that were shown as in stock. After several weeks I inquired on where the items I paid for were and was told one would ship soon and the other was being sent from the supplier. Received the wrong bottle and was told they would give me 10% off the cost to avoid returning the bottle. That is absurd. The correct answer is to send me the correct item and let me keep the incorrect one at no charge, as most reputable businesses do. Then they eventually cancelled the 2nd bottle that I had already paid for and I had to ask for a refund on it. They said it would come through in 3-5 business days. It have been over 7, and nothing. Will be disputing this charge with my credit card company to get my money back. Total frauds.

      Don't ever buy from this company. The biggest liars out there. It's been over a month and two weeks with a run around and still have not got nothing. I am still in dispute with PayPal. It has been the biggest headache with lies after lies. Just buy it locally to save the issue
