  This was my first experience with Youngs Water and Sewer. I had a garbage disposal replaced and their technician, ****, did an absolutely excellent job. **** was personable, knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. He identified the problem, went and purchased a new disposal and installed it the same day!! We were extremely happy!!

  *************** timely keeping my appointment, knowledgeable staff, and very professional. The technicians, **** and ****, provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend them!The entire staff went out of their way to obtain the part needed the same day so we wouldn't be out of hot water during the weekend! This speaks volumes................

  There was a leak under the sink in my kitchen which was caused by the dishwasher technician. I was matched with Young's water and sewer through my warranty company. **** who came to fix the issue was very capable and was able to fix the issue. He knew what he was doing. He shut off the water supply so he can access the hard to reach space under the sink. He replaced the valve so it's easy to operate it. After turning on the water back on, he made sure the dishwasher can also be run assuring there are no leaks.This is not the first time I have used the Young's. Their staff is very professional and knowledgeable.

  Honestly had a great experience, plumber was very professional and knowledgeable. They advised me with the best solution for my issue and they fixed it asap, they even helped me with the budget I had. Definitely a great decision in case you have an emergency or a problem in your house.

  You may want to think twice about using your credit card for a down payment on work by this company. This company replaced the galvanized water pipe in my house without a problem about 10 years ago. I hired them to do the same thing with another house this year. They had their work inspected before it was completed and charged the same credit card I had used for the down payment but this time without my consent. The guys they sent our were on time and professional. The current management is questionable.More later.

  The company (formerly "Young's *********** Utilities") had done the exact same job for me about 10 years ago and things had gone smoothly, so I took the reviews here with a grain of salt. The former owner, ******************* (a Master *******), and an apprentice did the work. His ex-wife and her partner now own the business. It is a very different company. The new management charged my card for $500 more than the 51% deposit listed on the contract to replace my galvanized water lines with copper. I didn't know this until I received my credit card bill, or I would have frozen my card then. They scheduled a final inspection without notifying me when about 25% of the work was still not complete, then charged my card again, without my consent, for $6,900. This would have put me over my card's limit if I hadn't just paid it off. They said the job was complete.They also offered to get my insurance company to pay (neither line was broken; just old) and offered financing. That could have increased my insurance premiums and may not have been legit. I would have had to share my SS# for financing, which would have left me vulnerable to additional types of fraud. Look under "credit card" and "insurance" on review sites for other reviews that mention these same issues. The techs who came out were on time, hard working, and professional. They made some errors due to lack of training and supervision (noted in other reviews as well), e.g., not initially putting the waterline next to the sewer line in a sleeve and choosing to dig through the crawlspace rather than alongside the house until they reached the deeper basement. The techs were not licensed plumbers. I never met the person who signed the permit. I don't know if anyone was supervising them. The company tried to charge me for the extra time these mistakes things took. In the end, to make up for their loss, they skipped swapping out the galvanized after the water meter out for copper. They later tried to get me to pay for it as an extra job when it had been included last time. By that point, I was concerned about their ability to do the work at all.As of 5/18/2024, this company holds a home improvement license, but not a plumbing license, despite how it is listed on the ************************ website. One of the owners has a plumbing license under his own name however. They never showed me the permit before submitting it. I did not sign off on it. I got it from the town yesterday. His name was on it.
